Chapter 118: Basic 108 II
"Heh, you’re pretty full of yourself, huh?"
From amongst the crowd that had gathered later, two tall and thin men with light green hair slowly stepped forward.
These two had decent looks, except for the slightly dark circles under their eyes, giving them an air of strained vitality.
It wasn’t until both of them stepped out that the rest of the crowd realized, at least half of them were following these two.
Some even had bulging waists, clearly carrying guns.
"Mm, not bad, not bad," Li Chengyi smiled. "Isn’t this a mutual rush? Who made us a pair of two?"
His meaning was clear; being a party of just two with no others to take their place, they naturally attracted many to join them.
"You’ve got quite the temperament," the man with green hair curled his lips. "Yet your words are pretty arrogant. You’re quite interesting."
"Indeed, thank you for the compliment," Li Chengyi nodded in agreement. "I just think that since everyone is already in a bad enough situation, why make it worse for each other?"
"Makes sense; you, kid, are more pleasing to me than many others," the green-haired man laughed.
"Give us the target then. You’re right; we need you, not the other way around. High-frequency flash appearance, hey, I hope you are as good as advertised. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be worth me scorching wheels over tens of thousands of miles!"
"I won’t disappoint everyone," Li Chengyi said with a gentle smile.
He opened his hands, signaling everyone to quiet down a bit.
When the noise subsided somewhat,
he slowly began to speak.
"Now, let’s talk about the test topic."
He looked around at the crowd, which by now already numbered about thirty people.
Everyone quieted down, all eyes focused on him.
"The task: Find the whereabouts and personal information of all direct members of Tie Feng Group and Suiyang Xu Family within one hour."
"Starting now."
Li Chengyi clapped his hands together, producing a sharp, clear sound.
"Begin."

Tie Feng Group.
Xu Zhenchang stood expressionless in the corporate building’s top-floor office, overlooking the entire Suiyang night view.
"Brother Zheng," his voice was low, "have we not found the Reinforced Human assassin who killed our son?"
"Someone is covering their tracks. I can only trace it as far as Hongjin and then hit a dead end." There was no light on in the office, and sitting in the shadow on a soft leather chair was a burly figure.
A burning cigarette was pinched between his fingers, its faint glow notably vivid in the darkness.
"The other child who was with my son was hit and killed a few days ago. We’ve confirmed that it was the sister of the girl they killed before, Zheng Qingrong."
He was Zheng Kai, the chairman of the entire Tie Feng Group’s board of directors.
The exposure of the affairs of his son, Zheng Jiayu, had caused the group’s stock to plummet, vaporizing at least one-third of its market value.
This had caused much dissatisfaction among the board members, a situation he had only just managed to suppress.
"I’ve had someone check Heavenly Eye on the quiet, and the information gathered isn’t much, just that Xindela’s Hongjin is a likely suspect. This time, I hope you will join me in making a move against Hongjin. Xindela has friends in the alliance too, and I might not be able to suppress it alone," Xu Zhenchang said calmly.
"I’m not unwilling," Zheng Kai replied. "It’s just that until now, our power hasn’t been able to track down the real mastermind. But now, I’ve brought in a true expert from out of town. In the field of network security, he’s top-notch! With him here, we’ll definitely be able to find out the Reinforced Human’s detailed whereabouts!"
"Oh? Who is he?" Xu Zhenchang asked curiously.
"Voltage Quantum Chen Fubo," Zheng Kai said, gently pressing a button on his clothing.
Soon, the office door automatically parted, and a man in a black suit wearing silver-framed glasses with a refined demeanor walked in.
"I came as soon as I received the commission. I’m delighted to meet you both; I am Voltage Quantum Chen Fubo."
The man with the glasses bowed with a smile.
"This operation is quite complex, involving Heavenly Eye, so the fee is fifty million. You don’t have any objections, do you?"
"As long as you get results. Money is no issue!" Xu Zhenchang replied coldly. His son Xu Zhongsheng had been assassinated right in front of him within his own company’s building at Palace Garden Florist.
This vendetta, he had to avenge no matter what!
"Great... I will need to..." Voltage Quantum Chen Fubo had just started to speak.
Suddenly, a look of surprise flashed across his face.
"Wait, someone has silently breached our surveillance system and the technique is not bad. Excuse me for a moment; let me handle this uninvited hacker intrusion," Chen Fubo said with a smile. He pressed the implant switch on the side of his neck.
"Just a petty thief..."
His expression was calm, but before he could finish, he suddenly looked startled.
"Not right, it turns out to be two petty thieves. No matter, the technique is quite decent, but only strong in this minor league compared to me..."
Again, he did not finish speaking when the smile on his face slowly faded.
"Three? If it were someone else, they definitely couldn’t withstand this data stream, but I am different. It’s a good thing you found me, otherwise..."
Beep beep...
Suddenly, a faint electronic alert sound came from within his body.
"Wait... Something’s off!"
"Not three... more than three!"
Chen Fubo’s expression grew thoroughly serious.
As time went on, his face looked increasingly grim. Sweat began to seep from his forehead, forming thin streams that flowed into his neck.
