Chapter 249: 0249 Glorious Fact_1

Ellen Young spoke too naturally.

The way she had handed the violin to Lucy Wood was so effortless.

And she didn’t exactly emphasize what Flora had said with much gravity, as if it was mentioned in passing.

Either she was not referring to the famous cellist Flora, or there could be no other explanation.

Nina York couldn’t imagine Ellen Young being acquainted with someone of Flora’s stature.

"Do you believe it?"

Naya York looked incredulously at Lucy Wood, "When her sister came back that time, didn’t we check her background? There was no school information. She grew up in the countryside. She claims to know Flora, and you believe this ridiculous joke?"

Nina York said, "She has no reason to suddenly bring up Flora when there’s more than one famous cellist in the world."

She could have easily mentioned someone else, even someone local, but she insisted on Flora.

"Then tell me how could it be possible, how could such an outrageous situation arise!"

Naya York had now been stimulated into almost a frenzy.

Indeed, the more improbable the situation, the more it sets one’s heart racing with panic.

Yes, why didn’t she speak of someone else but Flora specifically?

Last time there was also the custom order from the G brand, where the official website stepped forward to clarify personally, which is a treatment not even the biggest celebrities receive.

Yet, she had it.

Lately, there were even claims she knew Geoffrey Hann; just what kind of background did she have?

But if she was so capable, then why was Lucy Wood in such a sorry state?

With this thought, Naya York gradually calmed down again, "Are you able to attend the Laursen academic seminar next week?"

Nina York was startled for a moment, then nodded, "Yes."

The Laursen academic seminar was extremely exclusive. Desperate to gain access to the venue, she studied relentlessly while at Kongsberg, hoping to earn her tutor’s highest praise. After much hardship, her tutor confirmed and decided to take her to the Laursen conference, to expose her to the field.

Her tutor at Kongsberg had a high reputation and had achieved a lot, but he had only been invited to the Laursen Conference this year.

Each invitee could bring an assistant.

She was that assistant.

And even as an assistant, she was seen as a prodigy countless ordinary people would look up to all their lives.

This was an incredibly honorable opportunity. Once inside the conference, she would have the chance to meet some of the world’s most famous scientists and mathematicians, among many others.

It wasn’t about having to know someone but having even the slightest opportunity to make more acquaintances and expand her network of contacts and connections was an excellent chance.

Naya York said, "Don’t worry about the rest, but you’re my greatest reliance. After the conference, I’ll have them send out a press release. I at least want Lucy Wood to know that there are places where she’ll never be able to catch up with us in this lifetime. Their kind of family probably doesn’t even know what Laursen is."

Nina York frowned slightly, "I’ve heard that next week’s seminar is already open to the media, and I don’t think it’s necessary to specifically promote my involvement. There will be others besides me there, and from Sina, there are many who are younger and even more talented..."

"But you’re my sister, you don’t need to compare yourself with others."

Naya York lifted her chin provocatively, "This is already a matter of honor, are you going to deny it?"

Nina York fell silent.
