I can say without exaggeration that if I followed the old patterns of urban novels, I could easily come up with one plot after another with my eyes closed. Using my experience from five urban novels, I could make them exciting and thrilling, even predicting the general results!

In a way, this choice meant giving up some popularity, but in the long run, it’s worth it.

After all, people should not stand still, not always rely on their past achievements but need to keep learning and progressing.

Moreover, some policies introduced above and the trend of online literature’s development force me to break through and change.

This is why many urban authors are transforming.

To break away from the ingrained methods and thoughts of urban writing, I tried incorporating the most popular element of fantasy, as an experiment and a challenge.

Throughout the entire process, I’ve been reflecting on the similarities and differences between the urban and fantasy genres, how to express exciting moments, but I’ve always stuck to the outline I set at the beginning.

That is to say, the foreshadowing and background you see in the book are what I planned from the start!

After the first 1.7 million characters of experimentation and practice, I’ve got a rough idea of the differences in writing styles and exciting moments between fantasy and urban novels and am summarizing my own writing method.

Next, I will continue to write seriously, to learn and summarize, and also strive to make the following plot more thrilling and more exciting, to bring you a different kind of brilliance!
