Chapter 114: Battle (1)
Yue Guang appeared in front of Jun Wu Xiao, launching a straight punch at his chest.
Jun Wu Xiao quickly wiped the smile off his face and responded instantly, deflecting her punch and countering with a blow aimed at her chest.
"Can’t dodge. But we’ll both get hurt." Yue Guang thought.
She bent backward just as she was hit, using the force from his punch combined with her own strength to deliver a kick to Jun Wu Xiao’s chin.
"Damn it, can’t dodge." Jun Wu Xiao thought.
He tried to retreat but couldn’t move fast enough. Her kick sent him flying into the air. However, her condition was no better. He hadn’t held back so her chest bones were fractured in multiple places.
Suspended in the air, Jun Wu Xiao couldn’t move freely. He had to wait until he landed to regain control of his movements.
But before he could hit the ground, he heard a shout:
"You’re fighting one against ten."
The one shouting was Dao San Qian, who leaped toward Jun Wu Xiao. Spinning in the air, he aimed a heel kick at his opponent.
Jun Wu Xiao had no way to escape. He didn’t how to fly, he could only cross his arms in front of him to minimize the damage.
Dao San Qian’s heel struck his forearm, accelerating his descent to the ground. But it wasn’t over yet. Before he could stabilize himself, another voice rang out:
"Big brother, enjoy your flight."
It was Chen Wo Lun, who kicked his older brother in the back, sending him flying back towards Dao San Qian.
Dao San Qian seemed prepared, ready to unleash a powerful punch as Jun Wu Xiao approached. He laughed and said:
"Ha ha, keep flying down."
"Hmph, keep laughing. Just wait until I hit you." Jun Wu Xiao thought to himself.
As he flew closer, Dao San Qian threw a full-force punch. Jun Wu Xiao calmly grabbed his wrist, pulling him off balance and delivering a crushing punch to his face.
Dao San Qian spat blood, unable to escape as Jun Wu Xiao firmly gripped his arm.
"Damn it, I was careless. Now I can only endure the blows." Dao San Qian thought.
Since this fight wasn’t to the death, he didn’t need to go as far as cutting off his arm to escape. If this were a battle with a real enemy, he wouldn’t hesitate to sever his own limb.
Another reason was that the punch to his jaw had temporarily stunned him, making it impossible for his nervous system to signal his legs to move.
Seeing his friend temporarily dazed, Jun Wu Xiao continuously slapped Dao San Qian on both cheeks, laughing heartily:
"Ha ha, you were laughing so brightly just now. Why aren’t you laughing anymore?"
"Damn it, I’ll beat you later." Dao San Qian cursed inwardly.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want to curse out loud, but his mouth was constantly being slapped, rendering him speechless.
Jun Wu Xiao knew that the stunned state wouldn’t last long, and with Chen Wo Lun and Yue Guang waiting for him below, he couldn’t waste any more time.
Using Dao San Qian’s body as a springboard, he jumped to a far away place where he thought no one was there.
Dao San Qian was kicked straight into the ground, but it was better than being continuously slapped. He landed headfirst into the dirt, his mouth filled with sand.
"Cough, cough, damn it. Cough, you just wait." he cursed between coughs.
Jun Wu Xiao suddenly sensed something was amiss and thought:
"So far, I’ve only seen four people. Where are the other six? Damn it, it’s a trap."
His intuition kicked in, sensing six people nearby, though he couldn’t see anyone. Quickly, he realized the problem: the ground beneath him was sand, not solid earth, making it easy for someone to hide.
Chu Wu emerged from the sand, leaping towards Jun Wu Xiao with a smirk:
"Ha ha, surprised? Even with intuition, you’re still confused."
Intuition has its limits, it only told Jun Wu Xiao that there were people around, not their exact locations. Normally, he combined intuition with hearing to pinpoint his friends’ positions. However, his friends were lying still, their heartbeats too faint to hear.
"Do you think you can take me on by yourself? Quite brave." Jun Wu Xiao said.
He grabbed Chu Wu’s hand with one of his own, preparing to counterattack. But then there was movement in the sand below. Sheng Yuan was also charging at him.
Seeing the sudden change in Jun Wu Xiao’s expression, Chu Wu laughed and said:
"Ha ha ha, I love a good gang fight. Why would a former general like me fight you alone?"
Jun Wu Xiao had no time to argue. He used his other hand to catch Sheng Yuan’s hand.
Unlike Chu Wu, Sheng Yuan took advantage of being caught. She pulled herself closer to Jun Wu Xiao, using the momentum to strengthen her kick and aimed it at him.
Jun Wu Xiao was kicked and almost spit out, but he quickly threw the two people away and landed on the ground.
Before he could catch his breath, two more people surrounded him. Jin Jian Cheng and Feng Shuang attacked simultaneously.
Seeing Jin Jian Cheng approaching, Jun Wu Xiao charged at him, laughing:
"Ha ha, do you think being big makes you stronger?"
"Of course not, but I can block your view." Jin Jian Cheng said.
Jun Wu Xiao froze for a moment, realizing he couldn’t see Feng Shuang anymore. She must be behind Jin Jian Cheng, but he couldn’t anticipate her next move.
"How long do you think you can block me?" Jun Wu Xiao said, throwing a punch forward.
Jin Jian Cheng responded with a similar punch, their fists colliding with a predictable outcome. Jin Jian Cheng’s hand bones broke, and he winced, saying:
"As expected, there’s no chance in a direct confrontation."
However, everything still went according to plan. Jin Jian Cheng is not a big idiot who thinks he is capable of dueling Jun Wu Xiao.
