Chapter 171: Chapter 103 Silver Mist Dual Swords, Elegant Ice Dragon, Battle Level 2

"Boom!"

Flames surged to the ground, charring a large area completely, even affecting the Rune Formation trapping the Brain-eating Flower nearby.

Despite the Brain-eating Flower violently attacking within the formation for so long without triggering any response, now it quaked shakily with just the residual impact from the Spell’s flames.

"Cough cough—"

Bald Horgan emerged from the aftermath covered in dust and dirt, his Silver Robe dulled and exhibiting large patches of charred fabric.

He appeared unharmed but still opted to concede defeat with a grimace.

It was likely that the Ponytail Witch in the First Magic Ring had held back her power during the battle, otherwise, a direct hit from that terrifying Spell of flames would have left Horgen more than just disheveled; he might have been downed entirely.

Defeat in the very first battle of the Second Magic Ring left everyone, including Viren, with grim expressions.

But there was nothing that could be done, no one expected that the rather ordinary-looking Ponytail Witch in the First Magic Ring would possess a Second-tier Magic Tool that could be activated successfully by a Level 1 Wizard, its power so formidable.

Even if Viren were to fight, he would likely have to admit defeat, albeit in a less embarrassing manner.

The third match was soon to pit the Second Magic Ring against the Third Magic Ring, and Viren’s group gathered to quietly discuss strategies.

Everyone ignored Ronan, who was now nearly fixated on the Ponytail Witch who had just left the field.

Beneath his Magic Robe, Ronan held a fragment of the Mirror Magic Tool he had acquired during his Apprenticeship, gently tracing the latter’s patterns.

He was certain that the Magic Artifact Fragment in his hands and the Ponytail Witch’s Mirror Magic Tool were of the same model, possessing identical functions.

Except his was merely a fragment, and she held a complete Tool.

"Matching Magic Tools, they must come from the same place... the Mirror, is it from the Mirror Court?"

Ronan swiftly flipped the broken mirror piece between his fingers, a strong curiosity and desire for exploration arising in his heart.

He had always been fascinated by the runes within the broken mirror tool; though fragmented, it still functioned, the only one among all the runes he had observed.

Ronan took a long, deep look at the Ponytail Witch, memorizing every detail of her face and aura, the fragment in his hand disappeared, and he regained his composure.

"I’ll go."

By then, Viren’s side had also made a decision, prepared to personally enter the fray.

They had the fewest numbers among the three factions present and were the weakest in terms of power. Their chances of victory were already slim and their morale could plummet entirely if not handled well.

Viren decided to first secure a victory without thinking further.

The Third Magic Ring quickly nominated their contender, but purely based on aura, he was no match for Viren, making one wonder if it was also a strategy of sending a weaker participant.

Just as Viren and the Wizard from the Third Magic Ring were about to start...

Suddenly...

"Whoosh—"

A gust of wind arose on the open ground, a colossal spiritual power, surpassing all present, suddenly descended.

The air around seemed to thicken instantly, making it difficult to breathe even for the many Late Stage Level 1 Wizards.

A figure appeared slowly in mid-air.

A man in his forties, with dark skin, wore a deep blue Magic Robe with delicate silver patterns embroidered on the collar, holding a beautifully carved metallic magic wand...

Based on appearance alone, he was an extremely ordinary-looking middle-aged man, even slightly balding with sparse gray hair.

However, the aura he exuded was nothing short of extraordinary.

The immense and pure spiritual power made the air around him "freeze," as if invisible stones were slowly being pressed down from mid-air.

He resembled a miniature sun at its zenith, radiating light around, scorching heatwaves to everyone below.

"Level 2 Wizard!"

This abruptly appearing Level 2 Wizard ignored everyone on the field, his gaze was fixed on the Brain-eating Flower enclosed in the wizards’ formation.

His eyes gleamed slightly without a visible casting of any Spell, and the solid crystal-like Rune Formation shattered with a thunderous crash.

"This Brain-eating Flower belongs to me.

I just happen to need Brain-eating Flower juice to mix a Magic Potion..."

The Level 2 Wizard spoke in a casual tone, but his words carried an unmistakable air of not consulting with any of the Level 1 Wizards below, merely making a straightforward announcement.

The wizards from all three parties wore particularly unpleasant expressions.

The three factions had been battling over the ownership of the Brain-eating Flower and had now been abruptly informed they were all ’out’, no one would accept this willingly.

But the opponent was a Level 2 Wizard.

Faced with a huge gap in strength, reluctant as they were, they would have to swallow this bitter pill.

"Didn’t you hear what I said?"

The voice of the Level 2 Wizard in the sky turned icy cold suddenly, his fearsome spiritual power rippled like tidal waves, pressing down from the sky.

Everyone felt an oppressive force, suffocating them. Even the Brain-eating Flower, now free from the confines of the Rune Formation, retracted all its vines, shrinking like a frightened animal, shivering intensely.

"We... leave."
