"So, back to what I was saying, I’ll help you out. I’ve never liked those other gods and devils, and I want them gone. But something is off, though."

Zion furrowed his brow. "What do you mean?"

"I can sense Erebosa and Luminera. I can also sense the other gods in heaven, but for some reason, I can’t sense the devils. They’re supposed to be in hell, but I can’t sense them there."

"Maybe it’s because they aren’t doing anything. The gods have been active for a long time and are currently fighting a war against the angels. If I’m not mistaken, the Devils have just been chilling for a while, not engaging in anything."

"Hmmmm." Willow thought about that answer and decided to go with it for the time being. Also, she had been dormant for a long time, and she needed to adjust to the current state of the world, her world.

"So, how are you going to help me? I’m assuming you don’t want me to absorb your power, huh?"

She shook her head. "I’ll allow you to absorb it. However, your weak body won’t be able to handle the amount of energy that you’ll be absorbing. So, I’ll break things down into four steps."

"Please, explain." Zion listened intently.

"First thing you should do is become a demigod. I can already sense that you’ve reached the pinnacle of your species, even more than that, in fact, and need to reach the next step in evolution. Since you have two divinities in you, you’ll have to not only become a demigod but also a daemon."

"And how do I do that?"

"You’ll have to completely absorb Divine and Devil power."

Zion frowned. What she said didn’t make any sense. Because of him absorbing those two energies, he was able to use holy power and demonic energy. "How would absorbing those two energies elevate me to the demigod status? I’m always absorbing those energies."

Willow shook her head. "No, what you have in your body is a diluted version of those energies. Devil Power and Divine Energy are what gods and devils use. Any other race has a weaker version of that. Those weaker versions are demonic energy and holy power. You may think that it’s just the version that a lesser race such as yourself can only use, but the real reason you can’t use it is because your body wouldn’t handle it."

"Wait, so if I can perfectly contain the energies, I’ll become a demigod?" He asked

"No. The transferred energy has to bond with you perfectly, and after that, your body will undergo a metamorphosis. If you survive both the energy transfer and the metamorphosis, then you’ll ascend to a higher realm of power."

This was new information that Zion had to process. He didn’t know becoming a demigod would be so simple and complex at the same time. However, he also wondered why Luminera didn’t just make him one once he reached the Mystic Stage.

Speaking of higher powers, he thought about Authorities. This was the next stage of power that one could wield and was a step above the typical mana, demonic energy, and holy power.

"What about Authorities? I’m set to learn them soon. Do I have to be a demigod for that?"

"You do. A mortal body wouldn’t be able to handle such power."

"Okay, then why can demons and angels use them?" He wondered.

"Because they are a higher level being than any race in the middle world. Their being allows them to use authorities, but even then, it’s not on the same level as a God. And even they aren’t on the same level as Titans, as they aren’t on the same level as Primodials."

"So, everything depends on your state of existence. I see." He concluded.

"Indeed. But as I was saying, you’ll need to do four things to claim my power. The first is to become a demigod/daemon. The second is to learn authorities. The third is to convert the power of the nexus pool in the demon world to Erebosa’s power, and the one in the angelic world to Luminera’s power. You’ll also have to go back to the nexus pool in the middle world and add Erebosa’s power to it so all three will be connected under their power."

"And the last?" He asked

"Simply collect all the ancient relics. Once you’ve done so and absorbed them all, you’ll be able to contain my power. Keep in mind that not even the gods absorb my power, as even for them, it’s too much and they could die."

"Ahh, well, that’s good to know. So like, will I get your power after I complete all those things, or will it be dormant in me and awaken once I complete what you want me to do?"

She looked at him as if he were an idiot. "Did you not just hear what I said? You will die if you take my energy now. Obviously, I’ll give it to you later."

"Jeez, my bad. You just weren’t clear on the process."

"I’ll be taking you back to your world now." Energy gathered in her hand as she was about to send Zion away.

"Wait! How will I be able to contact you?" He would be dammed if he couldn’t speak to Willow anymore. She was like a goldmine when it came to power.

"I’m the literal planet you’re living on." She reminded him.

Now he just felt embarrassed. How could he forget such a simple thing? Sure, it’s not every day that your planet decides to talk back to you, but someone like him should’ve put two and two together.

"You know, that was stupid of me. I overlooked that. You can send me home now."

She waved her hand, and Zion vanished.

Back on the outside, the girls were still waiting for Zion to return. They grew increasingly worried and hoped that the worst wouldn’t happen.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Zion was flung out of the Nexus Pool, landing face-first on the ground. "Ow."

"ZION!" They all rushed him, hugging him so tightly that he could feel his bones cracking.

"Don’t you ever do that again!"

"I was so worried!"

"What happened? Did you fight the world or something?"

"You’re dumb, but I’m glad you’re okay."

"Welcome back, Young Master."

"Zion!"

Everyone turned to Luminera

"Tell me everything that happened."
