Chapter 503: To Oceanis (I)

A wide smile spread across Vlad’s face as he surveyed the massive warships assembled along the shore. These gargantuan vessels were more than just tools of transportation; they were instruments of power and precision, their destructive potential capable of rivaling small nuclear bombs. Their sheer presence radiated an aura of invincibility, a testament to the technological and magical mastery of the Xaos Kingdom. They would draw awe and respect in all those who saw them.

Below, thousands of soldiers marched in disciplined formations, boarding the warships with military precision. Each soldier wore armor crafted to perfection, their weapons gleaming with enchantments designed to pierce even the most formidable demon hide. Among this assembly, not a single soldier was below Level 5. Their training, cohesion, and advanced equipment ensured that even a Champion-tier demon would find itself overwhelmed in one-on-one combat.

But Vlad understood that their true strength did not lie in individual prowess. The power of the Xaos Kingdom’s military resided in its unity and its soldiers’ ability to work together as one. Their formations were polished to perfection, amplifying their collective might so that the strength of ten could rival fifty.

As the soldiers marched into the ships, their expressions revealed more than just battle readiness. Their eyes shone with a combination of hope, determination, and exhilaration. They weren’t marching for simple conquest or personal gain. They were marching for a cause far greater, to eradicate alien threats that saw humanity as either food or slaves and establish a world of justice and meritocracy—a world worth fighting for with every ounce of strength they possessed.

Vlad’s gaze lingered on the scene, feeling the raw emotions surging through the soldiers. He admired their unwavering resolve, their sense of purpose. It was in moments like this that he felt the gravity of his role, leading not just an army but an entire civilization toward a brighter future. As he absorbed the energy of the moment, a figure rose from the ground, ascending into the sky to meet him.

"Prime Master," the figure called out. It was Overlord, his tone calm and analitic as always. With a slight bow, the A.I. Chip Clone continued, "The ships and soldiers will be ready in approximately thirty-six hours. After that, we will march into Oceanis."

Vlad nodded thoughtfully. Oceanis was their first target—a continent entirely surrounded by water, isolated and strategically advantageous. By seizing Oceanis, the Xaos Kingdom would create a foothold for its operations, a springboard to launch campaigns across the other continents. The plan was meticulous. They would implement the Threefold Path for Demons, Angels, and Monsters in Oceanis, using it as a testing ground to refine their strategies. While the approach made it seem they were using the continent for a field experiment, it was necessary. Success in Oceanis would set the tone for their expansion and ensure the path forward was clear.

"How secure are things in the Asani Continent?" Vlad asked, his tone sharp. Before committing to the campaign, he needed absolute assurance that the homeland of the Xaos Kingdom was protected. The thought of leaving his civilian population vulnerable was anathema to him. After all, how much of a bad joke would it be if they went to secure other continents only for their home to be razed by their enemies?

Overlord’s expression remained steady. "We have eradicated all major threats in both Asani and Moonson. My Sentinels are actively patrolling the landmasses and have detected no significant danger."

Vlad nodded, appreciating Overlord’s thoroughness. However, he knew that security was never absolute. Even now, portals from the Abyss and Heaven occasionally open on Terra, unleashing hordes of demons and angels. Overlord, ever meticulous, had prepared for such contingencies.

"All civilians are concentrated in Xaos City and the surrounding settlements," Overlord continued. "In the event of an incursion, they can take immediate shelter. The Azarin and Turkin States have similar measures in place. Forces left behind are sufficient to repel even hordes numbering in the millions, led by Guardians. They may not achieve outright victory, but they will hold the line long enough for our strongest to return."

Vlad analyzed the information, weighing every detail before nodding in approval. He and Fafnir could fly at Mach 5, so it would take them less than three hours to reach the Xoas Kingdom, even if they were in the farthest location of Terra.

The preparations were sound, and the Xaos Kingdom was secure, so Vlad was satisfied. "Excellent," he said, his voice firm. His gaze shifted to the horizon, his eyes burning with determination. "Let us not waste any more time. The faster we move, the sooner the world will see our light."

Overlord bowed once more and resumed coordinating the preparations. The hours passed in a flurry of activity. More soldiers arrived, and their disciplined movements were a testament to their readiness. Weapons and armor were efficiently loaded into spatial rings, leaving ample room aboard the ships. The air buzzed with anticipation as dawn approached, bathing the fleet in golden light.

One by one, the warships began to move, their engines roaring to life as they left the shore and entered the vast ocean. The sight of hundreds of these massive vessels, each a floating fortress, was awe-inspiring. They moved with purpose, their silhouettes a symbol of the Xaos Kingdom’s unyielding will.

High above, Vlad hovered in the sky, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings for any potential threats. Always vigilant, his senses remained on high alert. A smile crept onto his face as he sensed a familiar presence approaching.

"Teacher!" The voice was deep and resonant. It belonged to the Depravita of Envy. The massive flaming dragon soared through the sky, his presence as commanding as the warships below. With a slight bow, Fafnir addressed Vlad. "All is proceeding as planned. The Thiamatos units are ready and will begin clearing the ocean’s path."

"Good," Vlad replied, his voice calm yet resolute. "How wonder how far the humans in the other country have advanced."
