Chapter 418: Chapter 91: An Epic Duel of Madmen _5

The slender blade of the golden longknife and its curved edge, perfect for chopping, enabled the first wave of Mammoth warriors to sever both their opponents and their battle axes into four pieces from top to bottom.

It is said that the berserkers can still fight even when their heads are chopped off, so the Mammoth warriors decided to quarter them.

To everyone’s surprise, the fastest charger was not Korina, but Rodman.

Fat Luo, a Mammoth warrior who had never graduated to becoming a cavalryman, was a rare genius amongst the Mammoth clan. Although he had never learnt how to enter Self-initiated Berserk, he was the most adored blade apprentice amongst the Green Faction monks; while other Mammoth warriors preferred to study techniques like chopping, Luo alone learned all the Green Faction blade techniques - a closely guarded secret of the Green Faction, which wouldn’t have been taught to him without the required perseverance and determination.

Rodman compensated for his inability to go berserk with his intelligence, "Trunk Chop" was a unique technique he invented. Who could withstand a Mammoth warrior who could wield three long knives at once when those wielding two were already a nightmare?

Along with mastering the true essence of blade technique, Rodman had also learned the essence of overturning and creating. Such was the evaluation given to him by the Green Faction monks.

In this historical battle concerning Bimon’s honor, Fat Luo, inspired by the Overlord’s impassioned speech, with a bursting sense of accomplishment and willingness to sacrifice, invoked the potential within him using the first wave of enemy blood, comprehending the "Mirror Attack". A technique only the Blade Saint of the Green Faction could understand.

Three Rodmans simultaneously attacked a single point, this Mammoth warrior almost chopped through the crowd of berserkers in a sweep. Mammoth warriors were significantly taller than berserkers, with blades almost as long as a knight’s spear, in combination with the peculiar techniques of the Green Faction, Rodman had, during combat, unexpectedly integrated the complicated parts of his blade technique, inducing the high level continuous blade technique of the Green Faction Blade Saints, "Blade Windstorm". This was the huge advantage of having a smooth blade technique.

Having a Mammoth warrior comprehend this blade technique, was a fundamentally cruel matter, particularly when facing berserkers.

Two mirrored Rodmans transformed into rippling waves. After they disappeared, in the midst of brilliant golden light, a hulking and massive figure, wrapped in sharp blade light, like a spinning top in fury, cleaved through the swarm of berserkers halfway to the ground. Debris flew wildly, blade light crisscrossed, and along the ten-yard long "Blade Windstorm", there was a veritable meat grinder that reduced at least twenty berserkers and their own battle axes to pieces.

The Overlord’s Tiger Head Hook and Wolf Fang Club were both thrown, compared to the Lunar Blades shot from the Birdwing Crossbow Car, their power were absolutely equal within twenty yards.

Even with both his hands empty, not a single berserker could block Liu Zhenhan’s path. No matter how strong a berserker’s will to fight, it couldn’t counter his agility and unparalleled strength. Knees, fists, elbows, legs, all were weapons on the Overlord’s body, and all were deadly. Around him, one or two figures would often unexpectedly fall; if you lowered your gaze, you could see a little Frosty Pichu on the ground, who held two Copper Hammers, swinging only at ankles. The fates of those whose ankles were hit by these two Copper Hammers were almost similar to being rammed by a rhino.

After the impact wave of the hippo poet, panda warrior and Mastiff warrior encountered the berserkers, the battle entered its most brilliant and final Chapter.

Through the flames tossed out by the pandas, all the spectators saw a clearly split scene; both groups seemed to be advancing, fighting fiercely, but behind the Terracotta militiamen, there were large pools of blood, littered with countless chunks of meat.

The followers of the Scepter Shamans and Holy Temple Knights closely behind the militiamen were effectively left behind; in many cases, their weapons had not even been bloodied. Not because they didn’t want to, but simply because it wasn’t their turn yet.

