Chapter 128: Chapter 124: Meeting with the Principal
"Second Master Li, why don’t you just go?"
"It’s one thing for others, but since it’s the principal who’s looking for you, you ought to give him that respect. So I think you should go."
"Exactly, exactly. We can go with you if you like. It’s probably nothing serious."
Jiang Liuer, Zhu Ganglie, and Sha Sheng all urged him.
"I’ll go with you too."
Yuan Furong glared at Li Tianyi defiantly as she gripped Li Ping’an’s hand tightly.
After thinking for a moment, Li Ping’an finally asked:
"Since it’s the principal who’s looking for me, does Brother Long, the counselor, know about it?"
"I have no idea about that. It’s highly unlikely, given that the principal ranks several levels above a counselor."
After saying this, Li Tianyi turned and walked away, but not before dropping a parting shot:
"Whether you go or not is up to you, but I suggest you’d better go, or you’ll regret it! Hahaha!"
Watching Li Tianyi swagger off with his loud laughter, Jiang Liuer, Zhu Ganglie, and Sha Sheng wished they could beat him up, then they turned to Li Ping’an and said:
"Ping’an, are you going or not? If you don’t want to, we three can go in your place. Just say you’re sick and can’t make it."
Li Ping’an had originally intended to use the Divine Dream Marrying Technique on class leader Li Tianyi, to sift through his memories for the reason behind this, but he felt that this mere mortal Li Tianyi was no longer worthy of provoking him into action. Even if he knew the reason, it wouldn’t change the fact that the principal was looking for him. Thus, he instructed Jiang Liuer, Zhu Ganglie, and Sha Sheng:
"Li Tianyi has always been a malicious creep, always harming people behind their backs. Him looking for trouble today without any good reason definitely means he’s up to no good. I’m not afraid of him, but to prevent any unexpected incidents, you three should hurry and inform Brother Long. He’s on good terms with the three of us. Even if I’ve done something wrong, he can still speak on my behalf in front of the principal."
"Yes!"
So, Li Ping’an and his group immediately set out to take action. Li Ping’an and Yuan Furong headed to the principal’s office, while Jiang Liuer, Zhu Ganglie, and Sha Sheng went to find Counselor Bai Long for help.
The first to reach the principal’s office were not Li Ping’an and Yuan Furong, but class leader Li Tianyi, who had been waiting for Li Ping’an at the door of the principal’s office.
"Li Ping’an, you came after all."
Class leader Li Tianyi stood at the door of the principal’s office and jeered at Li Ping’an and Yuan Furong as they appeared in the hallway.
Seeing this, Li Ping’an and Yuan Furong were even more convinced that class leader Li Tianyi was up to no good and had dug a big pit for Li Ping’an to fall into.
"You little rascal..."
As Li Ping’an walked, he sighed helplessly:
"It’s only the rule of law that’s protecting you; otherwise, you’d have been dead long ago!"
"Exactly, exactly. I can’t understand why you, a mere mortal, keep provoking him, a living immortal. It’s impossible between you and me; I already belong to Ping’an. Please, stop pining for me, would you?"
Yuan Furong beseeched class leader Li Tianyi, who was unbearably fake and shameless, in exasperation.
Class leader Li Tianyi, seeing how Yuan Furong was so devoted to Li Ping’an, the well-known clown and dork, dropped his pretense and revealed a very malicious expression, growling lowly:
"So that’s why you’re so fond of him. Looks like you’re just like those fools online, actually taking him for a living immortal!"
"But looking at you, Li Ping’an seems more like a cultist. Did he brainwash you? Yuan Furong, you’re bewitched! You need to see a psychiatrist!"
Yuan Furong was about to retort, but Li Ping’an covered her mouth gently and said:
"Didn’t you want me to teach you the way of cultivation? Now I will tell you the first rule of cultivation: harsh words wound the qi, anger wounds the spirit."
"Ping’an, I understand."
Yuan Furong then hugged Li Ping’an’s arm, gazing up at his handsome profile, and she couldn’t bear to glance even once more at the class president, Li Tianyi, that pile of dogshit.
Li Ping’an arrived at the Principal’s office door and said indifferently to the watchman, Li Tianyi:
"You talk too much garbage. I don’t care how you plan to scheme against me, just wait and see."
"Then just wait and see."
Class president Li Tianyi smiled confidently. As Li Ping’an was about to knock and notify the Principal, Li Tianyi, with his head held high in disdain, said:
"No need to knock. Just go in, the Principal has been waiting for you for a long time."
"Interesting..."
This was the first time Li Ping’an had a one-on-one meeting with the Principal of Hehuang University. If this were the usual Li Ping’an, he would have been nervous to death, but now, he just found the worldly scheming and shrewd plotting quite amusing, as ludicrous as a three-year-old child claiming to defeat a grown strongman.
The current Li Ping’an actually wanted to see what kind of schemes Li Tianyi had up his sleeve. So, without a second thought, he calmly pushed open the door of the Principal’s office and walked in with poise, with Yuan Furong following close behind.
"You cannot go in!"
Class president Li Tianyi directly stopped Yuan Furong from following.
"Why can’t I go in? Does the school belong to your family?"
"The school isn’t owned by my family, but that’s what the Principal ordered, so wait outside!"
Then, class president Li Tianyi entered the Principal’s office as well. Just as he closed the door, he revealed an extremely arrogant and sinister expression, muttering triumphantly:
"You chose not to side with me, you teamed up with Li Ping’an to make a fool of me! Today will be your doomsday! Hmph!"
With a snap, class president Li Tianyi slammed the office door shut and then stepped into the trap set for Li Ping’an.
"You..."
Yuan Furong, standing outside the Principal’s office, was so angry she felt helpless. She, who had never uttered a single curse word in her life, actually swore:
Li Tianyi, you big idiot!
Li Ping’an, who had never entered the Principal’s office, was visiting for the first time and took a careful look around.
The spacious office was bathed in brilliant sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, but who knew how much filth was hidden under the light.

Principal Leng Liangquan was sitting in front of his three-meter-long office desk. Usually known for his kind and affable manner, he now sat with a cold face, scrutinizing Li Ping’an as if he were a criminal, his eyes filled with disgust.
Beside Principal Leng Liangquan stood a man in a suit, though his back was turned, standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking outside, very mysterious.
As for class president Li Tianyi, after he shut the office door, he stood at the entrance like a jailer about to join the Principal and the mysterious person in judging Li Ping’an.
"This really is quite interesting."
Seeing that they had set up their Dragon Gate Formation, whether indifferent, disdainful, or awaiting a laugh, since they did not respect him, Li Ping’an felt no need to respect them either.
"Principal, you wanted to see me?"
As Li Ping’an spoke, he nonchalantly took a seat on the black sofa opposite Principal Leng Liangquan, leaning back lazily, then began fiddling with something from his pocket.
