Having previously encountered a statue of the Komodo War Behemoth in the temple during his trial, Liu was no stranger to the beast’s imposing reputation.

In the most prosperous era of the ancient Bimon Kingdom, the Buer Tribe of Tauren had once hatched the eggs of wild Komodo War Behemoths as exclusive magical pets for their shamans.

Although the Komodo War Behemoth is normally sluggish, it can sprint short distances rapidly.

It has a terrifyingly corrosive acid in its stomach, which can digest almost anything it consumes as food, even stones.

Though the fearsome beast is generally non-aggressive, it can become a formidable enemy when provoked or obstructed while feeding.

However, following the Battle of Heigar, the method of hatching and training the War Behemoths has been lost to the Beamon people.

Similarly, humans have lost the ability to breed and ride Gryphons, leading to their extinction after the same battle.

Upon hearing Robert’s shout, Liu turned around and ran.

His hands had gone numb in the recent combat against the Star-tailed turtle.

He realized he was ill-suited to contend with the colossal War Behemoth, seeing that his inheritance from the celestial dragon only entailed a curse rather than passing on its full power.

Liu hadn’t become naive enough to confront it head-on.

The pandas, like a swarm of bees, rushed over to assist him.

Their twofold spears were at the ready, but they dared not to throw them at the oversized War Behemoth, fearing they might enrage it.

The clever Helen had already dispelled the berserk effect of Battle Cleansing Song with Spirit Communication Song.

She was worried that the Rabid Molosser Warriors and the Wolf Riders, lacking their senses, would rush forward to meet their death.

The Komodo War Behemoth swayed over to the unmoving Star-tailed turtle.

It largely ignored the Beamon and halflings who were trembling in the distance and started to lick the turtle with its huge tongue, flipping the giant model over.

With a “crack” sound, its razor-sharp teeth bit off a leg of the turtle, methodically masticating it.

The rough scales on the turtle’s thigh and the giant beast’s teeth produced a series of ear-piercing noises.

“We’re doomed…we’re doomed…” The halfling elder’s face turned ashen, his doll-like face gloomy and bitter.

“Our Wine Lily…our home…with this War Behemoth around, what hope do we have?”

“This War Behemoth is too colossal!

Even with the assistance of the Subdragon Shaman, it’s questionable if we can drive it away.” Robert, the Mastiff person, was demoralized.

He found himself in a vexing position after believing that summoning two War Shamans would easily complete their task.

The Star-tailed turtle they’d only killed after stumbling through a fight, with a precious crystal nucleus, was now being devoured by a surprise Komodo War Behemoth.

It was unwise to disturb the War Behemoth while it was eating, or its anger could destroy everything in the forest.

“Obischillaci!

My turtle shell and crystal nucleus!” Liu was seething, surrounded by breathless Mastiff People.

The pandas were all watching General Gude, who himself was watching his boss.

They wanted to attack, but they were unsure.

The Wolf Riders looked perplexedly at Knight Robert; attacking such a mighty beast was daunting.

Even if they had an entire squad of Wolf Cavalry, they were unsure if it would be enough to challenge the beast.

Liu hesitated.

He shoved his Wolf Fang Club into the ground and began mechanically twisting the two blood jade rings on his thumb.

Although the Golden Figures were powerful, their alleged strength was too shocking.

Liu didn’t intend to let many others know about this subconsciously.

“Richard…..” Ning Yu placed her small hand on his and decisively shook her head.

“The Golden Figures have been through thousands of years of fighting and are now covered with scars.

This beast must be incredibly strong; we shouldn’t let our ancestors’ Golden Figures be wasted recklessly.” Ning Yu leaned over and whispered in Liu’s ear, “Let me give it a try first.”

Liu bit down on a cigar in his mouth and nodded slightly in agreement.

With an odd flash of glowing ripple over Ning Yu’s moving lips, another massive Komodo War Behemoth, resembling a small mountain, appeared in the middle of the Wine Lily field amidst gasps of shock from the crowd.

The halflings were on the brink of a nervous breakdown.

Who could hold their nerve with the appearance of two monster beasts of such caliber near their homes?

Karu, the ogre, huddled at the back of the crowd.

Seeing two terrifying behemoths suddenly appear caused his legs to cramp, almost making him stumble.

He shuffled his feet, preparing to flee.

Bravery is not a trait of the Ogre Tribe when facing terrifying creatures like these.

With two voracious Komodo War Behemoths present, even a land dragon would flee in terror.
