Chapter 1451 - 422: Endless Ambush
Chapter 1451: Chapter 422: Endless Ambush
Suddenly, the explosion of a Blood Magic Shield truly gave Old Liu a startling scare.
Two voluptuous flying celestial women were circling around in front and behind him, then abruptly materialized.
Liu, shocked, stared blankly at the two generously endowed women twirling in front of him. He was somewhat bewildered; why did his invisibility tattoo pop out on its own today! And with such clarity and solidity!
He tried to touch them, to see how they felt, but as soon as the thought occurred to him, the two flying nude women, only usually seen on the Yanghe Daqu liquor label, converged in front of him.
Could it be like when Magic Tutors advance, first evolving a Moon Gold Shield and then a Sun Gold Shield? Is this a semi-advancement? Liu swallowed hard, finding it a bit absurd. Logically, Guoguo should have absorbed more of the Blood Magic Power than himself, so why didn’t she advance, and instead, he did?
Could it be because when he advanced to a Magic Tutor, the leap was so substantial that it carried over to his Saint Chiao advancement? As soon as Liu entertained this possibility, he couldn’t help but stick out his tongue. If that were true, it seemed the next advancement for the Blood Magic Saint Level was quite out of the ordinary!
Intuitively, these two flying naked ladies seemed quite useful, at least as Maids running errands and serving tea and water – no problem! How about their attack capabilities? Liu gave the two beauties an attack command, and the two Blood Servants bit their tongues hard, spewing two Blood Arrows from their mouths "whoosh whoosh" towards an imaginary enemy in the distant woods, blowing two arrow-shaped holes in a massive old tree, sending wood chips flying everywhere.
The elder Flower Elf thought there was another enemy and leapt up into the air, frantically looking around in a panic.
"Damn!" Liu cursed. These two Blood Servants seemed to only know this one spell, or perhaps, it was the only magical attack method present in Liu’s mind.
However, these two Blood Servants were better off than him, as they could breathe out Fire without any blood flowing, allowing them to cast the spell frequently – although the grade of "Blood Arrow Fusion" was a bit low, it was nonetheless derived from a superior Saint Level, hence its enhanced potency was not much inferior to that of a Mage-level spell.
Liu tried to play the Bimon War Song and use Floral Magic, only to find the two Blood Servants powerless in these respects. It seemed their capabilities were limited to Blood Magic, but there was also an upside; Liu discovered he had full vision, with a clear view of both front and back, as if watching TV. Needless to say, this must also be thanks to the two Blood Servants!
This semi-advancement---let’s just call it that for now, Liu had finally grasped what it entailed!
"Power Pattern" materialized into Blood Servants, with the addition of casting pathways and combat units!
Before, it was just the Mage himself casting spells; now, additional combat units have appeared – the Blood Servants, and this shield also became a Mirror Image assistant! The Mage’s Blood Magic and the Blood Servants are fully interoperable!
This means if a skilled Great Magician reached Liu’s level, he could rely on the Blood Servants of the Mirror Images to gang up on the opponent with magic – strength in numbers, as through Blood Servants, a Mage could cast spells several times faster! However, for Liu, the two buxom nude blood servants were basically just two big flower vases that knew how to fire "Blood Arrow Fusion."
Above the Saint Level, one should still be able to further advance by leaps and bounds! Liu, excited, was also a bit apprehensive; he still had so many tattoos not yet materialized, how many advancements would it take to complete? Even worse, these two Blood Servants seem unable to become invisible, clinging to him all day like ghosts, wouldn’t that just make a laughingstock out of him? Wouldn’t that only confirm the salacious rumors about him?
Why couldn’t the Downhill Tiger and the Azure Dragon turn into Blood Servants? Liu couldn’t help but laugh and cry at the same time. People say wealth builds character, but why does it seem that as he got wealthier, his reputation became even more unsavory? Indeed, unrelated as they could be, they still managed to tarnish his name!
Enrida watched this guy with his rapidly changing expression and then at the two women, momentarily doubting whether she was dreaming, how could she have encountered such an elusive yet terrifying powerful weirdo!
The eight Tauren Soul Wanderers, along with a large contingent of Dragon Breath Taurens, had come back from clearing the battlefield and picked up seven high-quality blades that hadn’t been destroyed by the overwhelming Forbidden Curse; lightning and vines didn’t do much damage to metal, but "Heavenly Fury Nirvana Fire" was too powerful, many Demon Clan warriors’ top-notch armor just vaporized instantly.
