Ouch. She was playing a really hard game with that, but I kept my smirk and took another drag of my cigarette. The last of it, before pressing the bottom on the ashtray.

"We will see about that"

She huffed, that fucking attitude. "Because I’m not your slut, and I will not allow you to use me"

I almost rolled my eyes at this point. I have no intention of using her and she’s not a fucking slut just a brat. My brat. But I know she won’t believe me either way. I guess actions will speak.

"I think you are forgetting a very important thing, Emma"

"And what is that?"

I couldn’t help the smile that took over my lips, this next part is gonna be good. I reached for my pocket and pulled out the ring I took from her a week ago and I replenished the way her eyes went wide in shock. I’m sure she’s placing the dots together and it only makes me more amused.

"It was with you all this time!"

"Yes," my answer was short and simple. "As you know you are no longer Luther’s countess so there is no use for this"

"No. It’s still important, give it!" She looked like she was about to snap my neck.

"No," I said, taking it in a fist.

"Stop!"

Too late because I crushed the ring to pieces and the lingering smell told me that the gem was made with blood, maybe Luther’s.

"You don’t need it anymore, hence our partnership I will provide you with blood"

Amid her rapid breathing, she said. "I told you your blood disgusts me!"

"Let’s test that shall we? Right here right now... it’s necessary for our partnership"

A moment of thinking flashed her eyes and I suggest she do... because she knows no matter what I am her option right now and she will either take it or leave it.

Inhaling she got up her seat and rounded the Island to where I sat.

"And if I retch at the mere taste of it?"

"I will let you hit me as much as you can"

The level of satisfaction crossing her face only made me hard like morning wood. Fuck. That predator look, I’m dying to see her fangs right now and it seems like I will get my wish. I reached for her waist and grabbed it but she did not attempt to stop me so I leveled my hand until I grabbed her ass and lifted her to straddle me.

She scowled and it was my turn to have satisfaction.

She leaned to my neck but I stopped her. "Not there," I said with a frown.

"Why?" she narrowed her eyes.

"That is a lethal part, we kill by the neck when we hunt but it is also a threatening part of us"

"Then I want to take it from there" she insisted knowing it would get on my nerves.

"If you don’t want me in full beast mode then I suggest you behave" I meant what I said, my beast will sense a threat and I can’t do anything to stop my bloodlust in that spiral, I may have smoked a cigarette but it won’t do much to keep it at bay.

Keeping my eyes on her I bit my lip hard enough to draw blood. "There"

For someone who said my blood was disgusting, she wasted no time in sucking my lip, focusing only on the liquid, as her body shuddered and she moaned in bliss completely lost about everything else. I hated the amount of jealousy taking over me because of her need for my blood and not ME. So I buried my hand in her hair in a tight grip and forced my mouth to hers in a hungry electrifying kiss.

She kissed me back with enough fervor while still taking what she wanted and I deepened the kiss to the point we could barely breathe, but both of us didn’t care, as long as we took what we pleased. But I’m starving for more, ever since her cute action last night of giving me a smooch on the lips, she got me craving for those soft wet lips on mine again and I will be damn if I don’t get it.

What began as a need to satisfy her blood hunger became something untamable and alluring. The feeling of her lips on mine has suddenly become a new addiction and I want every inch of it and leave no stone unturned.

But much to my disagreement she placed her hands on my shoulders and pushed off me. "That’s enough!" she snapped, her chest rising and falling rapidly, her eyes squeezing close like she was trying to control herself and I was just at my thin ice already if she don’t fucking put her lips back on mine.

But I was distracted by her fangs, fuck me they look so beautiful, tiny, and barely noticeable like a kitten spawning fangs, I never thought I would be turned on by the sight of vampire fangs but here I am. I’m fucked to the highest level of fucking fucks!

She flashed her eyes open, a blush taking over her features and that look from last night came up, like she sees me in some sort of light but I’m far from it. I sat up with her legs still wrapped around my waist and dropped her on the island, I palmed her two asses with my hand and her gaze shifted to fear and anticipation.

"Scared?" I raised an eyebrow.

She licked her lips. "It hurt the last time and you were angry, I couldn’t sit without worrying about my ass being on fire"

I chuckled. "I will admit I went too far"

"Is the Dark Alpha admitting he did something wrong?"

I sucked on my teeth. "Just for you but don’t think I am soft"

"I don’t think you’re soft"

She narrowed her eyes.

"I thought you were going to say something like that"

"And why would you say that? I don’t know you"

I doubt that, I believe Emma knows me more than I even know myself. This is the reason for all this... this fucking partnership I came up with, I knew Emma won’t stay close to me without a reason so I gave her one, I just wanna keep her close, not because I want to but because I think she might be connected to what happened five years ago, march 19th, deep in the mountain, the night of my metamorphosis.
