Chapter 1395: Chapter 397 Military Flag Unfolds_3

The Overlord has always disagreed with enlisting the elderly into the army, but after witnessing the performance of these thirty-two elderly Pandas, Liu was shocked and ashamed to find that he couldn’t refuse them, for these old fellows were far more formidable than the young Panda warriors, swinging their wine barrels fiercely! He simply pulled them all in to serve as his personal guards.

As a result, the elderly warriors of the strong war races such as the Aurochs, the Mammoths, and the Hippos started making a fuss, clamoring to join the Overlord’s guard, costing Old Liu quite some effort to settle down.

The combat ratio of the Golden Dwarves is very dark humor; this time, the Summer Palace Guard absorbed forty Dwarf Soldiers and two hundred thirty-six Dwarf Mages.

Two hundred thirty-six Dwarf Mages! It is estimated that even filtering through all the Dwarf clans in Aegean wouldn’t gather so many Mages.

Liu is too poor, if he had a few million more Gold Coins, he could at least arm a hundred more Dwarf Soldiers; even letting these Kings of the Hill smash the Storm Hammer, serving as half Mage and half Archer would be decent. Unfortunately, he had no money and could only stare blankly.

No matter what, the Fei City Mage Corps was finally officially established, which also counted as resolving one of Old Liu’s concerns.

This Mage Corps might also be the largest in the Bimon Kingdom in nearly three thousand years, incorporating Illusionists among them, with the newly arrived Great Magician Beckham appointed as the first corps leader, all wearing Leed badges and genuine leather Mage robes.

On his first day in office, this handsome new corps leader was so shocked by the Overlord handing out Ultra-Order Magic Crystals with a basket that he couldn’t speak for a long while. Seeing the boss stuffing the best Fire Elemental amplifier, the Hell Dragon Crystal, into his hands, the corps leader fainted on the spot.

Currently, the Fei City Priests Corps cannot be formed yet, which is the most troublesome issue for Liu. Helen is currently teaching and already scouting for suitable and loyal candidates, but it’s definitely not easy to make a decision in the short term.

As long as the issue of priests is unresolved, Liu can’t sleep peacefully. Currently, Fei Cold Jade’s Phantom Beast Base Dragons number sixteen, and the agreement with Dorott Duchy’s Tiger Mercenary Office has been signed, but the twenty-seven Base Dragons not yet in hand have basically started forming a quite terrifying fledgling Phantom Beast group. However, according to feedback from the Dorott office, the recent rush to acquire Base Dragons has gradually shown a downturn. Previously signing one per day, now essentially no one even asks.

The main reason might be that Base Dragons are mostly bred by human regular armies. If the army were to sell all these extraordinarily strong carry-on beasts, their logistical support would definitely be troubled—finding a substitute for a Base Dragon, a beast as strong and temperate as it is, would truly be impossible. It’s also likely that the human armies, being state machinery, if they rashly sell all the Base Dragons for Gold Coins, it would be too conspicuous and eye-catching; those commanding the army might not have the courage.

Hearing this news, Liu had an ominous premonition; he estimated that his original plan to purchase one hundred Base Dragons may not be achievable. If this were truly the case, pairing these beasts with warriors to form a Phantom Beast air cavalry would be too wasteful; ultimately, efforts would still need to be put into the priests, as only the beasts commanded by priests can unleash their full combat potential.

Including the Babylon Cannon and Mechanical Gao Cen currently in production, Liu is very satisfied with Fei Cold Jade’s strength.

Thinking back to when he first brought the Mastiff People and Panda Warriors to this desolate wasteland where birds don’t even poop, and now, Liu feels like it’s a completely different world.

"Next step, secure Lusen City’s War Ancient Tree and the aerial platforms!" Standing on the high platform in front of the Overlord’s Hall, Liu waved fiercely at his wolf-like Summer Palace Warriors.

I took my wife to the checkup at noon, and wrote this Chapter in the afternoon after coming back. After posting this Chapter, I’ll continue writing, though it might be late.

Also, after reading the comment from "Brother of Heaven and Earth Magic," I’m profoundly moved. You’re an old reader, if I can’t even take your advice, then I’ve truly lived in vain. However, what can I say? I still think it’s no big deal for Guoguo to learn from Old Liu and use simple and rough methods to deal with a very arrogant and conceited mother dragon.

In my own thinking, Guoguo is wiser and more insightful than any super-level Warcraft among the beast clans. It’s indeed worthy of any super-level Warcraft.

As for the mating standards of the Warcraft, let’s not talk about it now.

There’s inevitability within coincidence, like father, like son.

Guoguo doesn’t talk; this is the response I make for it.
