Chapter 258: Chapter 195: Second Master Gets Jealous in a Funny Way 1_2
"My dear wife, you’d better be honest."
"Well... how could I remember?"
"So many that you can’t remember them all?" Hunter Warren’s face leaned in closer: "Are you trying to show off your charm?"
Faye Townsend sighed, "Oh dear uncle, I didn’t know you had such an imagination. Should I give you some kind of medal?"
"Uncle? Am I that old? Were all those chasing after you young lads?"
Faye pursed her lips several times, barely able to hold back her laughter.
Who would’ve thought that even the mighty second master could be so amusing when jealous.
Faye wrapped her arms around his waist, "How could you be old? Not old at all.
You’ve already proven that to me quite well."
Hunter flashed a seductive smile, touched her nose, "Cut the sweet talk and quit changing the subject.
Be honest, how many have pursued you, and was there anyone who made your heart flutter?"
Faye let out a sound, "About... as many as to line up from the doorstep to the gate of the neighborhood.
A heart-fluttering one... well, there was this young guy..."
She barely got that out before Hunter lowered his head, sealing her lips with a kiss.
Faye blinked her big eyes at him, and Hunter held the kiss for a good three minutes before slowly letting go.
"What’s the young guy’s name?"
"Ahem..." Faye rolled her eyes, "Forgotten; in my mind now, there’s only this incredibly charming man named Hunter Warren."
Hunter lifted her and carried her to the bed, "Smart move. From now on, erase every man in your mind, or else... I’ll wear you out."
Faye stifled a laugh, even the second master is so imposing when he’s jealous.
Could she make a strong request like, please wear me out?
However, the next morning, when she couldn’t get out of bed because of back pain, she somewhat regretted it.
Could this guy be a mind reader?
She had just muttered a little thought in her heart, and he actually... oh dear, her back.
Was she getting older, or was he just too energetic?
She lazily turned over in bed while Hunter came out of the bathroom.
Drops of water dripped from his hair onto his firm abs.
Faye closed her eyes with an "ahem" sound and averted her gaze. Why did this man have to keep himself in such good shape for no reason?
Hunter had moved to the bed and sat next to her with a suggestive look, "How’s my physique?"
Faye grinned, showing her teeth, and gave him a thumbs up, "Fantastic."
"Do you know why I keep in such good shape?"
"Um... why?"
Hunter’s lips moved close to her ear, his voice filled with mischief, "To handle you."
Faye raised her hand and knocked on his arm, "So improper, truly so improper."
He laughed as he got up from beside her, "Aren’t you getting up to go to work?"
"You knew I had to go to the office today, and yet you tormented me like that last night."
Hunter merely curled his lips into a smile without saying anything.
If he didn’t wear her out until she fell asleep, wouldn’t she just overthink at night?
Lucas Warren had come to their place just to show off, it was nothing to really worry about.
But she seemed to care a lot.
If he, her own husband, didn’t properly protect and comfort her, was he to expect anyone else to take his place?
With doting affection, he smiled at her and ruffled her hair, "No whining, get up quickly, or else... I won’t change and will hop right back in for another round."
Faye immediately bounced up, "Hunter Warren, you shameless."
Hunter chuckled as he went into the closet to change clothes.
Not long after, he came out looking refreshed and energetic.
Faye lazily brushed her teeth, leaning against the bathroom door, "Uncle Rivers said Clara is getting discharged this morning, so I might have to find time to go to the hospital."
"That’s fine, but stay away from Oliver Turner."
"We weren’t that close anyway, okay?"
"Doesn’t matter, you get closer to him, and I’ll get closer to you." Hunter said, winking at her mischievously.
Faye turned and entered the bathroom, slamming the door shut with a bang.
Did this uncle have to drive at every disagreement? Can’t take it, just can’t take it at all.
How come she didn’t know before that Hunter Warren was such a second master?
Too... improper.
Faye went to the hospital from her office.
When she arrived, Oliver Turner was already there.
The servant he brought was helping Clara pack her belongings.
When Faye entered, the servants politely bowed to her, "Miss Townsend."
Faye lightly pressed her lips and nodded to everyone.
