Chapter 1251: Chapter 344: Gathering of Generals_4

"Power and greatness are not inherently equal," Master Puskas said contently, stroking Liu’s face. "Child, you have finally grown up!"

"This desert journey has made me understand the advice you once gave me," Liu sighed deeply, reminiscing, "Engaging in pointless disputes with ordinary people is indeed not the behavior of a strong person. The battle should be fought fiercely against an equal! Sadly, it wasn’t until Prince Richard died on the battlefield that I suddenly grasped this truth."

"Setbacks and experiences have finally taught our young man a bit of philosophy on life. Giants Dragons do not waste words with parrots, and elephants will never provoke an ant." Master Puskas nodded, taking Liu’s hand and introducing him to the two white-bearded mages beside him. "Richard, these are the two Great Magicians from the Aegean Continent I mentioned to you, ’King of Alchemy’ Master Aymar and ’Mage Closest to Gods’ Master Stefano!"

"God of War above!" Liu nearly bit his tongue in awe. These were the renowned national mages from the Pompeii Empire and the Saint Francisco Empire!

"Richard, I’ve seen some of the magical equipment from your lands, and to be frank, it is utterly absurd! You use the most primitive methods even for forging excellent magical metals like adamantine, which has greatly angered me as an Alchemist. You’re treating gems like marbles!" Master Aymar, dressed in a golden robe and a pointed hat, was a burly man with eyes as round as fish bladders.

"Yes, yes!" Liu’s eyes drifted teasingly toward Ruona, and the Fairy Dragon’s face turned as red as the dragon scale on her forehead.

"No wonder my least promising apprentice Otigha follows you devotedly, and even miraculously broke through his limitations and ascended a level, Your Highness Richard. As Otigha’s mentor, it is an honor to meet you," Master Stefano, exuding the noble demeanor of a court mage, said with his meticulously combed silver hair and aristocratic aura.

"Master Stefano, please don’t overpraise me!" Liu laughed. "Otigha was already an excellent Fire Mage, it’s rather I who is inadequate."

"No matter what, with Otigha’s strength, you shouldn’t have allowed him to use a staff inlaid with the magic crystals of the Six-winged Flame Demon and the Flame Emperor... Ah... You, as his boss..." Master Stefano said with a wry smile, shaking his head and gently patting Liu’s shoulder.

"Feicui is a small place. How could two esteemed masters be willing to visit?" Liu asked Master Puskas a bit nervously.

"The war between Pompeii and Saint Francisco, thanks to the efforts of the Holy Vatican, has shifted from imminent outbreak to standoff negotiations. I’m acquainted with both masters, and after explaining the critical issues to them, they agreed to accompany me to Feicui to relax. Both sides have agreed that if they fight again, it will only be conventional warfare without involving mages," Master Puskas sighed. "It’s embarrassing, us humans undermining each other before the arrival of the Demon Clan. It’s truly unwise."

"It’s one thing to honor you, our teacher, but another to seek a celebratory drink! I truly can’t admire your prophetic abilities enough now!" Master Stefano chuckled.

"The capabilities of our teacher are indeed beyond our imagination," Master Aymar, the King of Alchemy, expressed with a look of a humble disciple admiring an all-knowing mentor.

"Celebratory drink?" Liu was puzzled, not knowing what this referred to.

"Richard, when you return, there is another great piece of news waiting for you, but there’s no need to rush asking about it now," Ning Yu said with a beaming smile while looking at old Liu.

"Oh?" Liu wondered in curiosity. What kind of joyous occasion in Feicui could attract two supreme mages from Pompeii and Saint Francisco?

Could it be the breeding of the Larza Beasts? Liu speculated maliciously.

Lampard and Gaxia also politely greeted Liu with an introductory salute.

"I’m here to help, just say the word," Lampard said with a restrained smile. "Rescuing a damsel in distress is the sworn duty of any true knight."

"I surely won’t keep you idle, my old friend," Liu responded gratefully with a nod. "Next time I’m in need, I would rush through fire and water without hesitation!"

Golinny and Gortani, the sister flowers, stood behind their father, continuously making meaningful eye contact with Liu.

"Teacher, I’m most delighted that you could come," Liu said, pursing his lips as he walked straight up to the high priest of the Swan, first placing his hand over his chest in salute to Mourinho.

"After hearing about your predicament, Your Highness, father dropped everything and rushed to Emerald Green!" Prince Mari of the Elves boasted to Liu about the insider information he knew.

"Because you are the apprentice father is most proud of!" Gomes also said proudly.

Liu hung his head, unsure of what to say.

"Prince Richard, you needn’t feel moved! I simply do not wish to see a fine Shaman priest of the kingdom die in vain. If it were any other priest, I would have done the same!" Mourinho’s voice was cold, seemingly devoid of any emotion. "This has nothing to do with whether or not we come from the same lineage."

He’s still exactly the same as before. Liu was both amused and a bit touched.

"Can we start now, Your Highness?" Prince Kahn, with a red band tied around his forehead, said impatiently. "I’ve been waiting for this day so anxiously, I’m about to explode! The warriors have already gathered in Emerald Green, just awaiting your command!"

"First, let’s take care of the guards outside the prison; we can’t have all our warriors showing up in this dungeon, right? I’ve also befriended two Giants. We can’t just leave them here to starve, can we?" Liu smiled at Prince Kahn. "Things need to be done one at a time! I’ve drawn up a plan these past few days. Kalimantan is a big bun; I need to break it apart slowly!"

"King Grecke Sal is now on his way to Emerald Green, and I hope you can surprise His Majesty!" Prince Lionheart pondered slightly before still telling Liu the truth. "Sorry, Your Highness, I had to inform His Majesty. It’s like using a carrot to carve a seal to mobilize the army—I had to act first and report later!"

"Don’t worry, even if it were the God of War himself here, I’d proceed as planned!" Liu took the equipment handed to him by Guoguo, donning each piece, and chuckled, "Ladies and gentlemen, the show begins!"
