Chapter 410: Vlad vs Divine Leviathan (II)

Vlad made his energy explode as he rose to the sky once more. Force in the form of lightning and fire cloaked his arms. He realized that he would have to rely solely on his own body from now on; normal weapons could no longer endure the intensity of this fight. The earlier destruction of his halberd had proven that.

The Divine Leviathan regained control over its grotesque body just in time to see the Depravita of Wrath lunging toward it. It clenched its massive fist, corrupted golden energy swirling around it. The air between them crackled with tension as they closed the distance in the blink of an eye.

"THOOM!"

Vlad and the monstrosity locked punches in the next second, their fists colliding with a force that sent shockwaves rippling outward. Waves of demonic lightning and fire exploded from Vlad’s fist while corrupt golden energy burst from the Divine Leviathan’s. The clash of energies lit up the sky, a blinding flash.

A sharp light appeared in Vlad’s eyes as he realized he was able to release an even higher destructive output using his own body instead of a weapon. The sensation was exhilarating; he could feel the immense power coursing through his bones and muscles, far surpassing any strength he had wielded before.

Not wasting a moment, Vlad twisted his body to the side, allowing the Divine Leviathan’s fist to push past him with its own momentum. Seizing the opportunity, he delivered a swift kick right into the neck of the massive monster.

"CRACK!"

The force of the blow sent the Divine Leviathan flying away, its grotesque form tumbling through the sky. Vlad’s smile widened as he saw how his martial skills were even better when using his body instead of a weapon. He did not waste time; with a burst of speed, he chased after the Divine Leviathan, intending to unleash an onslaught.

But the Divine Leviathan was not weak either. Just as Vlad dove toward it, the creature managed to twist its entire body mid-air, generating an overwhelming centrifugal force. The rapid spin created a vortex of corrupt energy that repelled Vlad’s dive, forcing him to veer off course. It was clear that the hive mind’s martial skills were superb as well.

Vlad immediately regained control over his body. Without hesitation, he flashed back into the fray, determination burning in his eyes.

The Depravita and Leviathan clashed again, moving through the sky with such speed that they appeared as blurs of light and shadow. Vlad’s fists burst with lightning and fire, each strike releasing thunderous booms that echoed across the battlefield. The Divine Leviathan met him blow for blow; its own attacks shrouded in dark golden energy.

They exchanged rapid punches and kicks, each movement sharp and precise. The sky around them became a maelstrom of conflicting energies, the air trembling under the strain of their power. To the soldiers below, it was as if two gods were waging war!

Vlad ducked under a sweeping strike from the Divine Leviathan, countering with an uppercut that grazed the creature’s chin. The monster retaliated with a backhanded slap, but Vlad deflected it with a forearm block, sparks flying from the impact.

They charged at each other once more. Vlad unleashed a barrage of fiery punches, his fists leaving trails of flame in the air. The Divine Leviathan parried with its massive arms, but the force of Vlad’s attacks began to take a toll. Cracks appeared on the creature’s exoskeleton, thin lines that glowed with inner heat.

Seeing an opening, Vlad spun and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to the Divine Leviathan’s side.

"WHAM!"

The impact sent the monster skidding sideways, but it quickly recovered, lunging forward with surprising agility for its size. It slammed its fist into Vlad’s shoulder, and he felt a sharp pain as the blow connected. ¿

They continued their fierce exchange, neither willing to back down. Wounds began to appear on both of them. Vlad could feel bruises forming beneath his skin, and a trickle of blood ran down his forehead from a shallow cut. The Divine Leviathan’s exoskeleton showed more cracks, and dark plasma oozed from the fissures.

In a decisive moment, Vlad gathered his remaining strength. His fists glowed brighter than ever, lightning arcing between his fingers, flames roaring around his arms.

"Take this!" he shouted.

He surged upward, delivering a ferocious uppercut aimed at the Divine Leviathan’s jaw. At the same time, the monster brought its massive fist down in a point-blank blow aimed at Vlad’s chest.

"BOOM!"

Both attacks landed simultaneously. Vlad’s uppercut connected with devastating force, snapping the Divine Leviathan’s head back. The creature’s own strike hammered into Vlad’s chest.

They were both sent flying away from each other, the force of their combined attacks creating a shockwave that rippled across the sky. Vlad felt a searing pain in his chest, and he coughed up a mouthful of blood. The Divine Leviathan was similarly affected, dark plasma spilling from its mouth as it recoiled.

Despite the damage they took, the Depravita and Leviathan managed to regain control very quickly. Hovering in the air, they locked eyes, each assessing the other’s strength and searching for any signs of weakness. The world around them seemed to fade away as they focused entirely on the battle.

Vlad’s eyes were sharp as he took the moment to command the A.I. Chip. "Analyze," he thought.

The next second, the robotic voice of the A.I. Chip echoed in his mind.

Although Vlad maintained his composure, a sharp light crossed his eyes as he realized why his body could now deploy more destructive power and had higher durability than a Guardian Tier weapon. His strength and vitality had more than doubled since his last scan despite having only advanced one level in energy and body. It showcased just how majestic and shocking the evolution of his Life Level to the Sage Tier was.

"So this is the power of a Sage," he thought, feeling a surge of confidence.

As for the Depravita Aura, it was a unique energy residing within his Soul Dimension. It had allowed him to create that massive sphere of magma that nearly wiped out half of the Leviathan swarm earlier. He knew he could use each of those Waves of Depravita Aura to cast a spell at the peak of the Guardian Tier, but he had to be cautious. It would take several hours, or maybe even days, to recharge them.

But Vlad’s own stats were not the only thing the A.I. Chip analyzed. From the start of the fight, the scanning force had been working on the Divine Leviathan, and the information finally appeared in Vlad’s mind.
