Inside the Snow Banana Garden of the Mammoth Clan, the top of a high mountain cave was adorned with icicle stalactites that exhaled a chilling aura.
Sheets of emerald green banana leaves moved without wind, subtly filling the air with a faint, pleasant, sweet aroma.
Amongst the lush and dripping green branches, the snowy white and sturdy Snow Bananas of Mount Tamerlarya hung like plump crescent moons on the treetop.
In the middle of the huge cave was a freezing fountain the size of a reservoir, constantly puffing out a hazy chill.
Liu Zhenhan held a gently smoking cigar in his mouth, staring at the Snow Banana Forest meticulously cultivated with the heart and soul of the entire Mammoth Clan.
Little Vincent was right, the Snow Banana plantation belonging to the Mammoth Clan was right next door.
Although the entrance was blocked by many big rocks, it was not a problem at all for Liu Zhenhan who possessed the power of a dragon.
As it was, all those boulders had been tossed off the cliff.
Everyone was fast asleep.
The fresh alcoholic brew made from the Star-tailed turtle’s Turtle Bead was potent indeed.
The drowsy members of the Mammoth Clan hadn’t expected that the dragon they had joyfully welcomed to their celebration would be an ungrateful guest who started making them drink from the get-go, with no good intentions whatsoever.
Liu Zhenhan had been pacing in front of the Snow Banana Forest for a long time, the ice on the ground all trampled and disordered.
Several times he reached out, but after some thought, lowered his hand again.
In Liu Zhenhan’s gaze upon the Snow Banana Forest, hesitation and regret lingered constantly.
Eventually, he snuffed out the cigar, removed the blood jade ring from his hand and held it up in the air.
A pair of delicate hands held him back from behind.
Helen stood behind him, her expression complex and her sparkling eyes revealing a myriad of thoughts.
“I must make them follow me.
I need these powerful warriors.” Liu Zhenhan said.
“Only by destroying this Snow Banana Forest will they possibly follow me.” Liu Zhenhan said.
“Last time, I exchanged for a Slat Banana with the Shepherd-tree People just to recruit the Orephin warriors.
You saw the way the elephants of Witherspoon looked at me.” Liu Zhenhan said.
“Bananas simply can’t grow in the Donau Wasteland, with its slow growth cycle, as you know.
Only the most influential Fawkes family has the financial resources to buy bananas from human traders and support strong Orephin warriors.” Helen said, “What if the Slat Banana you exchanged with the Shepherd-tree People don’t grow?
The elephants are heavily reliant on bananas, without bananas, these mammoths will gradually weaken…”
“If I insist on doing this outrageous thing, what would you do?” Liu Zhenhan interrupted Helen and asked straightforwardly.
A moment of silence, only the gushing sound of the Ice Spring.
“Whatever you want to do, I’ll go along with it, as long as you’re happy.” Helen gently leaned against Liu Zhenhan, pressing her cheek against his strong chest, tears welling up in her eyes.
Something seemed to lodge in Liu Zhenhan’s chest, causing his heart to churn.
He suddenly held Helen close, hugging her tightly.
“I love you, Helen,” Liu Zhenhan held Helen’s face in his hands.
“The Golden Figures are not suitable to make an appearance here, let me handle this.” Little fox took off her Medusa Badge, looking at the thriving Snow Banana Forest while sighing in regret.
“There are some details I need to explain to you, doing shameful things is not always so simple.” Liu Zhenhan winked mysteriously, succinctly instructing Helen on what should be done and how…
Helen nodded.
A rainbow colored light flashed across her eyes, and a Komodo War Behemoth, as large as a mountain appeared in the cave.
Emerging from the Hibernation Boundary, it eyed the Snow Banana forest hungrily.
It lumbered forwards, shaking its gigantic bottom, taking a huge bite of a banana tree before chewing voraciously.
Helen quickly gave instructions to this gluttonous Magical Beast.
A whirlwind of corrosive acid swept over the Snow Banana Forest, leaving trails of deep blue lightning and scorched the green trunk of the Snow Bananas into a charred black.
The giant body of the Komodo War Behemoth also served as a deadly weapon.
With the force of mountains and seas harnessed by its rampaging body, the Snow Bananas were uprooted wherever it ploughed through.
Some of them were hurled against the wall of the cave, others into the Ice Spring – the Mammoth Clan’s carefully cultivated Snow Banana Forest was reduced to chaos in an instant.
Helen buried her face deeply into Liu Zhenhan’s chest, not bearing to look anymore.
Lightning from the War Behemoth surged back and forth, illuminating the entire Snow Banana Cave with flying sparks of electricity.
From the Ice Spring, which emitted a plume of cold air, darted out a large group of thumb-sized salamanders with yellow spots on their skin.
They opened their mouths and spat out lightning, attacking the rampaging Komodo War Behemoth.
The lightning from their seemingly tiny bodies was quite formidable.
A non-stop barrage of lightning hit the skin of the Komodo War Behemoth, forming clear and discernable electrical grids on it.
The huge body of the Komodo War Behemoth screeched to a halt, paralyzed by the collective lightning of this group of salamanders.
“Damn this annoying Paralysis Lightning!” Helen groaned.
“Paralysis Lightning” was one of the worst spells in the electrical category, even the most potent “Paralysis Lightning” could only cause a numb or dazed effect but no actual harm.
The “Paralysis Lightning” discharged by the salamanders of Mount Tamerlarya as a group, even if it was a group magic spell, its “Paralysis Lightning” only had a certain delaying effect on the thick skin of the Komodo War Behemoth.
