Chapter 1065: Chapter 274 Emerald Green Actual Combat Drill_3
As a clergy of Zoroastrianism, an Imam has the option to give up if unable to resist, so Monastic Imam Montasha wisely chose to yield.
Five relatively high-ranking Imams were still barely holding on; not that they didn’t want to retreat, but they were suppressed to the extent they couldn’t. The opponent’s flying axes and swift magic forced them almost to spit blood as they parried. Without the protection of two shield guards, these five Imams would have perished long ago; the enemy was simply too powerful, not only fighting with ease but also managing to clear the Mulan warriors off the mud wall!
The awkward plight of the Imams was quickly ended when the Orephin cavalry skimming over their heads threw Gurkha curved blades with the inertia of their flight, creating a dense rain of blades. The date palm wood tower groaned massively as it was sliced into a sky full of sawdust and blood rain by countless blades.
Right before dying, one Imam almost desperately shot a "Flaming Dagger," which didn’t even get close to an Orephin cavalryman’s body before it vanished into nothingness!
Magic Immunity!?
"Too terrifying! No one can withstand such Orephin cavalry!" The Monastic Imam who narrowly escaped death murmured as he gazed at the sky, somewhat puzzled why even the ordinary soldiers of the opponent could so easily disregard the Imam’s magic, weren’t Madaviqiya supposed to be ghostly Imams? By level, shouldn’t they be comparable to an Aegean intermediate Mage?
Surrounded from all sides, the Mulan soldiers finally began an organized fight, though this battle occurred under compulsory circumstances; this time, the battleground shifted from behind the mud wall to a real ground-level melee.
Five hundred Antelope Warriors wielding Metal Totem Poles opened a massive bloodbath among the Mulan soldiers. In front of three-meter-long Metal Totem Poles, no Uzi Treasure Blade effective enough to slice through iron seemed to work; against such weapons, whether facing flesh or steel, there was only one result, shattering!
Seeing blood, all the Antelope Warriors had entered a semi-berserk state; this frenzied state let them display their traditional "gladiatorial skills." Charging with Metal Totem Poles, the Antelope Warriors pierced through the soon-to-collapse crowd, much like a plowshare under fertile ground rolling up swathes of frost-hardened soil.
The mud wall was now covered with Beamon warriors; at every burst section, massive Orephin warriors swung their wolf-toothed war hammers, smashing the camels behind the wall into the dust with their mallets. Hit by their hammers, anyone would turn into a small bird—capable of flight.
At this point, Ali Dai had no leisure to give out well-structured commands; he and two hundred of the best swordsmen from his royal tent plunged into the breach, surrounded by the sounds of intense fighting, blades cutting through the air, and blood and flesh flying everywhere. Golden Blade Mojie had become just another soldier, using his sharp swordsmanship to gain the last breath of survival time; as the elite Mulan swordsmen, only the area they held behind the entire mud wall platform hadn’t been breached yet.
A group with an aura of grim determination smashed through the mud wall before the royal tent warriors, not with angry shouts or near-mad swings of their weapons, but instead as tall warriors in Hedgehog-like heavy armor agilely leapt onto the platform using camel humps as steps.
The camels’ screams from their broken spines still lingered when four muffled thuds and the "crack" of blades chopping flesh and bone sounded!
In an instant, just an instant, four of the best Silver Daggers from the royal camp, the Mojies, were struck down by a towering man with a long nose, standing five meters tall, wielding a blade! Ali Dai’s eyes twitched uncontrollably; he could hardly believe that there existed anyone in the world who could wield a blade faster and more skillfully than a Mojie of Mulan!
The hulking man’s battle blade was terrifying, not only in its astonishing length but also in its aggressive curve. The double blades in his hands were even swifter than lightning and heavier than thunder! Shalhub, who had received just one stab in the belly from him, was one of the finest blade wielders of Mulan. When he fell in front of Ali Dai, his belly had a cut that was nearly severed!
A Mojie of Mulan with eyes reddened by vengeance charged forward only to be pierced through the hard skull by two arrows, shot from nowhere on the spot.
The Mojies in the royal tent were beginning to feel desperate.
Not far away, behind a breached earth wall, five blade wielders of Mulan who had still been fiercely combating the Piegel warriors, suddenly turned in terror and leaped down from the platform, as if they had spotted a monstrous beast about to emerge.
Almost simultaneously, two massive Antelope Cavalries elegantly leaped in through the gap in the earth wall. These Antelopes, covered in iron armor and adorned with a spiral horn on their foreheads, used their powerful momentum to pierce the chests of two Mulan warriors in the air from back to front with the sharp horns, hanging the men like catfishes on a spear. Meanwhile, two more Mulan warriors, nearly reaching the ground, were brutally smashed into two parts by a heavy Metal Totem Pole, like straws broken by a farm woman igniting her stove.
After landing, the two Antelope Cavaliers slowly turned around, revealing to all Mojies that these two Antelope riders were linked with an iron chain, fixed tightly. At that moment on the glaring iron chain hung a Mojie, clutching his chest tightly, with little air left in his lungs and his face turned purple from suffocation.
With a clank of hard steel colliding, the two Antelope Riders controlled their mounts to move apart, tensioning the iron chain between them and also realigning the angle of the spiral horns, slightly tilted due to the bodies hanging on them.
The Mojie caught between the iron chains, with the tug from both sides, had all his bones crack loudly, and a copious amount of dark purple blood gushed from his mouth, nose, and eyes; in an instant, he was transformed into a grasshopper, a grasshopper tightly bound around the chest with thread.
"Kill!" In that moment, all Mojies of Mulan, like all fiery desert men, brandished their curved blades. Under the leadership of the Golden Mojie, Ali Dai, they charged toward their invincible enemies.
