Lucy Wood got up and saw that Ellen Young had almost finished reassembling Michael.

She didn’t know about the injury Ellen sustained that morning, and since Ellen wasn’t present at mealtime, she had no idea what had happened.

Seeing Ellen working on Michael again didn’t raise any red flags for her.

After all, the mark was easily recognizable.

Ellen nodded, "I accidentally scraped it while working this morning, it’s nothing serious."

She mentioned it casually, but Lucy was somewhat skeptical, "Really?"

Ellen gave her a look, "Would I still be here talking to you if it were serious?"

She would’ve been forcibly taken to the hospital by Damien Frost for a thorough check-up by now.

Indeed.

If Ellen were hurt, there would be a bunch of people more panicked than she was.

Nevertheless, she was still genuinely concerned, "Just be careful, you’re not a small person anymore..."

Muttering under her breath, she took on the air of a big sister without realizing it, and Ellen didn’t find her talkative, simply replying crisply, "Okay."

The only thing she could say was, "Then you continue with your work, I’ll go call Clyde Wilson, we’ll go take another look at the back mountain this afternoon. Tomorrow, I’ll take him to the market."

Considering it wouldn’t be right for Ellen not to have any interaction with Clyde Wilson for two days, since the program also needed a semblance of operation, Lucy tentatively asked, "Will you come to the market with us?"

The path was surrounded by dense woodland; trees lined up along the decline, and one could carefully descend the slope by hugging them.

Yet the jungle was dense, with many intertwining shrubs, making it look especially complex.

With Lucy’s fall through the shrubbery, it happened so suddenly that after her scream, Clyde Wilson and the photographer were scared stiff.

The photographer reacted quickly, instantly dropping the camera without hesitation and jumping down to catch Lucy.

The program crew knew instantly that trouble was afoot.

It was too late to cut the feed — if they did, they would be vehemently criticized, and the barrage exploded in an instant.
