Chapter 379: Fate 346 II
Li Chengyi searched the man and found a black bank card, from which he transferred one million using his phone—the password was indeed real.
The account had a total of one million and fifty thousand, leaving only fifty thousand after the transfer.
"I’ve taken all your money, do you hate me?" Li Chengyi was already feeling a bit shocked. This was not living in harmony, but rather taking as he pleased.
"No, I don’t hate you. I know you’re doing this for my own good. Only when I’ve lost the money will I be stimulated to work hard and earn more. This is a way to train my abilities," the young man sincerely replied.
"....."
Li Chengyi, looking at the other’s sincere expression, suddenly felt that this Flower Language Technique was truly a bit...
He glanced at the purple glow on the back of his hand, then walked over to the car to check on the long-haired woman in a red dress who had been drugged and fainted. Deciding to take action, he picked her up and hid with her in the nearby woods.
From a distance, he watched the area, starting to calculate how long the purple light would last.
Ten minutes.
Twenty minutes.
Thirty minutes.
After a full half-hour, the young man’s eyes suddenly trembled, and he recovered from his calm state.
Remembering everything that had just happened, he broke into a cold sweat, knowing he had encountered the legendary drug scam.
Looking around at the desolate outskirts.
In the distant fields, there were only a few self-built houses with sparse lights, causing him to shiver, turn around, get in the car, and notice that the prey he had picked up from the bar was also gone.
He was instantly even more frightened.
Hum.
The sports car started and sped away, heading back toward the city area from afar.
It seemed that this kid wouldn’t dare to mix in the suburbs for a while.
’Is it half an hour like with cats too? Could it be that in the eyes of the Flower Language Technique, the physique of a little cat and this young man are the same?’ Li Chengyi watched the other leave, pondering a possible answer.
’Then, what about a Reinforced Human with a stronger physique?’ As he thought about it, he soon realized there was nowhere to find those enemies harboring hostility towards him to test it.
In Fengnan Province nowadays, with the Zhao Family lying low, the whole province saw Mingyuan as nothing short of the local bully.
The members of the team, in order to collect Evil Thoughts and evolve themselves, went around beating up gangsters and the underworld. It was as if there was never a shortage of trouble—for them, if there wasn’t any, they’d make some!
This inadvertently led to a significant improvement in the public security of Suiyang and the surrounding urban areas.
After some thought, Li Chengyi took out his phone to send a message to the channel.
"I’m at this location, I’ve saved a woman drugged into unconsciousness, send someone to take care of her. Also, who’s free? Find something that can attack me and has hostility towards me, help me with an experiment. Preferably something strong."
His latter remarks were actually directed at Da Xiong.
After all, this matter would be troublesome for others but easy for Da Xiong.
"I’m busy over here," Da Xiong quickly replied, "Brother Yi, Dragon Gate Crane is the closest to you. Would he do?"
"I’m not good right now, I have a few men strung up, soaking in lust, about to successfully evolve," Dragon Gate Crane hastily responded.
"... Why are you stringing so many up? I’m warning you, don’t mess around using my face!" Rainbow Candy couldn’t help but speak out.
"It’s all preparation for a group * event. When they’re at their most excited, I’ll knock them all out, and then I can perfectly absorb the lust!" Dragon Gate Crane proudly declared.
"... You’re...," Rainbow Candy couldn’t help wanting to curse.
"Sister Tang, don’t be like that. I didn’t let them touch me just anyhow—I was just pretending, you know pretending!?" Dragon Gate Crane quickly clarified.
"...." Li Chengyi was speechless on the side.
Indeed, this guy was the comedian in the team.
"Send someone over quickly, I have something I want to verify," he urged.
"Okay, I just recently successfully experimented on a cutie. Since Brother Yi likes it, I’ll send it over for you to use first," Da Xiong replied softly.
"Thanks, much appreciated," Li Chengyi responded.
Disconnecting the communication, he stood by the roadside and quietly waited.
