Chapter 519: 0519 Dense Forest Battlefield_1
The newly opened simulated gun battle city is located on the outskirts of Imperial City.
Because it covers a large area, it’s essentially equivalent to a representative amusement park in the country right now.
Lucy Wood was here for the first time, and she chose the live player matchup chaos game with Ellen Young.
Since it was a sudden trip, many people in the live broadcast knew that Ellen Young and Lucy Wood were going to this gun battle city together today, immediately rushing to buy tickets, only to be shocked to find out that the tickets were for presale and had to be booked a week in advance because it was so popular, and with limited capacity, there was no way to buy tickets on the spot.
They could only sigh with regret and watch as Lucy Wood and Ellen Young went to enjoy the gun battle city.
Normally, Ellen Young could still go out; as long as she paid a little attention, there really wasn’t much of a problem, except for the fact that Damien Frost and his group would follow close behind her.
There were a lot of people inside the amusement park. Because of the specialized nature of the attractions, each session lasted half an hour, with one divided into four areas. The areas were huge, with different base maps, allowing for 100 people to enter each time.
Because of this, the ticket prices were high, yet still, they were in short supply.
Each of the 100 people had to change into a simple set of equipment, which was to be worn inside the gun battle city, on the outside resembling a bulletproof vest; however, the actual bullets used here were ordinary paintball bullets – hitting someone would result in their elimination, and the final victor or victorious team would receive rewards from the amusement park.
It could be said that this was a combination of some of the hottest games of the moment, remodeled for a great effect.
This was Lucy Wood’s first time participating, and it was also Ellen Young’s first time.
Bulletproof vests were provided, and to prevent even these harmless paintball bullets from injuring people, helmets and other props were worn to ensure the safety of the players.
Some who played poorly could be kicked out as soon as the game started.
Hitting others would eliminate them, and at the same time, one must prevent themselves from being eliminated. Players would take a cable car to the center of the field, then randomly drop off at different locations to ensure they wouldn’t coincide with others, greatly increasing their chances of survival.
Lucy Wood casually picked a dense forest field and entered with 100 people. Everyone was especially excited while sitting in the cable car, having just received a quick tutorial outside on how to use the gun. Each gun contained only 20 paintball bullets; of course, not everyone was skilled enough to use all 20 shots since the fake guns were designed with strong recoil to ensure players felt immersed and had a good time.
Lucy Wood and Ellen Young were on a team, so they sat in the same cable car. Everyone was wearing helmets, and some even held onto sodas. Lucy couldn’t help but laugh and say, "I’m a bit nervous, it’s my first time playing this game. I hope I don’t get eliminated as soon as I’m put down."
Ellen Young smiled faintly, "Just play for fun."
Her gaze wandered around her. Because of the crowd, she wondered if she was mistaken, but she felt like she saw a familiar figure just now.
But now that everyone had helmets on and had entered the well-sealed cable cars, the crowd would be released in batches. Before the game officially started, they weren’t allowed to move and had to stay put to ensure other players entering later wouldn’t be noticed.
She wasn’t sure if her perception was real; he should be busy with work now, shouldn’t he be too busy for this?
And even if it was such a coincidence, he came too?
While Ellen Young was deep in thought, the cable car had entered the range of the dense forest battlefield and started making deep sounds as it descended. The cable car was completely enclosed, with no view outside, so they had to wait until they landed before they could open up.