The berserkers gained their reputation because of their inflated will to fight after going berserk and their immense strength, but these two points, when pitted against these Bimon militiamen, left them as defenseless as Romeo when he met Juliet. Terracotta militiamen earn their keep with these two traits.

Even the relatively weakest Mastiff warriors among the militiamen were stronger than the berserkers, let alone when there were hippo warriors and an even more powerful unit of panda warriors pouncing forward. Due to their multilevel attack formation, their attack strategies diversified. This made the brute-force berserkers severely beaten by their preferred mode of attack.

While ruthlessly slaughtering berserkers, the performance of the Terracotta militiamen was also terrifying their own compatriots. The ferocity and huge power of their attacks, coupled with their terrifying stamina and endurance, not only chilled the enemy’s heart but also their own kin’s. Nobody wanted to encounter such opponents who feared nothing, were invincible, and wherever their blades passed, never left behind an intact corpse. This was a prominent characteristic of Terracotta militiamen, as it had been before, as it was now. Heavy load weightlifting exercises and the Overlord’s instilling had made their hands both black and heavy.

The battle ended rapidly.

Five hundred berserkers turned into a pile of perfectly minced meat.

At the cost of each Terracotta militiaman slaughtering an average of six berserkers, five hundred berserkers were killed completely. The world-renowned scene of a berserker able to continue fighting even after being beheaded did not take place because they had all been quartered. If they were still able to stand and continue fighting after this, it would indeed defy the laws of physics.

Human cavalry watching the fight from a distance were pale and shaky, with an innumerable amount collapsing. This battle came as swiftly as a thunderstorm and retreated just as quickly. By the time the opponent’s song had yet to finish, five hundred berserkers had already been entirely wiped out.

Looking at the godlike figures of the Mammoth Clan’s strongmen, each cavalryman had a shameful thought running through their mind.

The Berserkers had proven their strength. Among the militiamen, someone surprisingly got injured. This was a first and was the best compliment to the Berserkers’ battle prowess.

It was Fat Luo who got injured. His "Blade Whirlwind" attack had him charging too fast, and both of his long knives were completely shattered. This drained half of his energy, leading to his provisions being swallowed around. His exquisite sword technique allowed him to kill several enemies, but his chest was also hit by two axes. Even his naturally petrified skin was split open by two shocking slashes. Had the Overlord not appeared in time, Fat Luo would have lost his life.

Fat Luo, his vision blurred, had even nearly knocked down the Overlord with a single blow.

"Can you still stand?" asked the Overlord.

"Why not." Fat Luo rolled his eyes, releasing his grip on the notched knife twirled around his nose - the Berserkers were tough nuts to crack.

Leaning on his long knife, Fat Luo gritted his teeth and stood up, blood from his chest seeping out of the wound.

"Kampas! Kampas!" Amid the cheers of the militiamen, Fat Luo proudly raised his long knife, repeatedly nodding in acknowledgment.

"Can you still fight?" asked the Overlord.

"Why not." Fat Luo’s eyes rolled violently again.

"Damn it, I didn’t even get to strike one down and ran out of stamina!" Gude was furious. When the pandas at the rear arrived, it was basically several people fighting against a single fire-breathing Berserker. Indeed, Gude didn’t get to strike down a single one.

"So, what are we waiting for?" Liu Zhenhan picked up a large axe from the ground, pointing at the two allied light Cavalry units ahead: "Keep fighting!"

The allied light Cavalry units immediately fled.

This wasn’t only because these Beamon soldiers could easily shatter any Berserker, but also because the magic "Flame Meteor" and one "Tidal Slash" had already hit their heads. Additionally, countless Wolf Cavalry had rushed out from the steps.

"Heh, you think you can just leave?" Liu Zhenhan chuckled and snapped his fingers.

Guoguo flicked the Medusa Badge on her belly, emitting a dazzling light.

Called "One", the fire crane spread its massive wings in a rainbow-like aura with a clear call.
