Chapter 146: Chapter 92: Level 1 Magic Domain Resonance, The Legend of the Bloodline Wizard
Ronan left Magic Ring City with Benny and entered the vast Primitive Forest.
Following the direction west of the forest, after about half an hour, the two turned into a secluded and tranquil valley.
A small waterfall cascaded down from the cliff above, splashing mist all over.
Ronan saw Benny, who was leading the way, flash behind the waterfall, vanishing in the blink of an eye. When he followed, he saw only a bare rock wall.
Faint vibrations of Energy Particles emanated from behind the rock wall. Ronan reached out his hand to try, and to his surprise, the rough, moss-covered rock wall melted away like water. Then, a strong suction force emanated from behind the wall, and he staggeringly stepped inside.
"Secret Realm Space?"
As light reappeared before Ronan’s eyes, a whole new world unfolded before him. How could he not realize he had entered some Secret Realm Space?
It was similar to the "Corpse Garden" he had entered before, the test Space for the Magic Ring entry-level examination.
The place Benny had brought him into was also a Mini Secret Realm Space.
Oh no, it should probably only be considered "micro-sized".
This Secret Realm Space before him, he estimated, wasn’t even as large as a restroom in the "Corpse Garden".
Ronan estimated the entire Secret Realm Space to be just over a thousand square meters in area.
Half of the place had been turned into a nursery and a Magic Medicine Garden, but there were only a sparse few half-dead Magic Plants planted there.
One-third of the remaining half had been modified into a Magic Training Ground, another third appeared to be a laboratory. Ronan saw Potion tables, rune tables, Enchantment stations, dissection stations... even an iron Forging furnace and a semi-transparent, giant Alchemy Pot. The corner of the test area was piled with all sorts of rune waste, Magic Potion residue, and Magic Beast corpses, reeking to high heaven.
The last third was the living area, furnished with some simple metal furniture and a large number of books.
"In the early years when the relics of Mirror Court were initially uncovered, a large amount of spatial materials and Space Magic Tools flowed out...I created this Secret Realm Space with a small Space Energy Treasure Pearl. But due to long-term neglect in maintenance, this place is on the verge of collapse..."
Benny spoke as if he owned the place, walking over to the living area. He first took out the long wooden box with the ice coffin from his Waist Storage Bag, checked it carefully, then took off his blood-stained white shirt and began to heal his wounds with Potions.
Ronan, hearing Benny’s introduction, indeed saw some Rune Formation lines on the edge of the space, with obvious traces of repair in some places, and patches of blurred, frosted glass-like air. Ronan often saw such phenomena when "violently" opening other people’s Waist Storage Bags; it was a sign of Spatial Energy becoming unstable.
In short, this Mini Secret Realm Space was like a dilapidated old house that not only had "peeling walls" but also had its "internal plumbing" exposed, presenting a "shabby" aura.
It very much fit Benny’s currently destitute appearance.
"Mirror Court..."
Ronan pondered another term mentioned by Benny, and naturally associated it with the broken Mirror Magic Tool he had acquired during his apprenticeship at Hoddam.
"Mirror Court was once an Ancient Wizard Force in our region, known for its Mirror Magic and Space Magic inheritance, incredibly powerful..."
Benny, his torso bare, revealing a muscular body covered with scars, walked over to Ronan with two silver cups, "Later, as I’ve told you, they followed their instincts and all the wizards of Mirror Court left... You should understand."
Ronan nodded, accepting the silver cup offered by Benny.
The cup was filled with a purple-red liquid, exuding a light fruity wine fragrance. He held it in his hand but did not drink.
Ronan’s gaze swept over the distant Magic Medicine Garden and the various workstations: the Forging furnace, Alchemy Pot, casually remarking, "I didn’t expect your breadth of skills in secondary professions to be so extensive."
Benny took a sip from his cup and said calmly, "When you find you can no longer hold a sword steady, you’ve got to try picking up something else."
Ronan was deeply moved by Benny’s words, looking up at him.
To tell the truth, he was very curious about the story that had unfolded in Benny’s life, especially about how a "Third Ring" Genius could fall to his current state.
The old and new scars on his body seemed to tell that story silently.
Seeing the curiosity in Ronan’s eyes, Benny spoke indifferently: "It’s just soul decay syndrome, an uncontrollable slide in Strength, but I won’t die in the short term... Let’s talk about you instead."
Benny set down his cup, casually donned a clean, new shirt, and sat down in front of Ronan, holding the wooden box with the Holy Blood Tree Seed that Ronan had given to him.
"I don’t know much about that kid named Travis.
However, having a group of Late Level 1 Stage followers, the man himself is most likely at least a Third Ring Genius.
His interest in Magic Nightmare Tungsten Steel likely indicates that he is a wizard with Metal Attribute, also practicing Dark Magic..."
Ronan’s eyes flickered slightly, and he couldn’t help asking, "What exactly does ’Third Ring’ stand for? And does the Magic Ring allow wizards to practice Dark Magic?"
"The number of rings is a symbol of Strength and Talent.