Da Xiong’s lab was quite far from here, and it was estimated that it would take a while to arrive.
So he simply started trying out the effectiveness of the Flower Language Technique on the plants and flowers.
After some testing, he confirmed that the Flower Language Technique could only be used on individuals that harbored hostility and intent to attack him.
For any other targets that were already peaceful, the Flower Language Technique was completely ineffective.
Before long.
The red-dressed woman who had been saved moaned and slowly regained consciousness on the grass.
Just as she came to, her eyes widened in shock at the sight of a black hawk with a wingspan of over five meters rapidly approaching in the night sky, causing her eyes to roll back as she fainted again.
Li Chengyi was at a loss for words as he looked up at the huge black hawk.
Typically, black hawks have a wingspan of only up to three meters—this was his first time seeing one over five meters.
Most crucially, the black hawk’s entire body had a metallic sheen to its feathers, indicating they were extremely hard.
Upon seeing Li Chengyi, the black hawk immediately extended its talons and swooped down at him.
Its speed was surprisingly fast; although not supersonic, it was comparable to the speed of vehicles rushing on the road.
Li Chengyi calmly waited, and when the black hawk was about to reach him, he quickly spoke out.
"1+1=2!"
Bang!
In an instant, the black hawk’s legs struck downward, and it plummeted straight into the cement ground in front of him.
The hard surface was punctured by it, creating two holes.
Its sharp eyes, at this moment, quickly became peaceful and tranquil.
Then, the black hawk just sat there motionlessly.
Li Chengyi sized it up while asking in the channel.
"What level is this hawk?"
"That’s an experimental subject I just bred. It has a very strong physique; ordinary bullets are ineffective against it, only special armor-piercing rounds work. Moreover, this hawk’s regeneration ability is strong; ordinary injuries can heal completely within an hour. Its strength is equivalent to the full output power of a Second Rank Reinforced Human. The only shortcoming is its speed," Da Xiong answered.
"Understood," Li Chengyi said, looking at the purple light on the back of his hand and waiting to see how long the Flower Language Technique could control it.
Five minutes.
Ten minutes.
Twenty minutes...
Pfft.
The Black Hawk flapped its wings vigorously, its expression changing in an instant as it took to the sky.
After circling once, it didn’t attempt another attack on Li Chengyi, seemingly wary yet vengeful, wanting revenge but not daring to come close.
"That’s enough." The test ended.
Li Chengyi looked at the two fresh eagle claw marks on the concrete ground, feeling quite satisfied.
Just this level of control could last so long, the Flower Language Technique chosen this time seemed to be the right one.
What came next was luck.
How this luck would manifest was unclear to him, but since it was a passive Flower Language Technique, it should have an effect regardless of his attention to it.
Shortly after, the company’s staff arrived to pick up the woman in the red dress and transport her to the hospital while Li Chengyi turned and left the scene to head to Mingyuan Headquarters.
Time was short, and he needed to quickly complete the search for the second disengagement law of the City of the Death Angels.

Above Xuan Ming Island, within the massive layer of lava.
Brilliant white light illuminated the surroundings, turning the entire Xuan Ming Island into daylight.
Three Reinforced Humans bathed in white light floated high above, looking from afar like three glaring orbs of light, circling around a huge, semi-transparent serpent dragon that flickered in and out of visibility, continuously attacking it.
The serpent dragon was dark grey in color and was almost one-third the length of Xuan Ming Island. From its appearance, the dragon had six sharp, spiky black horns and a pair of black wings on its back.
Overall, it resembled a horned black python with wings.
Only the dragon’s bovine roars and the black fire pillars it spat out made it known that this creature might indeed be a dragon.
The brawl continued for quite a while; despite all three stars being Second Rank masters with movement speeds a minimum of ten times the speed of sound.
But with the Shadow Dragon’s intermittent Shadow Flashes, all three found themselves dodging in a most embarrassed manner.
Even with the Battle God Form activated, their missiles and cannons were hardly effective, failing to breach the Shadow Dragon’s black scales.
