Chapter 191: 0191 are all bosses_1
They were in Ellen Young’s car, with Damien Frost driving.
Now that she knew the truth, Ellen introduced Damien Frost to Lucy Wood, "This is Damien Frost, he’s here to protect me."
Her words were concise and to the point, no need for further explanation, Lucy understood immediately.
Lucy seemed to remember having seen this man before.
With his strong and indifferent facial features, towering height, and an air of integrity, she now thoroughly understood what he did for a living.
So the people who’d been delivering packages every day were there to protect her.
Truly making full use of one’s resources.
Lucy was very polite: "Hello."
Even if he was there to protect Ellen, he was certainly not someone of her level to meet.
However, she couldn’t let her sisterly status be belittled, that would be too petty.
When Damien saw Lucy at that moment, she managed to pull off a black dress with golden threads, wearing it gracefully. Slim and attractive, she indeed looked like a lady from a distinguished family.
He had seen Lucy quite a few times in his daily life and, moreover, had thoroughly checked her background, even knowing some dark history that Lucy herself had forgotten.
This time, he merely nodded and said, "Hello."
His cold and indifferent demeanor made Lucy take an extra glance.
After all, a man who came to protect Ellen with both looks and such a physique was worth a few extra looks.
But Lucy had also met Ruffy Smith, and couldn’t help but sigh that when a person is outstanding, they’re surrounded by first-rate men.
Ellen really was exceptional.
Once in the car, Lucy also wisely inquired about Sidney Addison’s habits and what to pay attention to, to avoid saying or doing something wrong.
Ellen simply said, "Just treat it like you’re meeting elders from an ordinary family. Grandma Addison is very kind, a benevolent person. She’s just interested in meeting you, you don’t need to be nervous."
Ellen’s words were reliable, and upon hearing this, Lucy felt a bit more at ease.
Still, she sat very properly, and her slightly clenched fingers betrayed a hint of nervousness.
Ellen saw this and found it somewhat amusing, but said nothing. Lucy wouldn’t feel this nervous after the meeting.
Upon arriving at Sidney Addison’s place, her home was actually in a very ordinary old neighborhood; however, this neighborhood was not so ordinary. It was discreetly located, and as they entered, Lucy noticed that the guards standing at the gate were ramrod straight, clearly not ordinary security guards—with guns at their waist...
Lucy sat up straighter, feeling a little tense.
Inside, there were only a few buildings, all quite old, but the environment was excellent.
Damien parked the car in the outermost parking lot. Two people came over to scan something Damien handed them. Upon seeing Ellen get out of the car, they gave her a standard military salute.
Ellen was accustomed to this by now. An old man walking his bird approached, and upon seeing Ellen and Damien, exclaimed, "Ellen’s here."
Seeing him, Ellen smiled, "Grandpa Hubert."
That Grandpa Hubert, dressed plainly, waved at them, "You’re here to see Sidney, right? She’s at home. Go on up."
Ellen nodded in agreement.
Lucy stared at this Grandpa Hubert for a moment, stunned.
Then it dawned on her, and she almost flipped out.
This this this this... This was the heavyweight boss from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who occasionally appeared on the national news station!
Although he had long retired, Lucy still vaguely remembered him.
Yet, apart from the stern figure on the news, she had never seen his current smiley face as he walked his bird.
