Chapter 399: 0399 Genuine feelings_1
Ruffy Smith accompanied Ellen Young back to her residence.
He had wanted to mention Clyde Wilson, but upon second thought, such people were worlds apart from them. If he brought him up specifically, wouldn’t it seem as if he elevated Clyde to a higher status?
Ellen had a sense of these things too, and with this in mind, Ruffy simply waved his hand, "I’ll head back first."
Ellen nodded, and Ruffy fell into a brief silence.
He wondered if she had seen the message he posted on his Instagram story that day.
Chances were she hadn’t; Ellen didn’t seem like the type who would check Instagram stories.
He quietly sighed to himself.
Never mind, revolutions need long marches, and there’s plenty of time in the future. There’s no rush for the moment.

After the two left, Clyde Wilson entered the room to find his agent, feeling rather disgruntled, he asked, "I just saw a man earlier, didn’t seem like someone from this village. He appeared at the Laursen Seminar before, caused quite a stir then, do you remember him? He’s... exceptionally handsome."
As he uttered the words "exceptionally handsome," he did so with some reluctance.
After all, admitting that another man was better-looking than oneself was a bit of a challenge.
The agent looked over with some significance, "Could it be the online sensation from the Laursen Seminar, the god-like handsome guy?"
That piece of news had made quite a splash at the time. The entertainment industry, with its keen sense of smell, found such a handsome man to be quite rare, his aristocratic demeanor was even something celebrities did not possess.
He was the hot topic on forums for a while, but then Ellen’s news overshadowed it, and considering that the handsome man probably had an extraordinary background, the posts about him were mostly suppressed later on. Some people probably had saved his pictures privately, but no public postings appeared since, indicating that someone was deliberately suppressing his information.
But the impact was made, and upon hearing this, the agent knew immediately who Clyde was talking about.
Clyde nodded and forced a smile, "God-like handsome... there shouldn’t be such a thing in this world, right?"
The principle is true, but acceptance is another story.
Clyde didn’t believe the man’s looks qualified as "god-like handsome"...
Hmm, the more he thought about it, the sourer he felt.
Hearing the sour notes in Clyde’s voice, the agent couldn’t help but let out a laugh, "Really? But if that guy debuts, he would definitely become a superstar."
He didn’t say too much, but Clyde was aware of it himself, and upon hearing it, he fell silent.
"However, you can rest assured; he doesn’t seem interested in the entertainment industry at all. Besides, with his status, he’s not part of our class. Anyway, why are you suddenly asking about him?"
Clyde knew the agent was speaking the truth and could only respond, "I just saw him outside just now. He’s also in Haran Village."
The agent was somewhat shocked to hear this, "Outside?"
It was somewhat unimaginable that someone of his status would appear in a place like Haran Village.
Clyde nodded, "Yes, he knows Ellen Young. They were talking just now..."
The agent was even more surprised upon hearing this, but then again, it wasn’t entirely unexpected.
"Isn’t he also acquainted with a few other big shots? He was quite sociable during the seminar, so it’s not strange he knows Ellen Young..."
After pondering briefly, the agent quickly grasped the deeper implications and immediately reminded Clyde, "Don’t go looking for Ellen Young without good reason these next few days. Just focus on the program when you’re recording. You know better than to overstep."
Clyde, who actually understood how to act around people, just didn’t bother to pretend in front of his agent after so many years, revealing his exceptionally petty true nature.
