Vlad did not have the luxury of diverting his focus from the Draco Leviathan Lord, though every fiber of his being yearned to aid the soldiers who had followed him here. He was painfully aware that those loyal men and women who had chosen to stand by his side on this grim battlefield were perishing one after another. Although Vlad’s willpower and ego had advanced substantially since the apocalypse began, the weight of so many lives lost still cut deep into his soul. It was a burden he could scarcely bear, a relentless reminder that the war needed to end as soon as possible. He had to keep pushing forward, no matter the cost.

"ARGGGHHH!"

A roar of fury burst from the Depravita of Wrath as he seized the head of the Draco Leviathan Lord. Pouring the might of his Heart of Wrath into his muscles, he forced the massive creature’s skull against the jagged surface of the obsidian obelisk. Sparks and fragments of organic matter scattered as the Leviathan Lord’s face scraped against Terra’s hardest structure.

Vlad rose into the air, dragging the monstrous being with him. Agonizing pain was etched into the Leviathan Lord’s features as its skin tore, but it refused to remain helpless for long. Twisting its gargantuan body, it wrenched itself free of Vlad’s grip. Within the blink of an eye, it snatched Vlad, pressing him against the obelisk before driving a ferocious punch at him.

"BOOM!"

The blow hit with such immense force that it resonated across the sky, reaching to the ground. Vlad felt every breath in his lungs forced out in a single rush. Before he could recover, a second blow, equally as potent as the first, came crashing down.

"BOOM!"

This time, a mouthful of blood burst from the Depravita of Wrath. He felt his internal organs shudder under the punishing impact, pain radiating through his chest. Then, a third blow followed. Yet just as it was about to land, Vlad twisted sideways, allowing the Leviathan’s punch to slam into the obelisk. The Draco Leviathan Lord’s eyes widened in shock as it felt the bones in its own hand cracking from the collision with the impossibly hard monument.

Vlad capitalized on that moment of surprise. His eyes glowed like embers stoked by a raging fire, and in the next instant, he unleashed a second laser beam directly into the Draco Leviathan Lord’s face. The scorching attack burst one of the monster’s eyes, reducing it to a smoldering pulp.

"ROOOOAAARR!"

An agonized scream tore from the Draco Leviathan Lord as it lost one eye and part of its face. The searing pain magnified its fury, prompting it to unleash a wild barrage of punches like a berserk creature.

"ARRGGHHHH!"

Vlad refused to back down under the Leviathan’s frenzied onslaught. His wrathful energy erupted, meeting the beast’s blows with his own fists. Fire and lightning coalesced around his arms, amplifying each strike to terrifying levels.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

A chain of detonations reverberated through the heavens as the Depravita of Wrath and the Draco Leviathan Lord slammed into each other without mercy. Wounds surfaced across both combatants’ bodies, their flesh and scales scorched, bruised, and bleeding.

At last, Vlad’s eyes narrowed with newfound resolve. He tilted his head just enough for a massive fist to graze his cheek, and in the same motion, he countered with a single ferocious blow to the Leviathan’s face. The impact carried such staggering power and momentum that it sent the Draco Leviathan Lord hurtling toward the ground. The monster crashed with phenomenal might, rupturing the earth in a shuddering explosion of dust and rock.

Without missing a beat, Vlad descended after the Levithan Lord, his aura blazing with lethal intent. He gathered a substantial mass of lightning and fire into his leg. Even so, the Draco Leviathan Lord, though battered, refused to capitulate. Rising from the crater, it met Vlad’s descending kick with a colossal fist.

"BOOOOOOMMMM!"

A thunderous blast resulted from the collision of foot and fist, the sheer enormity of the meeting sending the Sky Seed Depravita and the Leviathan Lord reeling backward. Hatred, frustration, and a terrifying thirst for killing surged within Vlad’s soul as the Draco Leviathan Lord managed, time and again, to survive his attacks. The burden of his wrath threatened to swallow him. Yet, just as he was about to lose himself to that raging storm of emotion, a meaningful light flickered across his eyes.

Determination solidified upon Vlad’s face. He fired his last laser beam at the Draco Leviathan Lord. The straightforward, telegraphed nature of the shot made it simple to avoid. A smug grin touched the edges of the Leviathan Lord’s mangled mouth as though it believed Vlad had finally run out of cunning.

"SHHIEEK!"

Yet, the next second, a scream of pain tore through the air, but it did not belong to just any Leviathan—it belonged to a Leviathan Lord. The Draco Leviathan Lord’s single remaining eye swiveled in disbelief, tracking the origin of the cry. To its shock, the laser beam had landed on the back of the Multi-Arm Leviathan Lord. At that moment, the Draco Leviathan Lord realized that the Multi-Arm Leviathan Lord had been Vlad’s true target.

The Multi-Arm Leviathan Lord, completely caught off guard, roared in agony as the attack pushed its body forward, straight toward the Divine Avatar, who readied an immense pool of Divine Force in his sword—a weapon that now seemed to devour all sunlight around it. Every ray of light was siphoned off to feed its deadly power.

"Nightfall!"

Overlord uttered the word, his voice ringing with finality as he slashed his sword with every ounce of power he had in his body. The next second, all sunlight that had been absorbed into the blade vanished. The air around him was shrouded in abrupt darkness, a void that eclipsed the battlefield for a heartbeat. Then, the head of the Multi-Arm Leviathan Lord separated from the rest of its colossal body. No chance to dodge, no moment to roar—the Leviathan Lord’s demise was immediate, its body collapsing in a spectacular spray of blood.
