Chapter 1085: Chapter 282 Beamon Giant Beast Sacrifice
All the flying giant beasts of the wedding entourage folded their wings and quietly squatted on the vast desert, their formation composed of dozens of giant Two-Headed Chimeras, was extremely daunting.
Helen, with Duncan’s support, gently leapt down from the saddle of a Two-Headed Chimera, while Richard looked at her stupefied, then glanced at Moer, who was still riding on the Gabriel Demon Butterfly, completely puzzled.
From Helen’s tone, it seemed that a remarkable Shaman had emerged from the Hegemonic Singing Family. What kind of Shaman could it be? Could it be even more surprising than the thrice-cherished Shaman Qian Qian? The more Richard thought about it, the more excited he became. Could it be that Qian Qian’s uncle’s family possessed a super-level Warcraft unique to the desert?
"Richard, allow me to formally introduce you to the family of Saintess Qian Qian’s uncle; like Lord Mourinho, they too are a family with three Shamans," Helen said as she handed the golden staff and the Ancient Bronze Edition of the "Ceremonial Code" to Duncan beside her, took a deep breath, and surprisingly removed the Peacock Feather crown from her head first, bowing and making a gesture to lead the way.
"Salute to the Polantu Shaman!" As Antelope Warrior Duncan roared, all the Chimera Cavalry simultaneously raised their Metal Totem Poles, and three modestly dressed figures timidly appeared from behind the tall Antelope Warriors.
"Damn!" Richard immediately guessed what kind of Shaman had emerged from Qian Qian’s uncle’s family.
Beamon Giant Beast Shaman!
"Polantu" means "our Giant Beast" in the ancient Beamon language, and on the entire Aegean Continent, the only Magical Beast worthy of this name is the Beamon Giant Beast.
Originally known as the Golden Giant Beast, it was during the final battles of the great war between gods and demons that the "Warrior Knights" of Beamon could completely annihilate the "Death Knights" of the Demon Clan, thanks to the charge led by two Golden Giant Beast Knights; and due to this unparalleled merit, the Golden Giant Beast was bestowed with the glorious title "Polantu" — "our Giant Beast" by the whole Bimon Kingdom.
Ironically, although the Beamon Giant Beasts are extremely rare, they are not actually considered high-level Warcrafts—being a Metal-type Warcraft, its only ability is "Metal Solidification," and it lacks the ability to fly. "Metal Solidification" is an auxiliary type of magic, similar to the Base Dragon’s "Enhanced Stone Skin Technique," and aside from providing self-protection, this magic has no offensive capabilities. From this perspective, classifying the Beamon Giant Beast as a low-level Warcraft would not be too harsh—even the Sub-dragon level Base Dragon, due to its poor magical abilities, is merely used to drag heavy loads in human armies.
However, the Beamon Giant Beast is different; it is incredibly strong, has a volatile temper, and can walk upright like a bear. Its ten-meter-tall massive body and hundred-inch long sharp claws, after being enhanced by "Metal Solidification," make even the Giant Dragons wary.
In wars on the Aegean Continent, decisive battles are always on the ground, not in the sky—after all, most of the intelligent races cannot fly. Given this backdrop, it’s not surprising at all that the Golden Giant Beast was given the honorable title of "Polantu" rather than the Giant Dragon, Phoenix, or Unicorn—any super-level Warcraft in terms of impact power in ground battles might hardly compare to even a fraction of a Beamon Giant Beast.
"Which one of you is the Beamon Giant Beast Shaman?" Richard asked, looking at the three Pheasant people, each cradling a pearl seven-string harp, who had none of the reservation of a Shaman of Divine Songs; his voice was so urgent that it even altered in tone: "Who? Who? Who is it? Speak quickly!"
"It’s me, Your Excellency, Richard," the one among them, an aged man of over fifty, stepped forward and bowed deeply to Richard.
"Your Excellency, this is my uncle, Regar," said Qian Qian, stepping forward to introduce them to Richard one by one, "this is my aunt Sophia, and this is my cousin Moge."
As Qian Qian made the introductions, the other elderly woman and the young man in his twenties also bowed deeply to Richard.
These three Chekins all possessed colorful long hair, magnificent wings, and exceptional appearances. Although their clothes were a bit shabby, made of self-woven plant fibers, they had an innate elegance that was neither humble nor haughty. The antique bronze Medusa Badges on their chests were the source of their confidence.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Shaman Richard of Divine Songs, the Overlord of Ficolored Jade, Baron of the Kingdom," Richard greeted, tapping his porcupine leather crown, and gave a slight nod to the three Chekins, pausing briefly when his eyes landed on the scar behind the ear of Qian Qian’s cousin Moge—an obvious memento from when the Hegemonic Singing Family descendants were attacked by desert bandits last year.
"To meet the Earthwalker of the War God is the greatest honor for all Beamon who adhere to the Shaman beliefs," Regar started to say, preparing to lead his wife and son in prostrating before the Shaman of Divine Songs. Richard quickly stepped forward and pulled them up.
"Richard, the Hegemonic Singing Family is truly amazing! Both elders Regar and Sophia are definitely at the level of Great Shaman Wei An, and Moge’s level has already reached that of Scepter Shaman. I was so enthralled while discussing the War Songs with them! Do you know how astonishing their new type of War Song is?" Helen excitedly grabbed Richard’s arm, "By the War God! The ’Fifth Line Score’ is simply the greatest blessing from Kampas!"
