His eyelids had been twitching badly these past few days, and being summoned by the principal today made him feel even more bewildered.

Theodore Hailey’s heart was trembling violently, but he still tried his best to maintain his composure, his gaze uncontrollably drifting towards Ellen Young as he replied, "Principal, to tell you the truth, I don’t quite understand. Wasn’t it you who called for me? Did I do something wrong?"

He still looked utterly confused, so Principal Lynch took a deep breath and said, "You presented evidence to prove that the two theories in your speech for the professional speaking class were your own creation. Let me ask you once more, those two controversial theories, are they really your original work?"

Theodore Hailey did not know why Ellen Young appeared here today, and hearing Principal Lynch ask him this made him even more panicked. Yet, he instinctively replied, "They are my... original work."

"You’re still lying!"

Principal Lynch gasped for breath as Ellen Young stood up, "The two theories you copied were ones I discussed on the Internet with someone else, so those two theories are mine. I’m curious though, if it’s just a coincidence of thought, how could you have replicated my exact thoughts? Perhaps, we should have a discussion about it."

Theodore Hailey’s face immediately turned ashen.

They were Ellen Young’s theories?

How could that be possible!

He couldn’t possibly have stumbled upon Ellen Young’s work.

For someone like her, how could she possibly have the time to casually discuss theories on the Internet when she should be giving public speeches and lectures?

If she wanted, why would she bother debating with others on an internet forum?

"I’ve been very interested in AI projects recently, so I’ve been doing AI research, and sharing ideas with others has given me some inspiration. I just did not expect it to be such a coincidence."

Ellen Young curled her lips slightly, "Theodore does have talent, indeed. You could follow me."

Theodore Hailey shuddered all over.

For Ellen Young to invite someone to study under her was a great honor, but now for Theodore Hailey, it was like a death knell.
