The disturbance was so sudden that Damien Frost quickly came over.

Ellen Young felt nauseous and vomited a couple of times, throwing up her breakfast...

Maybe she shouldn’t have eaten anything...

Seeing Ellen’s state, Damien turned to Ruffy Smith, his expression turning colder, "Did you poison her?"

Ruffy Smith: "..."

I’ll slap the poison on your face first.

He glanced at Damien and then, as Ellen leaned over the toilet, she pushed her hand back and nudged Ruffy on his abdomen, against his firm muscles, signaling him to leave.

Even after vomiting, he wasn’t the least bit disgusted.

Ruffy took a step back. Ellen raised her head, flushed the toilet, and took a tissue from the side to wipe the corner of her mouth, "I’m fine, probably just something I ate this morning that irritated me."

A cold or fever could indeed lead to symptoms of vomiting, and the doctor had said during the morning check-up that it was just a common cold, nothing serious.

Otherwise, Damien would have sent her away already.

Still somewhat worried, Damien said, "I’ll get a doctor to come and have a look at you again, and if it’s not okay, we’re going to the hospital."

Ellen nodded her head, beginning to prepare to brush her teeth, not objecting.

Having vomited, Ellen felt much better and while brushing her teeth, she glanced at Ruffy and mumbled, "I’m alright now."

Ruffy leaned against the doorway, watching her with amusement, "I know."

This sort of restlessness was something Ruffy had never before seen in her.

Now Ellen had a very lively aura; indeed, the longer one stays, the more one gets to see.

While brushing her teeth, Ellen could clearly see the man watching her in the large bathroom mirror.

He leaned there, his tall figure attracting attention, especially his face.

In fact, if you look carefully now and then, you’d see he was really handsome.

Once she was ready, Damien led the doctor in to give Ellen another check-up.

During the check-up, Damien looked at Ruffy with suspicion towards the medicine he brought, "Could it be that Miss Young’s body is not suited for it?"

That didn’t make sense; Miss Young wouldn’t be allergic to cold medicine.

Ruffy scoffed, "She hasn’t taken any medicine yet, she just drank a sip of water and then vomited. Why don’t you say the water is poisoned?"

Damien: "..."

After the examination, the doctor still found no problems. Ellen also had some medical equipment here to better monitor her body’s data, and if they really wanted to be certain, they could take Ellen to the hospital in the city for further checks.

Damien just wasn’t reassured, and although it was only a simple cold, he suggested, "Miss Young, how about we go to the hospital for a thorough check-up?"

Ruffy Smith: "I think so too."

Ellen Young: "...Okay."

Without going, she wouldn’t have any peace today, and Damien would remain anxious.

After all, her health was of utmost importance.

Since Ellen was going to the hospital, Ruffy too was not at ease and decided to join her in the car. Damien asked, "What are you doing there?"

Ruffy casually replied, "I’m going for a routine check-up."

Damien: "..."

He sneered, and then Ellen, having changed into her clothes, came out and saw Ruffy in the car. Before she could ask, Ruffy said, "I’m also going for a routine check-up."

Ellen nodded, told Michael to keep an eye on Blackie, and got into the car.

Michael was roaming in circles in the courtyard, and when it ran out of power, it would go sit in the corner to recharge.
