After five minutes, Zion arrived at Alice’s home only to find it in ruin. He scanned the area searching for her, but he got nothing.

"W-Who are you?" Audrey asked

He was confused for a second. He was sure that Alice had told her family about him. ’Ahh, right, I never met them in person.’ He thought to himself

"I’m Zion, a friend of Alice, the one who paid off your debts,"

Audrey sighed in relief, holding both of her children. "Please, help my son! He’s hurt!"

"What happened here?" He asked, treating Gregory.

Audrey explained the entire situation to him between sobs without missing a single detail. She told him how Alice tried to pay off their debt, but the bald man declined and beat Alice up before taking off with him.

’What? That makes no sense. Flint Larson is a businessman—money is his one true love. So why would he kidnap Alice instead of just taking the money? Did Curtis beg his father to keep her because he likes her? No... that doesn’t add up. Then what does he want with her?’

Then he sensed something on the ground, scrutinizing it with an intense focus. It was blood that wasn’t Alice’s own. It was slight, almost going undetected, but he managed to sense it just in time to make his next move.

’Demonic energy!’

Instead of wasting time figuring out Flint Larson’s reasoning behind Alice’s kidnapping, Zion sprang into action. A magic circle appeared on his ear and he started speaking.

"Lacey, I need your help finding someone, Alice. Send everyone."

In an instant, hundreds of figures materialized before him, dropping to one knee in unified reverence. Each wore a black hooded cloak and a mask that concealed their face, shrouding their identities in mystery. Among them stood not only humans, but elves with sharp, graceful features, stout and sturdy dwarves, and fierce-eyed beastmen. This formidable assembly was his stealth force—silent, loyal, and deadly.

"What is your order, master?" The head of his stealth force asked

"Find Alice and bring her to me. If you can’t, tell me her location and I’ll handle things myself. And five of you take these three back to my house for safekeeping. Also, beware of danger, I found traces of demonic energy."

"Yes sir!" They all dispersed into the shadows searching every nook and cranny of the Royal Capital.

Zion lept into the air surveying the entirety of the capital. Since he wasn’t strong enough to spread his senses throughout the entire capital, he amplified them using a magic circle.

’Come on Alice, where are you?’ Suddenly, a loud explosion was heard from the west.

*BOOM*

"What the fuck?!" Zion shielded his eyes from the blinding light. "That was the Magic Tower! Who in their right mind would attack the magic tower?!"

Then as if that couldn’t be topped, another explosion went off to the east. The Knight’s Order Institution. The two more, the Church and the Academy.

Zion was left speechless, too shocked to even comprehend what had just happened. As if things couldn’t get any worse, mana beasts, monsters, and demonic humans invaded the Capital and started wreaking havoc.

"Master! Master! We have found the person who took Alice, however, we’re being attacked by people who wield demonic energy. It also seems like mana beasts and monsters are attacking the city!"

That snapped Zion out of his trance. "Understood, I’m on my way."

"Young Master!"

"What is it, Lacey?"

"It’s Lidia, she’s under attack! I’m on my way to help her now!"

Zion stopped in his tracks, the wind blowing with extreme force as it finally caught up to Zion after flying at high speeds.

"What did you just say?" He asked, wanting her to clarify her words

"An explosion went off at the Academy sending everyone into a panic. I just so happened to be close to your room when Lidia contacted me, telling me that she needed help."

’What do I do? Alice needs me, but I can’t let Lidia get hurt!’

"Master! We’re being pushed back! They’re escaping with Alice!"

’Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit! I’m sorry Alice, but I need to find Lidia first!’ He then spoke to his subordinates.

"Help anyone you can, before returning home. We need to understand what’s going on here." He rocked off to the academy as fast as he could.

"Aunty Raven, what’s going on?!" He asked as he called her using the magic circle on his ear.

"Not now Zion, I’m busy. Talk to you later!" She replied

Being hung up on by his aunt wasn’t something he ever expected. This only made Zion fly faster to the academy. Once the Academy was in sight, he flew right to his room, but before he could make it, a large boot impaled his ribs, sending him hurdling into nearby buildings.

"Nah ah unh! Can’t have you going there." Carl spoke, his smile wide with food chunks in his teeth.

"Who the fuck are you?" Zion asked, his anger building up as he felt the demonic energy coming off of the muscular man. He couldn’t see the mans face as a black veil made of demonic energy obscered it from view. ’He’s a Grandmaster, maybe even stronger.’

"Hahaha! You do not deserve to know my name! If you manage to land a clean blow on me, then I might consider telling you my amazing name!"

"Heh, fine, have it your way!" Zion powered up to maximum from the start, his power raging like a storm. He activated his Body Arts which doused him with elemental power, he used his runic body that amplified every aspect of his strength, and his spells were at the top of his mind, ready to be cast once he needed.

"I swear to you if Lidia dies-"

"Oh don’t worry, we won’t kill her," He licked his lips seductively "We want her for something else."

At that moment, Zion saw red and the last bit of rationality he had vanished.

"I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" He shouted with anger, charging at the man.

"I’D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" Carl smiled, also charging at Zion, their power surging from their bodies.
