Chapter 135: Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental

While lightning strikes were capable of killing demonic beasts and even Champion demons, it should not have been enough to take down a High Champion Abyssal, but it did not need to.

The lightning strikes did not need to kill the High Champion Abyssal, only stop his passage long enough for the Abyssal Lord to no longer be able to support the portal that led from Abyssa to Terra.

Once you go through a portal that connects planes billions of kilometers away, you can’t merely pull back if things go wrong. Once the Abyssal Lord’s supernatural power no longer supported the portal, it faded, and the part of the High Champion Abyssal that was not out of it must have fused with the rock. Even a Guardian would have perished if half of their body was pulverized by rocks, much less a Champion.

After the death of the High Champion Abyssal, the lightning must have continued striking the corpse, fusing with his blood and the flesh of the thousands of demonic beasts, giving birth to the Molten Demonblood Essence.

Vlad finished his analysis and was sure he was at least 90% right.

’I guess we were lucky.’ The young man could not help but glance at the massive body of the Abyssal with a lingering sense of fear.

While the Molten Demonblood Essence had corrupted all of Nagan Mountain and given birth to thousands of demonic monsters, it was much better than the alternative. After all, had this High Champion Abyssal demon managed to reach Terra, all of Inkmetal City would have fallen to his might in less than a month.

’However, if the Abyssal is dead, where does the looming feeling of danger come from?’ Vlad was happy to see the demon dead, but he could not help but frown since if that was not the source of the danger, what was it?

His eyes darted through the mountain peak, seeing only scorched demonic corpses and a pool of Molten Demonblood Essence that descended from the peak and flowed down the rest of the mountain. There was no sign of any enemy or powerful life form.

Vlad and Freya glanced at each other and nodded before moving forward, stepping onto the peak of the mountain along with the small yellow cat and old Viking. Not even a second after doing that, the entire group froze, all adopting battle stances and making their energy explode as they turned their focus to the pool of Molten Demonblood Essence.

Up to a second ago, it was just a fountain of the corrupted substance born from the blood of a High Champion Abyssal, thousands of demonic beasts, and lightning. But the moment they set foot on the peak, they felt an eerie set of eyes turn toward them from inside the pool.

The Depravitas and vikings saw an imposing entity emerge from the pool of Molten Demonblood Essence the next second. The figure’s body was a chaotic blend of bright, electric energy and dark, viscous blood, all coalescing around a humanoid body of scorched rocks. Lightning arcs and tendrils of blood intertwined and coursed through its form, creating an intense, pulsating glow.

The entity resembled some sort of elemental, yet it was much more than that. Its head and torso were distinctly humanoid, but its features were twisted and grotesque. Its arms and hands were elongated, with sharp, claw-like fingers that crackled with energy. The blood and lightning seemed to fuse, giving the impression of raw, chaotic power.

Its eyes shone with a fierce, electric light as it gazed at the Depravitas and Viking, a sense of chaotic brutality and killing intent emanating from them, making it clear there was no space for words.

Vlad’s eyes were as sharp and focused as they could be, his entire body brimming with tension as he did not dare even to blink in the presence of the monstrous entity before him.

A new mutated species that is classified as Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental. A High Champion Elemental composed of both lightning and Abyssal blood. Its humanoid form carries immense physical might and is capable of lightning and blood manipulation.

Vlad’s grip on his sword tightened as he saw the analysis from the A.I. Chip. The monster was not only almost four times stronger than him and terrifyingly fast, but its energy pool was also massive thanks to its Racial Heritage.

The only silver lining was that while its unique composition gave it immense power and a formidable body, it also made its energy core unstable, preventing the free use of abilities.

"The energy core in its chest is unstable, focus on it. Jormungandr, go to Grey Hawk and use Tesla Anchor. Freya, with me!" Vlad’s voice was sharp and absolute as he made his Force explode before triggering his wrath, increasing the power of his body and energy, and harnessing the power of his bloodline. Finally, he activated his Inferno Comet Runic Set to enhance his endurance, knowing he would need it.

Jormungandr had already jumped off Vlad’s shoulder, moving toward Grey Hawk, hiding behind the man’s back as he began to channel his energy and summon Tesla Anchor.

The two Vikings also made their strength explode. Freya’s Force and totemic energy exploded with everything she had, generating a reddish aura around her body, while Grey Hawk’s hands burst with freezing coldness as he began to harness his most powerful freezing spells.

The group had barely finished their preparations when the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental dashed toward them at nearly supersonic speed, moving almost 300 meters per second!