As time went on, their energy reserves dwindled increasingly. The Second Rank already consumed a tremendous amount of energy, and they lacked the continuous and relentless support of Grade Nine.
Half an hour into the fight, they were nearing their limit.
Their flashy group attacks were ineffective against the Shadow Dragon, a fact they had already proven.
Hence, to maximize the effectiveness of their attacks, all three unanimously resorted to close-quarters slashing and piercing attacks.
They utilized their superior speed to amplify the lethality.
Bang!
Suddenly, a light orb failed to dodge in time and was struck by the Shadow Dragon, which had flickered behind it, and was smashed to the ground by a swift tail swipe.
With the resounding explosion, the light orb fell heavily into the molten red lava like a falling star.
"We can’t hold on much longer!" one of the two remaining Reinforced Humans transmitted urgently.
"Is Kong He ready? We have a maximum of five minutes; if it’s not ready soon, you might as well collect our ashes." the other said with rapid breaths, struggling to speak.
Their Battle God Forms, one resembling a vermilion bird with a fiery red body adorned with exquisite patterns and white crystals,
the other with a body of blue, a bovine humanoid figure with a pair of semi-transparent force field wings on its back.
Both were surrounded by strands of white electric arcs, continuously emitting vast amounts of radiation outward.
"It’s about time, prepare to retreat. These Black Sea creatures are indestructible; only after dealing them a thorough blow can we force them back," a deep, steady female voice responded over the channel.
At that moment, subtle black vapors began to condense slowly between the fingers of Xuan Ming Island.
The vapors grew increasingly abundant and dense, quickly forming into a giant black sphere.
"Get ready!"
The two in the sky tensed up, dodging the Shadow Dragon’s fire pillars, ready to follow orders at a moment’s notice.
Their speed far surpassed that of the Shadow Dragon’s, but their attacks were barely scratching the surface; both sides were in an equally helpless situation.
"Retreat!!" A sudden shout came through the channel.
The two dashed outward at full speed, escaping.
And in that moment, the giant hand of Xuan Ming Island below trembled violently, and from the black sphere above, a jet-black column of smoke shot out.
The column of smoke, like a laser beam, struck the huge Shadow Dragon floating mid-air in an instant.
This was Star Lake’s ultimate fallback option, the most potent strike they could muster, comparable to that of Grade Nine—the Smoke Splitter Light Cannon.
Humming!!!
A series of invisible shockwaves expanded from the Shadow Dragon at the center, causing the vast expanse of lava for tens of kilometers around to darken in color.
Howl!
The Shadow Dragon howled in agony, struggling but unable to break free from the column of smoke.
That column of smoke was like an incredibly hard needle, piercing through most of its body.
Boom!!
In an instant, the Shadow Dragon exploded completely.
This time, it wasn’t a Shadow Flash, but a real and thorough explosion.
Like an inflating balloon, the entire Shadow Dragon blew apart, its scales and flesh bursting open rapidly, turning into countless showers of black and red blood rain, plummeting downwards.
And below, with the colossal blow depleted, the giant hand of Xuan Ming Island lost most of its energy, barely covered by a thin layer of the force field, offering no protection against the massive blood rain.
Numerous chunks of Shadow Dragon flesh tore through the force field, falling onto the island, collapsing buildings, and smashing houses.
A large group of Star Lake Reinforced Humans, caught in the flesh deluge, quickly dissolved, along with their equipment, turning completely into puddles of shadows, gradually disappearing.
Meanwhile, Barton and his three companions, who had taken refuge in a building, had just completed half of their genetic modification surgery when they encountered such a cataclysmic scene.
Boom!
A core chunk of flesh, from the heart of the Shadow Dragon, fiercely demolished the building they were in, burying the four of them beneath.
Screams were drowned out by the sounds of the collapsing building.
Barton and his group had no time to run before they were engulfed by a large mass of dragon heart blood, losing consciousness instantly.
