Chapter 100: Chapter 100

Sebastian dressed Zeno’s wounded before they got on his bed and prepared to sleep.

Zeno felt it. He knew that Sebastian didn’t want to talk about the topic he had brought up earlier, but he wasn’t going to sleep without getting at least an insight into what Georgia and Johan were talking about.

He watched Sebastian as he got comfortable on the pillow and decided to try again.

"Seb?" Zeno called quietly.

Sebastian paused what he was doing and looked at Zeno.

"You need something?" He asked.

Zeno shook his head and nodded immediately; he did need something, answers.

Sebastian smiled. He knew what Zeno wanted, and maybe it was time he told him he was now his partner; there was no use keeping his pasts away from him.

He relaxed on the pillow and spread his arm for Zeno. "Come here," He invited with an endearing look.

Zeno obeyed and went over to Sebastian’s side of the bed; he lay beside him and placed his head on his chest.

Sebastian sighed and wrapped his arms around Zeno, kissing the top of his head.

"You want to know what happened between me and Georgia, right?" Sebastian asked quietly.

Zeno was surprised and happy, Sebastian was trusting him more and more as days went by. It meant that he was ready to deepen their relationship.

"Ezra told me that if you loved me enough you’d tell me," Zeno said faintly, watching Sebastian’s reaction.

"So you now need someone to convince you about my feelings for you?" Sebastian frowned slightly.

"Then tell me?" Zeno persisted.

"No," Sebastian said, smirking.

Zenoe sighed, "Then you don’t love me,"

Sebastian chuckled. "I’ll tell you,"

"Yes, are you willing to tell me? Or, am I asking too much and intruding?" Zeno asked.

Sebastian shook his head, "You’re never introducing, Zeno. It’s not even that serious, well, back then it was, but not anymore."

Zeno was quiet, patiently waiting for Sebastian to start his story.

"Six years ago, my parents thought it’d be a good idea to form an alliance with the Einstein family, I agreed to it at first, but not until they told me how they planned to form that alliance did I realize that I shouldn’t have been in support in the first place," Sebastian put his fingers in Zeno’s hair and massaged his skull.

"So they forced you to marry Georgia?" Zeno questioned.

Sebastian nodded. "They did, but I refused. Georgia made everyone believe that she was so into me, and it now seemed like I was the heartless and inconsiderate one who rejected a girl’s love at the same time and refused to be of use to the family. But I didn’t care, I still refused to marry her."

Zeno frowned, "Then...how did Ken come if you never married her?"

Sebastian chuckled, "They never stopped pestering me..." He paused, reminiscing the past.

"My father tried his best to convince me, my mother too, but nothing worked. Firstly, I didn’t want to get married; secondly, even if I decided to marry, it would be my choice, not because of some family obligation or taking pity on the girl who was pretending to love me," His fingers moved to the side of Zeno’s head, gently continuing his massage.

"My father wanted me to take on his business, but I didn’t like it, it’s no news that my father was the leader of the underworld back then, involved exclusively in drugs; he was untouchable, and no one could stop him. I didn’t want to get into that kind of lifestyle, so I started my own businesses where I produced motorbikes, these types you like to ride," he chuckled.

Zeno smiled, "You did notice my bike," he murmured.

"I did," He kissed the top of Zeno’s head and continued.

"For a while, I thought everyone had forgotten about the marriage proposal, until a month later when my father brought it up again; he even went as far as asking my best friend to speak to me about it...he did, but I still refused, my mother was very disappointed in me. I didn’t care, I was more focused on my business and myself,"

"Your best friend? Nicholas or Ezra?" Zeno looked up at him.

Sebastian slowly shook his head, "None of them, but you have met him," He sounded mysterious.

"Then, who is it, tell me already," Zeno tapped Sebastian’s tummy impatiently.

"His name was Johan," Sebastian informed.

Zeno paused and frowned.

He blinked as he tried to connect the dots, but it just seemed unbelievable to him.

"Johan...as in, the guy I saw with Georgia?" Zeno slowly blinked at Sebastian.

Sebastian confirmed with a nod. "Same one. He was my best friend six years ago,"

Zeno sighed, "Wow, this is twisted, I guess," He chuckled.

"It was. After Johan tried to convince me, and when he saw that I wasn’t changing my mind, he let it go, or so I thought. One night, my father held a party in his mansion, however, I never knew that my parents had planned with Johan to drug me and make me sleep with Georgia. I only found myself naked in bed with a girl I didn’t like." Sebastian gritted his teeth.

Zeno frowned, he was angry, although it had happened years ago, but no one should be treated that way, especially from a patent and a friend.

