Chapter 422: Chapter 92: Who Wields the Colored Ribbon Dancing in the Sky_4

After a series of strange crane-like chants, much to the shocked and astonished faces of Liu and Guoguo, the Fire Crane "Yi Tiao" swung out six rotating "Blades of Flames" from its pointed beak. The wave of flames scorching through the air carried rapid blade-light, and six eagle knights, along with their steeds, were cut in half by the inwardly spinning flame-blades, spilling blood and scattering feathers in the air. Had the formation of the Eagle Scouts been as neat as Newton’s Air Cavalry, this magic could have wiped them out entirely!

Liu was taken by surprise. He never expected the Fire Crane to know more than one attack magic. It could protest a strange, chanted crane-call to summon high-level fire magic.

Only now did Liu fully realize what kind of Magical Beast the "Emerald Dream" considered more powerful than a Frost Giant Dragon!

The Giant Dragon Clan can use the mysterious Dragon Language to summon magic faster than a mage, and below high-level magic. Unexpectedly, the Boggs Sand Fire Crane can do the same! A "Siphon Fire Practice," a "Flame Blade," all are high-level fire magic!

Could this be called Crane Language Magic? Both Liu and Guoguo’s sunglasses fell below their noses, their mouths gaping so wide they were out of shape, like a melon that had been kicked repeatedly.

This was only the beginning of the battle, and the Fire Crane was bound to astound its masters once again. With an elegant and relaxed posture, it turned sideways from high in the sky, tilted its colossal body, which was almost perpendicular to the blue sky, and with a powerful flap of its huge wings, Liu saw a giant swirl of air appear in the air due to the rapid collision of the air, forming a funnel-shaped tornado, distorting and shaking the entire space.

The nine swiftly approaching Eagle Knights realized it was too late to avoid the whirl of air charging towards them. The eagles, reliant on the air currents to glide through the sky, were torn apart by the winds, their feathers flying in all directions, sucked one after the other into the vortex, becoming like spinning carousel horses. The knights were flung from their steeds, their screams of panic echoing through the air as their figures rapidly decreased in size and fell towards the earth.

This was not wind magic; it was a combat technique the Fire Crane was using, turning its wing strength and power into a whirlwind! Liu and Guoguo were so overjoyed they felt like crying.

The distant dragon’s roar was getting closer, and their deep and powerful dragon might seem to twine around the air. With a clear cry, the Fire Crane shot up to the sky like an arrow released from a bow, then its wings closely pressed against its belly, it flipped vertically from the high altitude, its pointed beak like a sword that broke through the sky, separating all the eagles and the remaining knights spinning in the air into halves with its colossal body.

Thanks to Liu and Guoguo’s specially designed semi-enclosed saddles with leg inserts, they weren’t thrown off. In the dizzying whirl of the Fire Crane’s movements, Liu felt a numbness around his eyes and a desire to vomit. He quickly reached out and grabbed hold of Guoguo and the parrot, taking a moment to calm down.

Looking at Guoguo, his eyes were sparkling, and at the parrot, lying on his back, its claws trembling violently.

Liu quickly rubbed his inflamed head, pulled out the Ancient Power Fire Gun from his back, and prepared to face the Dragon Knight who had popped up from nowhere. He was bound to confront the Giant Dragon sooner or later; Liu was ready to give it his all.

Finally coming to, Guoguo wiped his nose, his bright little eyes rolling round and round.

"Yi Tiao’s" flight posture remained perfect. It felt a powerful opponent approaching, and like its masters, it was equally eager to test the weight of this opponent.

The shadow on the horizon was getting closer and closer. Liu could even see the unique flesh-wings and figure of the Giant Dragon. An unknown passion was roiling in his chest.

Suddenly, Guoguo jumped out from the saddle. Although the back of the Fire Crane was wide, it was still high in the sky, but Liu did not stop him. He knew Guoguo would not cause trouble at this time.

Once out of the saddle, Guoguo was blown by the fierce storm, his big ears turned into a flopping tail, holding onto the Fire Crane’s Iron Feathers, rapidly crawling to the wing-rib of the Fire Crane, and pulling out a long bolt.

Liu’s eyes narrowed.

The feather of the Fire Crane was still rolling with a ruby-like halo. Liu had touched the texture of the feathers before, and although he did not know what magic the Fire Crane used for its body protection, he was certain that at this moment, the hardness of the feathers was definitely not less than heavy armor.

The bolt had been fired into "Yi Tiao" and was not clear whether it was stabbed, rubbed or shot. Now, it was not clear at all, and Guoguo, the one who had a telepathic connection with the Fire Crane, could not speak. Liu had a faint feeling of unease in his heart.

Looking at the bolt brought back by Guoguo, Old Liu looked at the black arrowhead and took a whiff over his nose, immediately detecting a sweet scent.

Damn it! Old Liu had become a poison expert, how could he not discern this poison arrow? Moreover, this kind of toxin was not ordinary, Old Liu’s heart sank.
