Chapter 334: 0334 Thank you_1

She felt this person was different from the one she had imagined.

With a thoughtful and amused smile, she sent a message, "I graduated from university a long time ago, who’s your tutor at Kongsberg?"

Lonely Genius: "Charles Macdonald, do you know who that is?"

Ellen Young slightly raised her eyebrows.

Tutors from various schools were actually quite renowned, and Ellen Young would definitely remember any who had some fame.

Charles Macdonald was one of them, well-known for his research in Artificial Intelligence at Kongsberg.

Young: "I know."

Lonely Genius: "Just as I thought, given your insights you’re definitely not an unknown, how old are you, and which school did you graduate from?"

Young: "24, Hadton."

Lonely Genius: "Wow, impressive. Unfortunately, Hadton isn’t the strongest in the field of Artificial Intelligence, that’s why I chose Kongsberg."

Lonely Genius: "Let’s talk more another time, when it’s time to rest, one must rest. I’m going to play a couple of games to relax. Are you overseas? Maybe we can meet and talk in detail sometime."

Young: "I’m not overseas, but if the opportunity arises, we’ll probably meet. You have a lot of talent in this area."

Lonely Genius: "Right? My tutor says the same, he is convinced that I am destined to be the brightest new star in the field of Artificial Intelligence!"

Young: "Good luck."

Lonely Genius: "Okay, off to play games."

The other party seemed lively and outgoing, and Ellen Young found some of the things said to be quite amusing.

Shaking her head, there was a noise outside at that moment, and Blackie was barking; Ellen Young went out to see the little girl standing there.

She had talked for too long today, and now it was dark again.

She was wearing a brand-new dress with her hair tied up in braids, standing outside, looking at Blackie barking at her, somewhat fearful.

Ellen Young approached; she had already been taken to Auntie Zach today, so she was surprised to see her here again.

"Is there something you need?"

She wrapped herself in a coat and opened the door, and the little girl’s eyes shone brightly. Initially biting her lip, upon seeing Ellen Young appear and Blackie running out, she stepped back slightly, scared.

"Blackie doesn’t bite."

Ellen Young explained, and the little girl looked at her and said, "Hello."

Ellen Young nodded, "Do you need something from me?"

Lily thought for a moment and said softly, "I came to thank you."

Ellen Young frowned slightly, "What for?"

"Mrs. Zach said that if it weren’t for you, I couldn’t stay." The girl’s voice was crisp and devoid of fear.

Clearly, Auntie Zach had clarified the situation today, and Ellen Young just shook her head lightly, "It wasn’t me who let you stay; it’s because someone was willing to accept you that you could stay. You should be thankful to Auntie Zach."

"I will repay her well in the future."

Lily nodded but then spoke words that surprised people.

"I know my background isn’t good, they sent me here, and you don’t have to accept me. I’m very thankful you let me stay, and when I grow up, I will repay those who raised me."

She was young but had a clear understanding of certain things.

Maybe it was the malice she had faced around her that made her more aware of what it meant to be disliked and burdensome than other children her age.

That’s the kind of child she was, seeming like a burden to any adult.
