Chapter 1495: Chapter 442: The Bloody Counterattack Plan {Part 2}_3
Several gargoyles with some residual strength switched to petrification mode, healing themselves. An Obsidian Flyer, severely burned by the bright light of the Mirror Cannon and nearly entirely turned into carbon, was still not dead. It was hard not to admire the robust vitality of the Demon Clan.
"You are a Winged Knight, so you must be some kind of leader, right? What’s your name?" Old Liu grinned as he scrutinized the shabby-looking Demon Clan dual-winged knight, with a beard and hair as fluffy as egg fluffs.
This Winged Knight’s eyeballs bulged bigger than walnuts, fiercely rolling his eyes and giving Old Liu an untamed and contemptuous look, his pupils twinkling with flecks of silver light.
"Gulp," a dull thud. The little parrot fiercely smacked the back of the idiot’s head with its wings, causing his head to jerk forward, almost making him stumble and fall on his face.
"Look at that! You even dare to use the ’Psychic Shock Technique’!" Old Liu sneered, "I’ve even withstood the majesty of the Seven-Colored Dragon. Your level of psychic shock is nothing to me!"
The Death Demon Knight, excellent in both magic and combat, originally possessed abilities like manipulating corpses and Dark Entwining Arrows. After advancing to a Winged Magic Knight, he could absorb the power from a divinely gifted nightmare steed through a Death Contract, thereby gaining special abilities such as flying, fiery limbs, and psychic shocks. This Death Knight, who had just tried to launch a psychic shockwave through his eyes to surprise his opponent, didn’t expect to be first struck by the parrot’s wing. He’d already been hit several times and was very helpless about it.
"Let me educate him~" mimicking Xiao Bei’s tone, the parrot swaggered its huge sideburns.
"Brother, I need a favor from you. Help me instill some Necromancy into these." Old Liu took off the four pieces of the Death Overlord set and threw them in front of the Winged Knight. "Don’t play dumb with me. I know you Winged Magic Knights study Necromancy. It’s recorded in the Aegean Canon."
"The Death Overlord’s gear? Samuel is my idol, Ben Wallace!" With a ridiculous hairstyle, the Winged Knight finally spoke up as he looked at a badge, an earring, a bracelet, and a ring on the ground. Surprisingly, his Aegean Common Language was even more standard than Old Liu’s.
"He’s also my idol. It takes great courage to be a traitor. I want to be one, but I’ve never been able to make that decision." Old Liu laughed heartily.
"Heh, all the primal Arcane power in these four Death Overlord’s pieces has been completely dispersed. Amazing! These are top-tier self-replenishing magic items; who could thoroughly disperse the Arcane power inside them?" The Winged Knight’s face was full of mockery as he looked up at Old Liu. "You’re funny asking me to input Arcane power into these items. What do you think I am? Do you want to own the entire Death Overlord set?"
After this tough guy experienced what it’s like to have his blood boil through dialysis, he wasn’t as tough as before.
"If you do as I say, I’ll make your death quick," Old Liu smiled at the fashion-forward Demon Clan Winged Knight named Ben Wallace. "Please refuse! I really hope you do because I have several Larza Beasts in heat recently. If I use you as the star in a video, it will show your peers your valor when we go to war!"
"I understand now... Outside the Demon Clan, there’s another Demon Clan..." said the Winged Knight, disheveled, foam at the mouth, lying on the ground, and his limbs twitching slightly.
"Less nonsense! My patience is limited!"
Under the threatening gaze of two huge Larza Beasts, the Winged Magic Knight obediently replenished the Necromancy in the Death Overlord’s gear piece by piece. Old Liu occasionally dabbed him with a drop from the Spring of Elements to help him replenish his lost Elemental Power.
This Winged Magic Knight was very obedient, showing no signs of resistance, as his opponents’ line-up completely discouraged him from any desperate struggle.
Any Winged Knight, when surrounded by ten phantom Phoenixes, a Dragon Knight, numerous robust men and Mages, would feel unable to muster the spirit to fight like a cornered beast.
"What a good kid! Don’t say I didn’t leave you a way out. Someone, set off fireworks for them!" Old Liu stuffed the four pieces of the Death Overlord’s gear into his pocket, content with victory. Elise had spoken about everything pertaining to the Death Overlord, enlightening him on a true shortcut to using the Death Overlord’s gear!
Now all he had to do was wait for these items to automatically replenish their Magic Power so he could use them.
A large group of Summer Palace guards brought over a huge tin bucket, scooping out extremely volatile alcohol with big ladles, a kind that comes from Desert Star-tailed turtles and stings the eyes with its sharp smell.
Three Summer Palace guards worked together; one pried open the mouth of a Demon Clan prisoner, another held a funnel, and the last one ladled the alcohol in.
"I keep my word, as long as you can fly away, I’ll spare your lives!" Old Liu waved his hand at these Demon Clan prisoners who had had their stomachs filled with alcohol, gesturing them to leave.
Behind him stood a hundred and four Summer Palace archers, each holding a flaming arrow ready to be shot.
Moments later, the sky burst out with one splendid firework after another.
"Heh, fun." Old Liu smirked coldly as he filmed the spectacle, with the humans standing behind him mostly fixing their eyes on him.
