He swept his gaze from south to north, from the ground to the sky, surveying the battlefield in all directions. The Mulan aerial cavalry numbered at most two hundred fifty, while the Newton air cavaliers were nearly half a legion strong. Liu Shock had every reason to believe these Vulture People had no second chance of survival if they didn’t flee—Newton air cavaliers had twelve Mirror Cannons, each embedded with more than twenty Morning Star Gems, enough for one cannon per Vulture Person.

During the time the Newton Bimon warriors were surveying the ancient city ruins, the Bimon army had advanced about fifteen miles and now had firmly established their foothold. Meanwhile, the Mulan army had finished assembling but stood still like statues, seemingly indecisive, leaving everyone guessing their intentions.
