Felicia Frost gripped her arm, her voice low yet unable to hide her excitement, "You’ve lost a sesame seed but picked up a watermelon! Do you know which film came looking for me?"

Lucy Wood was somewhat puzzled, "Which one?"

Seeing Felicia this excited, it seemed like no ordinary film. Lucy ventured a guess, "Is it that idol drama I’ve been yearning for?"

The hugely popular idol drama with a high popularity rating—if she was to land the female lead, it would surely be another surge in her popularity.

Felicia said, "No! It’s even better than that. You know the movie ’People of the World,’ right? Your favorite director Turner Matt!"

Lucy drew in a sharp breath, nearly screaming, "Oh my God, Turner Matt, my idol! His movie ’People of the World.’ Did you network for me and get me a supporting role?"

"Keep it down, keep it down." Felicia was still worried that her excitement would be picked up by Ellen Young’s headset, which would then leak out and cause trouble.

She couldn’t help but laugh, "Not a supporting role. They came directly to you to play the female lead!"

Lucy was dumbfounded.

It was as if she had heard an auditory hallucination, "The female lead?"

Felicia confirmed, "Yes, the female lead!"

Lucy laughed, as though Felicia was just teasing her, "What are you joking about? How do I qualify for the female lead?"

It wasn’t self-deprecation; she wasn’t even part of the movie scene. Famous international female stars were ambitiously vying for the part, and she would be grateful for just a cameo. The female lead was beyond her wildest dreams!

She paused, then said, "I know I lost an endorsement yesterday, and I was in a bad mood, but you don’t have to cheer me up with these things."

Felicia replied bluntly, "Are you out of your mind or am I? If I hadn’t received the news, would I dare to joke with you about this? I know you won’t believe it, but I’ve seen all the materials, and the script was sent ahead to me. They want you to sign the contract once your live broadcast for this week ends. I wanted to ask, how did you manage to establish such a connection? How did such good fortune come to find you?"

Lucy was shocked.

"Are you serious?"

Felicia: "More real than pearls. If you don’t believe it, I’ll show you their information later."

Lucy was amazed, "Could it be the Wood Family helped me..."

Felicia scoffed, "Have you lost your mind? If your parents were that influential, would you still be in this position? ’People of the World’s largest investor is Wanton!"

Although it wasn’t Wanton’s representatives who had come, their words vaguely hinted that Wanton had taken a liking to Lucy Wood.

Lucy quickly realized this wasn’t something the Wood Family could have managed, but unlike Felicia, she was shocked to disbelief, "How could it... How could it be my turn? Are you sure they’re not just asking me to audition for the female lead, rather than offering it to me directly?"

Felicia’s tone was filled with excitement, "Our Lucy has made it! If you pull through, you absolutely cannot mess up this movie. When you get back, start memorizing the script and practicing your lines immediately; you can’t afford to embarrass yourself!"

Lucy was still astonished by her stroke of luck, "But... But why would they choose me?"

Felicia: "I’m not too sure myself. I haven’t taken any action yet. I was hoping to ask if you had connected with someone?"

Lucy shook her head, "Impossible, I haven’t."
