Bloodline of the Wizard
Chapter 137 - 88: Warmth and Coldness, [All-Purpose Magic Ring]

Chapter 137: Chapter 88: Warmth and Coldness, [All-Purpose Magic Ring]

Not only Basil, but the people around him were also stunned.

Especially the young wizard Fire Vulture, who had previously mocked Ronan. He now looked like a duck being choked, mouth open, uttering "uh-uh-ah-ah" without being able to speak a word.

No one knew better than him... the difficulty of this test.

The Terran Giant Beast, with a faint Ancient Rock Giant bloodline and injected with a Frenzy Potion, was ferociously terrifying beyond what anyone who hadn’t faced it could imagine.

And yet... it was killed in less than two minutes?!

By a mere Early Level 1 Stage Wizard?!

What the hell is the Power of Magic Domain?

What kind of Extraordinary Magic Domain Power allows an Early Level 1 Stage Wizard to seamlessly transcend two minor realms and promptly eliminate a Magic Beast whose strength nearly approaches Level 2?!

Fire Vulture’s mind was in chaos; he was already considering how he should apologize for his previous ignorant and foolish provocations.

...

Turpa, after venting his anger at Basil, turned and walked back where he came from.

His gaze involuntarily fell on the handsome young man near the small door, his bald head’s veins twitching slightly. Beyond the lingering shock, there was a profound sense of loss.

But his expression softened.

His anger would only target Basil. As for the "genius" who caused his direct loss, of course, he meant to make a good relationship...

"Uh..."

Just as Turpa intended to approach and say a few words to the young man, he noticed that the latter was slowly walking towards another person.

When his gaze landed on that person, the previously subsiding intense spiritual power burst forth like a volcanic eruption.

"Benny."

Turpa’s cold voice echoed in the room.

"You dare show up?"

"That’s not for you to worry about."

Benny tapped on his pipe, shaking his head and smiling, "You haven’t changed a bit, Turpa... still as foolish as before."

"You!"

Turpa’s face twisted slightly, quickly returning to a cold expression.

His gaze shifted back and forth between Ronan and Benny as if he suddenly understood something.

"No wonder... good, very good."

Turpa sneered continuously, "Benny, I truly hope to see this confident and fearless demeanor of yours inside."

With that, Turpa turned and left.

Benny’s smile faded slightly as he called out, "Aren’t you forgetting to leave something behind?"

Turpa paused his steps, swiftly tossing a shiny object back without looking.

Benny caught it effortlessly, tossed it to Ronan without a glance.

Ronan caught it and looked down to see a beautiful silver badge with a pattern of Magic Rings, and beneath the pattern was a small silver ring.

"Core Token, with this you can freely enter the Magic Rings."

Benny, puffing on his pipe, casually said, "Let’s go, I’ll show you around."

"Okay."

Ronan followed promptly, and the two quickly left the room, leaving Basil and his group, who were merely used as scapegoats.

Basil watched Ronan and Benny leave, his chest heaving violently.

It wasn’t about regret but a sense of inexplicable humiliation; the metallic scratch on his left cheek felt slightly hot.

However...

None of that mattered now.

Basil took a deep breath, his gaze flickering rapidly.

"Benny! So it was Benny!

No wonder he carried the ’Third Ring’ title but only possessed Late Level 1 Stage strength... I almost forgot there was such a person in the Seventh Magic Rings."

Basil slowly took out a Communication Stone from his Waist Storage Bag and spoke softly to the stone, "Remember Benny? The genius who was driven out of the Magic Rings jointly by everyone.

He’s back now, breaking his agreement with those people...

Isn’t Travis still offering a reward for the Demon Nightmare Tungsten Steel?

Tell him, Benny has what he wants...

And now, the timing couldn’t be any better..."

...

Benny talked about showing Ronan around the real Seventh Magic Rings.

Once Ronan followed him into the area officially meant for Magic Rings members, Benny said to let Ronan wander on his own, then directly left to handle his own affairs.

Ronan was rather speechless about Benny’s "irresponsibility", but he indeed had no duty to "lead the way" for him.

Their deal was considered complete after Ronan obtained the qualifications to be an Official member of the Magic Rings, and what remained was only what Ronan should contribute.

Standing in the vast square enveloped by the Rune Formation’s light screen, Ronan could nearly touch the towering Seventh Magic Rings Silver-white Tower right in front of him.

Below the tower, among various structures, Magic Rings Official members wandered back and forth.

Luckily, the Magic Robe Ronan wore was also of silver-gray, making him not too conspicuous among the streaks of silver robes.

Looking at everything before him, Ronan’s heart was filled with a sense of satisfaction and contentment, similar to when he had finally managed to enter Hoddam Academy, but much more intense.

Every step Ronan took was not easy; it seemed he was always overlooked by Lady Luck, yet fortunately... every target was eventually achieved.

Casually opening his character panel, Ronan saw a line of striking small words in his Skill Bar.
