Zeno’s heart thudded his chest when he heard the familiar voice; he desperately wished Sebastian wouldn’t recognize it too; he’d already faced enough drama.

Sebastian slowly turned and faced the girls, his eyes instantly scanned the new girl, recognizing her immediately.

He felt his heart shudder and he purposely stood in front of Zeno, not allowing him to see the girl in front of him.

Zeno tried to walk out from behind Sebastian but Sebastian caught his wrist and held him back.

"And what’s your name, sugar?" Sebastian asked the new girl.

"I’m really sorry, guys, this is just a little misunderstanding; I promise your next visit won’t be the same," Kora was about to kiss Zeno but Sebastian’s hand stopped her.

He held her back by the shoulder and pointed behind her, "She went that way," He informed her.

"Oh, thank you," She nodded and immediately took off running in the opposite direction.

Zeno sighed, in relief and tiredness.

"Boss, I’m currently outside, I think there’s a situation," Ida spoke to Sebastian through the earpiece.

Sebastian frowned, he held Zeno’s wrist and led him out of the building.

"Wait, are we not going to check other-"

"Enough for the night," Sebastian silenced Zeno with his deep voice and continued to drag him out.

Zeno recognized the path they’d passed before and was impressed by how Sebastian got to remember the way back out, left for him, he’d just be lost.

They stepped outside and found three guys surrounding Ida.

"What the fuck?" Zeno muttered.

Why does this have to happen? Were they busted? He hoped not because, with his current health condition, he couldn’t even fight with a toddler.

Sebastian slowly approached Ida and realized that the guys were the security guys who were at the gate when they were coming.

Does it mean the gate was left unattended?

As he reached them, he looked at the gate and confirmed his suspicion, the gate was really left unattended.

What could have happened between the security men and Ida?

"What’s going on here, gentlemen?" Sebastian questioned as he stood beside Ida.

He used his peripheral vision to see Zeno standing behind one of the security men.

"It’s just a little misunderstanding..." Ida responded.

"He caused trouble," The recruit replied, glaring at Ida.

"He did?" Sebastian asked in a deathly manner, sending chills down Ida’s spine.

"He punched a guy and made a run for it," The first security guy informed.

Sebastian looked at Ida, and in the next second, he punched him.

"Ugh!" Ida grunted and staggered back, holding the side of his lips that was now bleeding.

"Does that solve the problem?" Sebastian asked.

"I’m sorry, but no one leaves the building until the boss says so," The first security guy replied.

"Please, return to the building and stay calm until the boss arrives," he added and was about to return to their post when Zeno suddenly saw a small figure crawling behind the small shrubs beside the fence.

It was Ash.

He couldn’t allow them to see her.

"Hey," He tapped one of the security men’s shoulder.

"Yes, how can we - Fuck!" He fell to the floor from Zeno’s hard punch in the throat.

"Read my mind, Sweetheart," Sebastian whispered to Zeno and immediately brought out his gun.

Zeno’s eyes widened in surprise as he saw Sebastian’s gun, "Wh...wait, why-"

"Get him!" The first security guy pointed at Zeno.

"Not tonight, boys," Sebastian raised his gun and shot the guys on their legs.

"Argh! Fucking shoot them!" The first security guys ordered from the floor.

"Move your ass, Cutie," Sebastian slapped Zeno’s ass and grabbed his hand.

Ida was already at the gate, holding it open for Sebastian and Zeno.

The security men started to fire at them, but their aim wasn’t focused as they were all in pain.

Zeno reached the gate and paused, "What the fuck, Zeno? Come on!" Ida pointed outside for him.

Sebastian was behind Zeno, frowning at his sudden halt.

"Come on, hurry, we won’t hurt you!" Zeno moved to the shrub and lowered himself to the floor.

Sebastian immediately walked over and saw Ash shivering on the ground.

"For fuck’s sake, come on," He grabbed Zeno’s hand and pushed him toward the gate, and followed him out, he wanted to make sure Zeno didn’t go anywhere else.

"Get her out," Sebastian ordered Ida as he left.

The security men were trying to stand on their feet, aiming their guns at Ida.

Ida furrowed his brow but quickly went over to the shrub, and then lifted the sacred naked girl in his arm and ran out of the gate.

The car was already waiting for them in front of the gate, and he immediately put the girl behind the car and entered the front door.

"Drive, Andre," Sebastian ordered.

"Yes, boss," Andre sped the car off like lightning.

Behind the car, Ash sat beside the door, shivering in fear.

"P-please...Just let me go, I’ll not tell anyone about ’The Prince,’ Darren..." Ash cried.

Zeno didn’t know how to reply; he was battling a painful headache now, and he couldn’t even make out Ash’s face clearly.

Sebastian scoffed, "Who gives a fuck about Darren? Put this on," He pulled his shirt off and threw it to Ash.

He didn’t like the fact that she was sitting naked beside Zeno, he’d rather be naked beside Zeno than allow a woman to sit naked beside him.

With shaky hands, Ash quickly pulled the shirt over her head, a little sense of privacy returning to her.

She was surprised to hear Sebastian talk that way about Darren. Wasn’t he working for him? Was he a traitor?

Zeno looked at Sebastian, who was now bare-chested, and quickly removed his eyes.

Zeno was losing air; he removed the mask and placed it on his lap, sighing in relief; the mask was starting to bite at his skin.

Sebastian only spared a glance before he asked Andre to drive faster.

Poor Ash sat in fear through the ride and when the car finally entered Sebastian’s compound, her heart started beating rapidly.

Ida quickly got down and opened the door for Sebastian, bowing as his boss stepped out of the car.

He looked inside the car and saw Zeno resting his head on his hand.

"Come this way," Andre said to Ash and led her away.

"Hey, man, are you okay?" Ida tapped Zeno’s shoulder.

Zeno slowly raised his head, "I’m good," his voice was cracked, making Ida not believe him.

Ida watched him get down from the car, eyeing him suspiciously.

Zeno felt light; he had just taken two steps forward when he felt himself losing consciousness and falling backward to the floor.

"Zeno!!!" Ida exclaimed and ran toward him, catching him before he could fall to the ground.

Sebastian was already at the foot of the stairs when he realized that Zeno wasn’t following him behind.

He suddenly heard Ida shouting Zeno’s name in fear and immediately turned to see what happened.

Sebastian never knew anything could scare him in his life, but as he stared at Zeno’s unconscious figure lying in Ida’s arms, his heart flew out of his chest, almost leaving him lifeless too.

He rushed over them and carried Zeno from Ida.

"I got him; call Ezra right away," He carried Zeno bridal style and hurried into the house.

He just noticed that his body was super hot, how had he missed such a thing throughout the whole night?
