Chapter 1372 - 389: Fairy Dragon Lich?

Chapter 1372: Chapter 389: Fairy Dragon Lich?

Now that the great task was accomplished, there was no need to keep up the cool facade. The four-driven Golden Dragon chariot stopped its idle circling in the sky and landed gracefully and safely within Lotus Petal Valley, kicking up a great cloud of dust.

The four Phantom Beast Golden Dragons were indeed a bit clumsy. After landing, they charged headfirst for a while, and incredibly smashed a statue-like pale white Giant Dragon skeleton to pieces, with bones and scaffolding flying about like hornets disturbed from their nest.

Six undead Giant Dragons closed their eyes in pain.

"Shh!" Lich Liu tightened the golden chains, and solely through his own strength, painfully forced the four Golden Giant Dragons to straighten their heads and obediently stop.

That was close! Only ten steps away from the black stone altar in the center of the Valley, the huge tremor had already caused the Vermilion Fruit medicine plant, which grew from the Dragon Bone’s eye sockets and resembled red ginseng, to quiver oddly. Had they collided again, the altar would undoubtedly have been trampled into powder.

The divine power of the Dragon Envoy fell into the eyes of the undead Giant Dragons, causing another bout of undeniable surprise. Even the "Heavy Note Dancer" Beamon Trapadoni of yesteryear, who shocked the world with his combat prowess, could not help but gasp in terror. To pull four dragons, and not just any dragons, but the Dragon Clan’s largest Golden Giant Dragons - this strength displayed by the Beamon was a bit too "startling!"

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Lich Liu performed a beautiful aerial cartwheel against the carriage wall and landed steadily in this mysterious burial ground of the Dragon Clan. He began to swing his pearl-encrusted whip, ready to lash at the four clumsy Phantom Beasts, but then he unhappily abandoned the idea.

Once the Base Dragons, which were Phantom Beasts, got whipped, they would instinctively activate their defensive Magic Power "Golden Skin Technique." And since Golden Giant Dragons were of the Electric Elemental type, wouldn’t it be a dead giveaway if Metal Magic appeared? Magic Power fluctuations could be faked, but magic forms can’t fool anyone!

Lich Liu pretended to be very satisfied as he surveyed the area, even touching the towering Dragon Bones nearby, with a look of triumph.

The six undead Giant Dragons stood by, as docile as domestic cats.

"Let’s hurry up, my schedule is tight!" Lich Liu declared with unparalleled authority, "You six, quickly enter the black twilight space! In the darkness beyond, I’ve already heard the urgent call of the Dragon God!"

"Dragon Envoy..." Lich Trapadoni faintly felt that something was amiss, yet he couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was. Seeing the Divine Envoy’s urgency, he involuntarily shivered in his rotten skeletal frame and stretched out his claw before hesitating.

Lich Liu wasn’t about to let this Dragon Lich express any opinions. He gracefully tilted his head towards the two kings of the Hill, and fiercely waved his fingers at the six undead Giant Dragons.

"Dragon Envoy!" the Dragon Lich nodded to Lich Liu, "I..."

"Right, I almost forgot! What about the treasures you guys normally scrounge up?" Lich Liu suddenly slapped his head, his eyes gleaming as he scanned the six undead Giant Dragons. His words also conveniently interrupted Lich Trapadoni’s question——this was a crucial moment. If the Dragon Lich asked more questions, the old rogue Liu wasn’t sure he could maintain his cover, so he had to take control of the conversation.

"Dragon Envoy! As the life of a Giant Dragon nears its end, it will voluntarily destroy its own collection... Don’t you even know this custom of the Dragon Clan?" The feeling that something was wrong intensified for Lich Trapadoni, who glanced sideways at the two Dwarfs jumping out of the carriage; the Dwarfs immediately froze, exchanging subtle glances.

"So you’re saying there’s no treasure left, huh?" Lich Liu almost wished he could kick himself, yet his mind worked fast, and he let out a sly chuckle, "I was just testing you for any dishonesty, it seems you reptiles are quite well-behaved, and that’s commendable."

"Even the powerful Giant Dragons cannot accurately predict if they will become undead after death, so naturally, we wouldn’t be dishonorable," Lich Trapadoni first fell silent then also laughed, "Dragon Envoy, you’re worrying too much."

"Alright!" Lich Liu gestured to the two kings of the Hill with a nod of his lips, feeling a wave of relief in his heart, "Stop the chatter, six Giant Dragons, quickly enter my black twilight space! Time waits for no one!"

"Wait a moment, Dragon Envoy!" Lich Trapadoni flapped his broken wings, dispersing the black mist that intermittently emerged from his body, "The task of relocating bones is significant, and I still need to notify the highest existence. Could you allow your servants to slow down in moving the Giant Dragon remains?"

"The highest existence?" Lich Liu narrowed his eyes and took a closer look at the Dragon Lich, truly inhaling a breath of cold air! Could it be that in this cemetery of dragons there lies a Dragon Clan undead presence even more formidable than the Dragon Lich?

"Ceremonies cannot be abolished, please wait!" The Dragon Lich nodded politely, spread his huge, ten-meter long dark flesh wings, unleashing a gale-like force, and suddenly soared into the air, wrapped in a dark black mist, heading straight for a nearby dark and rugged mountain peak.

"Other than the Dragon Lich, is there really another highest existence in the Dragon’s graveyard?" Lich Liu rolled his eyes at the remaining five undead Giant Dragons as he watched Lich Trapadoni fly away.

"Yes." The five undead Giant Dragons nodded in unison.

"Can’t fathom what kind of nonsense they’re up to! Trapadoni has business to attend to, why haven’t you five entered the black twilight space yet?" A surge of joy in Lich Liu’s heart, yet his face remained as stern as stone, "Do I have to beg you to enter?"