"How could there be so many!!? Who have you... who have you angered to this extent!!? Why are there so many!?"
He was already in bad shape, his body temperature soaring to an alarming extent, with faint wisps of white smoke clearly visible rising from his hair.
"No good!!" Suddenly his face drastically changed, and he reached to press the switch on the side of his neck, attempting to physically cut off the network connection.
But it was already too late.
In an instant.
All the modification modules on Chen Fubo’s body overloaded at once, conflicting with each other.
A large amount of white smoke rose from his body.
He collapsed onto the carpet, clutching his neck desperately, trying to disconnect.
But it was already too late.
Huh!!
In an instant, bright yellow flames surged from within him, engulfing his body.
Accompanied by crackling electric sparks and black smoke.
In just two seconds, his entire body had self-ignited.
"No!!!" A scream rang out.
Zheng Kai, who had been sitting in his seat all along, now stood up in involuntary shock, staring at the scene before him.
Xu Zhenchang stood amidst the flames, silently watching Chen Fubo self-combust, the hatred in his eyes now transforming into shock and fear with the sudden blaze.
No footage or data could compare to the shock of witnessing a living person suddenly self-combust right before one’s eyes.
Gulping.
Both men watched Chen Fubo, who had fallen to the ground consumed by flames, struggling to swallow, and remained unresponsive for a long time even as the office’s automatic fire suppression system sprinkled water like rain.

Eternal Botanical Garden.
"Your skills are quite impressive." Under the light, the green-haired man toyed with a gold watch, tossing it up and down.
"You’re even faster than my guys, but you think you can win like that?" he laughed.
Boom!
He mimicked the sound with his mouth.
"Now that’s better, aren’t you all so fast? I’ve destroyed the system! Fried all the chips! Severed all the networks!"
"If I can’t do it, neither can you!" he laughed arrogantly.
Behind him, a dozen people sat on the ground, working swiftly on their laptops, executing his commands.
"Bumpkin." Suddenly, a female voice sounded.
Next to the red sports car, Rainbow Candy leaned against the car door, striking a pose that highlighted her curves.
"You think we’re out of options just because you burned the chips?" She wore a mocking smile on her face.
"Done!" came a synthesized electronic voice from inside the car. "Sister Tang, all information has been fully collected."
"Thanks, Cucumber." Rainbow Candy patted the car.
"You’re welcome, serving you is my greatest value," the electronic voice responded.
"I’ve also finished."
"Me too."
"Information collection complete."
Almost simultaneously, several voices echoed from among the numerous teams present.
The green-haired man’s wildly brazen smile suddenly faltered.
He looked around, his gaze turning dark.
"Wow, all experts!"
"That’s why you’re a bumpkin." Rainbow Candy’s sarcastic laughter filled the air, her gaze shifting to the quiet Li Chengyi nearby.
"Time is about right, shall we take a look?"
"Thank you, everyone." Li Chengyi nodded.
"Please project all the data at the same time, and then disconnect from the internet after taking a photo, as proof."
"Of course." Black Beard nodded in agreement.
After all, with AI, modifying a screenshot didn’t even take a second. Not disconnecting from the internet was just openly inviting cheating, leading to an endless cycle.
"Also, even if we don’t end up as a team, it’s good to exchange contact information and make friends, right?" Li Chengyi said seriously.
"How about... create a little group?" suggested Country Trident, raising his hand.
"Good idea!" Black Beard nodded in agreement.
"Come on, scan mine." Li Chengyi immediately took action, pulling out his phone.
Everyone there was a Blind Spot Individual, highly confident in their abilities.
At least in terms of cyber security, no one present was weak.
Having more contact information could lead to opportunities for further exchanges in the future.
"Let’s get together more offline in the future, familiarity breeds fondness. I’ll treat everyone to eggs, boiled offers the best nutrition," Country Trident cheerfully handed out eggs to each person.
"What should we name the group?" Rainbow Candy asked after scanning the code, clearly concerned about it. "Make it something nice, nothing embarrassing."
"Hmm..." Li Chengyi pondered, "Fate has brought us together here. And everyone is as lovely as flowers, diverse in colors, each with their own fragrance."
"How about Happy Farm?"
"..."
"..."
"....."
Everyone was momentarily speechless.
"What kind of name is that?! Be serious!" Rainbow Candy shouted.
"Just a joke," Li Chengyi said with a laugh, "to liven up the mood. How about... Garden of Fate for the name?"
"It’ll do."
"Alright, that’s it."
"It’s a bit sappy, but we’ll just need to recruit some muscle men to draw attention."
The group expressed their opinions.
"Then it’s settled," Li Chengyi said with a smile. "For anyone who confirms joining my team, I’ll plant a corresponding perennial in the botanical garden for them."
His smile slowly faded.
"No matter how many people the team has, I’ll set aside a special area to plant the corresponding number of flowers."
"As long as you’re alive, the flowers will continue to bloom."
"If you die..."
He paused.
"I’ll find a way to retrieve your ashes and bury them under the flowers, letting them live on in your place."
