Bloodline of the Wizard
Chapter 111 - 77: Silver Magic Ring, Beautiful Superior_2

Chapter 111: Chapter 77: Silver Magic Ring, Beautiful Superior_2

Like two miniature suns, their radiance bathed every place they touched.

"Second-level Wizard?"

Ronan’s eyes flickered. He was unclear, but this was definitely a powerful wizard at least ten times stronger than himself, and also stronger than Lola. It reminded him a little of the first time he had met Angelie.

But don’t forget, back then he was only an Apprentice, and now he had become an Official Wizard who had ventured into the Mist.

As the Rune Ship sailed away toward the direction of the Silver Tower, Ronan’s heart remained unsettled for a long time.

He turned his gaze back to the ground around him. There were quite a few people coming and going, only a few were wearing proper Wizard Robes; the majority dressed like ordinary mortals. Essentially, everyone was a wizard, most were Apprentices, and occasionally you could spot an Official Level 1 Wizard.

While Ronan was looking around, a young man dressed in a silver-gray short coat and black tight pants ran briskly straight toward him.

"Respected sir, is this your first time at the Magic Rings?"

He greeted Ronan cautiously, emitting the spiritual power fluctuations of a Level 7 Apprentice.

Ronan nodded slightly, "Yes."

Seeming to feel that Ronan was approachable, the young man breathed a sigh of relief, his courage growing slightly as he said: "If the sir needs a guide, I would be very pleased to serve you.

For only five Low-level Magic Stones, I can show you around the entire Seventh Ring City."

"Seventh Ring City... Is that the name of this place?"

"To be precise, this entire area belongs to the Seventh Magic Rings, beneath the glory of the Seventh Magic Ring’s Ring Master, corresponding to the seventh silver-white tower..."

the young man explained swiftly.

Ronan understood and then asked, "What’s your name?"

"Jacob. Sir, my name is Jacob. Weigilsi..."

Upon hearing this name, Ronan was struck with a moment of absence-mindedness, recalling a certain blond, chubby gossip-lover he had met back in the Hoddam Tree House District.

Ronan was lost in the brief memory and didn’t speak. The young Jacob stood by, also tense, wondering if he had said something wrong.

But soon, he heard Ronan speak.

"Then, could you help me find a place to stay... Jacob."

Upon locking eyes with Ronan’s tranquil lake-blue gaze, Jacob’s expression relaxed, a bright smile spreading across his face.

"I would be honored to serve you, respected sir."

...

The garden villa with a red roof, a lawn, statues, a golden fountain... and two fair-skinned pretty maids busying themselves with something...

Ronan stood at the roadside, squinting up at the scene on a floating island in the sky.

"Sir."

A voice came from behind.

Ronan retracted his gaze, the villa’s garden and maids quickly receding as he turned, seeing Jacob standing at the door of a small inn.

Blueberry Inn.

The sign was inlaid with some decorative luminous crystals, a pity that several of the crystals were cracked, their dull luster interspersed upon it, disrupting the beauty of the whole.

This was the place where Jacob had brought him to stay.

"Sir."

Jacob called out again and then quickly approached.

Perhaps seeing Ronan’s steady gaze on the sky’s floating islands, he volunteered in a low voice, "Those floating islands aren’t for sale; only Second-level Wizards and above who are official members of the Rings have the privilege to be granted leases for use. However, I know a few floating islands are functional public areas that can be visited, and if the sir is interested..."

"Let’s talk about it another time."

Ronan cut off Jacob and asked, "How is it?"

Jacob straightened up and replied, "The normal daily rent here is twenty Low-level Magic Stones per day, five Intermediate Magic Stones for a monthly lease. I told them you wish to rent long-term, and the price has been discounted to three per month, and the rent only needs to be paid monthly..."

Twenty Low-level Magic Stones a day, three Intermediate Magic Stones a month...

Ronan listened to Jacob’s account, inwardly marveling at how the rent here truly was exorbitant compared to back in Hoddam.

But Hoddam was just a remote place for Low-level Wizards, back then it was in a town, now this was in the Magic Rings, within the Protection of a Rune Formation.

Even entering required one Intermediate Magic Stone.

Ronan thought for a moment, then replied to Jacob, "Let’s make it two. Two Intermediate Magic Stones per month, and we won’t need to find another place."

"I’ll go ask."

Jacob turned and ran quickly into the store, and half a minute later, he came back just as quickly.

"They agreed."

He told Ronan, "But they said they could only provide breakfast and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner you’ll need to arrange by yourself."

They even provide meals?

Ronan was a bit surprised; two Intermediate Magic Stones were also about what he had in mind.

After making the decision, he walked inside the inn with Jacob.

The entrance wasn’t big, the floor covered with an old but clean carpet, and a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. A plump middle-aged man along with a young girl stood behind a long wooden counter watching them.

After they entered, the girl with beautiful blue woolly curls immediately circled around the counter and ran towards them.

"Welcome to your stay, respected Wizard sir."

The girl verbally welcomed Ronan, but was sticking close to Jacob, her eye corners harboring an irrepressible playful smile, almost all of her attention on Jacob.

Ronan nodded to the middle-aged man who was the innkeeper, paid the rent for one month, and was then led upstairs to settle
