I was super embarrassed about everything but Dace was understanding, as he always is and I can’t express how glad I’m for that. Making him do those things for me because I couldn’t get out of the bathroom was quite overwhelming but he just went through it like a breeze like it was no big deal for him.

I went for a test as planned but got my period. Well, that is something you don’t see every day, I was relieved that I wasn’t pregnant but I couldn’t express that because of the pain. god, it hurt so much! That is why I don’t like getting my period because it made me feel like a damn baby, constantly whining from the pain. Dace knew that fact and he wasn’t bothered by it at all.

This wasn’t the first time I spent time with him when I had my flow, well it wasn’t as alarming as this one but it still happened and for an odd reason I liked being next to him because the warmth from his body helped a lot, it cooled the pain somehow and the feeling was just smooching to me, I felt light and okay and the discomfort wasn’t what was on my mind and it was just him.

I knew for a fact that Dace wanted my test to be positive, he was more than ready to take responsibility and I knew that, but he also understood that I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t ready to have a child right now, definitely not, really glad he said something about it and I comprehended his actions and his words which made the presence between us more pleasant, and I just wanna fall asleep in his arms and forget about the hectic day I had.

The dream, about Grayson and Oliver. It was a sudden relief for me but I still can’t stop thinking about that dream, if it wasn’t about me being pregnant then what was it? I truly believe that was the point but now it wasn’t... then what did that dream mean? Or was it sometime in the future? My dream was always something of the present or about to happen, I don’t think my dreams get that far then-

"What’s that?" Dace suddenly said and the solitude between us was gone and I really wanted it to last longer.

"What?" I asked because I knew no one could disturb us right now, I had the spell for the void still on so what or who could it be by this time?

"A scratch sound" he turned. "Coming from your door"

Scratch sound? Oh, wait...

"Oh, I think I know what it is," I said getting up from the bed while groaning because being apart from Dace caused the discomfort to come back, but I just steadied myself to the door. Gosh! I can’t believe I forgot about my fur baby, I remembered he’s safe with my mom, so how the heck did he get here?

I opened the door and found big hazels looking back at me.

*Meow*

It did it so softly that it melted my heart. "Awww ’’ I reached and carried him and he happily stayed in my arms. I shut the door and turned to Dace with a smile on my lips. I was happy he came now because I wanted to introduce him to Dace. It gets me all giggly right now.

"It’s my fur baby"

"Fur baby?" He said with a very puzzled look and then his eyes fell on the kitten in my arms staring back at Dace, I swore they had the same look on.

Shrugging I walked back to the bed and sat on it.

"Aren’t you gonna say something?" I asked, getting worried because it felt like he was suspicious about the cat but there was nothing wrong with him.

"He has the same scent as you, why?"

"Hmm," I paused. "Oh maybe because he bit me when I found him, he was a bit hostile but he seems okay now" And then I paused again. "Wait, you can sniff him? While I’m here?" I was confused now because I knew he can’t detect others’ scent while I’m here"

"I don’t know why, where did you find him?"

"In the woods just after you left"

"I see"

"See he had your eyes"

He meows the moment I say that.

"Hmm" Dace only just made a sound.

"What?" I knew something was up with him now.

"You’re stroking him quite well," he remarks, watching as I rubbed the kitten’s head and he purred at my actions.

"Look he’s just so cuteee!" I smiled. "Isn’t he?"

"Hmm"

"I haven’t given him a name yet but I have been thinking" I paused, doing a thinking face. "Tiger?"

"What?"

"It suits him right"

"But that’s..." Dace abode as his teeth clenched. "... Is my name?"

I raised the kitten to his face and he meowed in response.

"Did that cat just smirk at me?"

"Tiger Jnr then? Because he has your eyes" I pouted and he rolled his eyes.

"Come on Tiger don’t be such a baby"

He huffed. "Baby" he mumbled under his breath and I snorted at his words before rising to my feet and walking to my wardrobe searching for a blanket and I did.

I placed Tiger Jnr on the bed and he just stayed waiting for me as I folded the blanket to look like a bed.

"Now you sleep down here, I will get you a bed tomorrow" I placed him on top and proceeded to turn off the lights.

"Now you have me, happy?" I said sitting back on the bed. And Dace grabbed my hand and yanked me into his arms.

"Better" he mumbled to my ear and kissed my neck and I shivered under his hold.

*Meow*

"What now?" he said but I only heard mostly growling.

"Are you okay Tiger Jnr?" I asked.

"I haven’t agreed to that name"

I rolled my eyes as I carried him. "Seems like he wants to sleep on the bed"

"Really?" Dace sounded angry now"

And I shrugged lying back on the bed and placed him in the center, Tiger Jnr happily snuggled close to me.

"I’m tired Dace let’s get some sleep"

He sighed lying back with an unreadable expression, we still lay closer to each other and touching but Tiger Jnr created the space so that our faces couldn’t touch, I almost burst into laughter when I saw Dace glancing at the cat like he was gonna kill it. I wanted to say something to calm him down but I couldn’t because my fur baby was already sleeping.

So I mouthed the word ’I love you’ and I loved as his eyes gleamed at my words.

A smile crossed his lips and he carefully reached and placed his hand on my cheek and gently stroked it while mouthing back ’I love you too’

His continuous stroking caused my eyes to be heavy, sleep overcame me and I was unable to stare into those hazels of his with a mix of gold, but I knew they were still watching me and it gave me ease.

"Emma"

"Hmm" I answered with my eyes still closed as I smiled.

"Emma"

Why does Dace’s voice sound different right now or were my ears playing tricks on me?

"Emma, open your eyes!"

I gasped when the hands on my arms shocked me and I flicked my eyes open and met with green eyes.

"G-Grayson?" What was he doing here? In my room? Wait... I looked around and I gasped when I saw the familiar place with the people walking back and forth. This is the hospital, the same hospital from my dream. That means...

"This is a dream isn’t it?" I said, setting my eyes back on Grayson and he lets me go with a nod.

"And you’re here too," he says.

"And you too"

Suddenly a scream came again.

"It’s that scream," I said, feeling a strong pull I couldn’t resist, I wasn’t so sure I could see myself giving birth again because the pain wasn’t something I can withstand but the pull was just too strong.

"It’s calling for us... again," Grayson said. "My guess is the reason you’re here right now in this dream relieving this again... I take it the results came out-"

"Negative" I sighed, "It came out negative," I said as I walked toward the direction of the sound and Grayson followed.

It was just like last time, leading us to the same room but this time it was different because it was Grayson and I going towards it now.

We stopped at the same door just like before. And Grayson reached to open it.

"There’s something this dream wants us to find out"

I nodded because I thought about the same possibility too, because why was it leading us here, the same hospital and the same room, just to see myself giving birth?

Grayson’s grip on the doorknob tightened and he opened the door. I was half expecting to feel that wave of pain again and meet myself in the agony but that was far from what lay before my eyes right now.

"M-Mom?"
