"Why are you calling me instead of going on a date with Ruffy Smith this late at night?"

Clinton White’s reaction to Ellen Young’s call was somewhat sarcastic, as he was well aware of her evening activities, including her movie date with Ruffy Smith.

Because that bastard Ruffy Smith had bragged about it in an Instagram story.

She paused for a moment before saying, "I need you to investigate someone from Andalu University, a computer science student named Theodore Hailey. She didn’t need to explain much, Clinton White understood immediately, but was somewhat surprised, "Do you know this person?"