"That’s... unforgivable; I’m sorry you had to go through that," Zeno caressed Sebastian’s chest, placing a soft kiss on his sternum.

Sebastian smiled. Maybe all these years, all he needed was just someone to share his pasts with, and he was glad he had found the right person; he wouldn’t have wanted any other person if not Zeno.

"It’s alright, Love." He replied.

"Um, can I ask further?" Zeno smiled up at Sebastian, his curiosity was killing him.

Sebastian laughed softly, "Don’t worry, my curiosity cat, I’ll tell you," He said.

"I was mad at everyone, I even had to travel out of the country, but Johan called me and told me the news, I was so pissed, but because of our family tradition, I had to marry Georgia because she now carried my child, an heir to the Orion family, that was the worst mistake I made," Sebastian scoffed.

"It was a loveless marriage, but it pleaded my parents. Georgia’s father was a governor of a City, and my father could now expand his business to that side of the country. No one cared how I felt, and I knew I was alone; even Georgia stopped pretending to love me; it’d not as if I wanted her lice, but she just proved to me that I’d been right in my suspicions," Sebastian sighed.

Zeno remained quiet, sensing the regret in Sebastian’s voice.

"But, you don’t regret having Ken as your son, right?" He asked cautiously.

Sebastian frowned, "I’ve never regretted having my son, he’s the only good thing I got from that chaos of a marriage. I never had sex with Georgia throughout our marriage. I knew she was cheating, but I didn’t care to know who she was doing it with; I even wanted her to keep it up so I could get evidence and have a reason for a divorce. However, I never knew that as I was taking my time to plan her exposure, she was planning something else behind my back."

"What did she do?" Zeno questioned.

"I employed Johan as my assistant in my company, he knew everything about it, another mistake I made. Two weeks after Ken was born, Georgia left the baby with me and eloped with Johan, that was when I realized that my best friend was the person my so-called wife was cheating on me with. Johan transferred everything from my bank to his and sold all my produced vehicles; I was left with nothing." Sebastian chuckled darkly.

"Shit...he’s such a coward, they deserve each other; maybe I should have just left a souvenir between his eyes in the morning, bastard," Zenon was muttering angrily.

Sebastian laughed, "Don’t worry, I’m not stressing myself with him anymore, he’s already living a worthless life. I made him a wanted man all over the world, and that’s why he came back to his country and hid; he dared not leave that house. It’s funny how he thinks I don’t know where he is; he doesn’t know that I just let him be because the moment he leaves his house, he’ll be dead. My men are looking out for him, he’s living his consequences,"

Zeno suddenly thought of something and frowned, "Hey, you say you don’t love Georgia, right?" He asked.

Sebastian nodded, "You already know who I love, baby," He replied.

"Then, why are you still so vengeful toward him? You’re still trying to get revenge on him for sleeping with your wife," Zeno pointed out.

Sebastian burst out laughing, "Oh, come on, baby, this was never about Georgia. I don’t give a flying fuck about her. This is me taking revenge on him for stealing from me. How dare he take away my life’s work, making me start from scratch, nah, he’s got to pay for that for the rest of his life,"

"Oh..." Zeno nodded, understanding the situation better.

"My mother was the one who sent my divorce papers to Georgia’s father, and because she knew that I was left with nothing, and because she was aware that I would never ask my father for money, she signed it without problem," Sebastian explained.

"Then, what does she want now? Why is she suddenly asking you to take her back?" Zeno frowned.

"Money and freedom," Sebastian stated.

"After the divorce, I did start over, but I also took over my father’s business; I needed the manpower and status to put Johan in his current condition. So, Georgia is back because her boyfriend is out of money due to his condition. I don’t know the weed she’s been smoking that made her believe that I’d want to get married to her for the second time when the first marriage was even my choice. She wants to get close to me and take my money after she has convinced me to remove the bounty from Johan. That’s her silly scheme...it’s so funny how transparent she is...and that’s why you don’t have to worry, she’s not your completion, not even close...you’re one in a billion, baby girl, that’s why I fell for you. You were meant for me," He whispered.

Zeno looked up at Sebastian, "I’m really sorry you had to go through all that; maybe you should also put a bounty on Georgia, it’d stop her from planning silly schemes," He suggested.

Sebastian frowned and groaned. "Come on; enough of them; I just said something sweet to you, and all you can think about is them? I’m offended," He pouted.

Zeno chuckled at Sebastian’s playful and funny face.

"Aww, don’t sulk, baby, you know you’re my world," Zeno drew him down with him as he fell back on the bed, kissing his lips and hugging him.