Among these spoils was the "Frost’s Sorrow" style sword that belonged to the six-winged Magic Cavalry, with its fierce ram’s horn guard, ancient runes, and an abundance of frost elements like a strong wind on one’s face, but whether it was genuine or a counterfeit – with fakes abounding these days, doubt had become a habitual response to everything, including truth itself.
"Your Majesty Richard!"
"Your Majesty Richard!"
"Your Majesty Richard!"
Elder Cech, like a cat with its tail on fire, called out to Liu three times before Old Liu snapped out of examining the authenticity of the sword, looking around in confusion.
"What is it?"
"Come and look at our ancestor Elise!"
"What happened?" Liu, holding Guoguo, walked over to the elder and bent down to look at the breathtakingly beautiful Elise, only to roll his eyes.
Elise’s chest was slightly heaving, obviously breathing, but her eyelashes remained tightly closed, not awake.
"What’s going on?" Liu was incredibly surprised: "She... wasn’t she supposed to be dead? Both safety measures failed to act in time!"
"I don’t know what’s going on either!" Elder Cech revealed a smile that looked more like crying.
"Strange things happen every year, but this year there are particularly many!" Liu Shock tossed Guoguo into Elder Cech’s arms, leaning his ear against Elise’s chest to listen.
Elder Cech’s brows furrowed, and he tolerated it; but then he saw this Flower King behaving more and more recklessly, the elder panicked, grabbing old Liu’s arm: "You... What are you trying to do... Are you still a Flower King at all... You’re bullying too much!"
"Ever heard of CPR?" Liu Shock asked the elder.
"No idea!"
"No clue, so that settles it? I’m saving her! Didn’t you notice her breathing is very weak, as if she’s being suffocated by something?" Liu Shock said with a chuckle.
"It’s not necessary!"
"If you’re clueless, step aside!"
"You good-for-nothing ruler, I’m gonna fight you!" The Flower Elf elder’s butt turned red with exertion, pulling and tugging without being able to budge him.
"Gaga~ Good-for-nothing ruler~ Good-for-nothing ruler~" The little parrot sat on Enrida’s hair, craning its head as it squawked weirdly.
"Enough already!" Liu Shock shoved away the fool’s hand impatiently: "Fine, I won’t save her!"
"We don’t need a rescue from you, the good-for-nothing ruler! Nor will we allow you, the good-for-nothing ruler, to touch our philosopher again!" The Flower Elf elder stretched out his hand to block in front of Elise, his eyes wary as if guarding against a sex maniac.
"Well then, clean up, we should plan on leaving this place!" Liu Shock was inwardly delighted to be addressed as ’Your Majesty’ by the elder, his vanity overwhelmingly satisfied.
"Wait a minute!" Liu Shock’s face turned pale, suddenly remembering something important----------where did Axianu go? Without the Black Tylaros Void, her only fate under the sunlight was to turn to ashes, did she run off to alert the Fallen Tribe?
And, how did Gerein just suddenly vanish?
After dismissing Guoguo’s four-piece Deathlord’s attire, Liu Shock tried summoning for quite a while himself, but Gerein did not appear, and what’s more, the Ice Throne armor couldn’t be summoned either, as if the whole set had malfunctioned!
Truly baffling incidents! Liu Shock thought hard but couldn’t figure out why.
From a distance, there came a "krakrak" loud noise, in the center of the Ten Star Pearl Cold Pool, one of the hexagonal stone pillars fell, splashing up giant waves. Immediately after, a wet phantom-like little thing pounced into another cold pool, diving into the water’s depths. Before long, another hexagonal stone pillar also fell!
The ground quivered like waves, making people stagger, barely able to stand steady!
"Axianu!" Liu Shock’s roar thundered: "Come back to me now!"
Huge water jets erupted simultaneously from all ten cold pools, with such force that Liu Shock thought aerial bombs had been dropped into them.
Water droplets formed an umbrella-like canopy overhead, the piercing cold chasing away all gentle breezes, withering the earth with the desolation of winter early on!
Under another violent shaking of the earth’s crust, a huge frozen soil plateau was forcibly arched over.
Two sail-like gigantic objects squeezed out of the mud, spewing a white misty breath at Xiang Pa!
Liu Shock only realized now, how could the hexagonal pillars inscribed with Dragon Clan’s script possibly say that there was treasure beneath the Ten Star Pearl Cold Pool?
Axianu had gone to great lengths, merely taking advantage of his ignorance of the Dragon language, plotting to release whatever was underneath these Ten Star Pearl Cold Pools!
