Chapter 250: Chapter 191 Second Master Warren Sebastian Sheldon What Does He Count For You 2/4

Hunter Warren looked at her, "It’s the truth. No need to think too hard about it. She was my sister-in-law after all."

Faye curved her lips, her smile becoming more radiant due to her happiness.

The two quietly walked to the front row and sat at the same table as Grayson Forrest.

As soon as they arrived, Grayson asked Faye, "Why are you so late?"

Hunter chuckled, "There were a few journalists at the entrance, so I helped Faye handle them."

Grayson nodded, "Are they gone?"

"I arranged for them to have a meal upstairs."

"I see."

Faye leaned closer to Grayson and whispered, "Uncle Forrest, who would’ve thought Brooke could look so pretty with makeup."

"There’s no such thing as an ugly woman, only a lazy woman — that’s never been just a saying."

Grayson looked fondly at Faye, "To be honest, although Brooke suffered under Richard Townsend,

she also found a blessing in disguise. Her parents’ medical expenses are covered, and she became a young madam of a wealthy family."

Faye smiled casually, "Young madam of a wealthy family? I believe she doesn’t quite like it.

Not everyone only dreams of marrying into a wealthy family. Some just want simple happiness.

If it weren’t for her parents, I think Brooke would have preferred to live a life of her own."

Grayson simply smiled without saying anything.

They watched the wedding together, and after it ended, the banquet began.

Hunter got up to help, as Richard Townsend and Eliana Brooke went from table to table toasting.

Compared to a true high-society wedding, Richard’s wedding wasn’t anything extravagant; it was low-key, but still luxurious.

By the time everything was almost done, it was already nearly two o’clock, and after lunch, guests began to leave one after another.

Richard Townsend and Eliana Brooke finished toasting and finally got some time to rest.

After the guests left, Richard and Eliana went to change clothes.

Uncle Forrest was about to leave, so Faye personally wheeled him out.

The entire banquet hall was left with only Hunter attending to the guests.

Outside the banquet hall, Faye noticed that Sebastian Sheldon was still sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window in the corridor. Her white gown made her stand out.

Seeing Faye, she turned her head to look out the window, her eyes red, seemingly having cried for a long time.

With Uncle Forrest present, Faye said nothing, merely pushing him outside.

Before leaving, Grayson advised, "Faye, now that your brother has settled down, tell him to hurry up and have kids.

That way, he would be fulfilling some obligations for the Townsend Family."

Faye laughed, "He might not listen to me that much."

"That’s the only use he has. Otherwise, the Townsend Family doesn’t need him at all."

Faye laughed, "Alright, Uncle Forrest, I understand. Take good care of yourself. I’ll visit with the kids over the weekend."

"Ah, I even thought of having those two kids stay at my villa for a while.

It gets really lonely at home with just an old man."

Faye smiled and nodded, "Sure, I’ll talk to them about it. Maybe they can stay with you for a week."

Hearing Faye’s words, Grayson finally left with peace of mind.

On her way back, she saw Sebastian and looked at her from above, "Why are you still here?"

"If I’m not here, where else can I go? Thinking about going back and getting beaten, I honestly don’t know how to walk out of this hotel’s door."

Sebastian raised her eyes to look at Faye, "Faye, have you really...never thought you owed me an apology?

Have you really never wanted to say sorry to me?

Having me end up like this, have you really never thought there might be consequences?

Back when I was with Hunter, you kept pestering him right in front of me, and I never hurt you, did I?

Why treat me this way? Have you really never regretted it?"

Sebastian cried, looking pitiful, as Faye bit her lip and clenched her fists while looking at her, "No, I have never regretted it.

Why should I? I knew him first, and I was pursuing him before you got together with him.

This wasn’t a secret back then; everyone in our high society circle knew.

As long as you weren’t married, my chances were as good as yours.

So, why should I feel sorry for you?

Sebastian, stop fighting a battle you can’t win.

I...won’t give up the happiness I’ve fought so hard for to you.

To protect my relationship with Hunter Warren, I can do things even more repulsive than I did eight years ago.

So I advise you, don’t humiliate yourself further."

After Faye finished speaking, she turned and left, her face showing a less confident determination.

She found Hunter at the door of the lounge.

He was waiting for her. Seeing her come in, he handed her coat to her, "Uncle Forrest left?"

"Yes, Hunter, I want to take you somewhere." She draped the coat over her shoulders and took his hand, leading him to the back door of the banquet hall.

Hunter was puzzled, "Where to?"

Faye clenched her fist, "To tell you the truth about why Sebastian left eight years ago."
