Third POV

He stumbles back in shock as he stares at the scene before him.

Emiliano turns to face him wondering why he seems so shocked and with a slight clearing of his throat gestures for Dean to bring the things into the living room.

Even the maids are stunned when they enter and they see the scene of them kissing each other.

But they know better than to interrupt and they each arrange the trays in their hands on the table before walking away.

When the strong scent of newly baked cake reaches her nose she quickly pulls away from Raffaele and looks towards the table.

At the sight before her a wide grin spreads on her face and she pushes her body away from Raffaele’s before racing to the cupcakes.

She turns just in time to see Dean and she beckons him over.

"Dean," Bella says, picking up two cupcakes from the tray and walking towards him.

While Dean has his eyes widened out in surprise as he feels a pair of dark eyes focused on him like a predator staring at his prey.

The mere aura of the man who he had only met once and this day making it twice apart from the fleeting glances of him he sees when he is leaving or coming to the house makes his nerves act up.

He avoids looking in the direction in which Raffaele is seated and instead focuses his gaze on the approaching him.

He wonders how such an innocent soul like her could be locked in the arms of a man like Raffaele who is wrapped in sin and is anything but innocent.

"Here, sorry for keeping you waiting" Bella says passing him the cupcakes and he absentmindedly collects it from her.

"I hope you aren’t angry" Bella continues to ask obliviously to the eyes staring at her with a dark gaze.

Emilino who is standing there has an amused look in his eyes as he looks between Dean and Bella.

"You know him Bells" Emiliano questions going to wrap his arms around Bella’s shoulder to pull her close.

Dean’s gaze moves to Emiliano’s face and he swallows, all the boss’s in the house are untouchable and just a mere glance at them screams wealth and elegance.

His gaze moves to the hand he has wrapped around Bella’s shoulder and he cannot help but swallow as he tries to erase further thoughts.

"He’s my friend" Bella says and immediately Dean’s gaze snaps to her face as he stares at her in disbelief.

Bella sees the surprised look on his face and it makes her giggle as she shakes her head lightly at him.

"Aren’t we friends" She questions " Kate and Aya are now" Bella finishes and gazes up at Emiliano.

"I am sure the poor boy never agreed to be friends, you are just forcing yourself on him" Emiliano teases and immediately her eyes narrow as she glares at Emiliano.

"Don’t you dare Emi" Bella says glaring at him before turning to face Dean again.

"Tell him D, that we are friends" Bella says, crossing her hand over her chest as she waits for him to speak.

Dean smiles and nods his head.

"Ha, I told you so" Bella says and sticks out her tongue at an amused Emiliano.

A loud shriek escapes her lips when Emiliano pulls at her hair before sprinting.

Bella runs after him, her gaze fierce as she tries to reach him.

Raffaele sits there, his gaze focused on Dean, his fists clenched disregarding the fact that his hands are red from the burn.

His glare pieces into the young boy as he wonders what sort of magic he had performed to make his beloved notice him and even go as far as call him a friend.

"You" Raffaele calls out his voice, commanding and strict.

Usually he doesn’t bother with these types of workers or notice them nor does he talk to them and bother to do so but now this boy in front of him has his baby’s attention and whoever has his baby’s attention has his.

Dean’s eyes widen and he stares at Raffaele with bulging eyes while looking around the place to make sure that his boss is talking to him.

When he sees that Raffaele’s eyes have narrowed he quickly realises it is him and he scrambles towards the direction in which Raffaele is.

"S....sir" Dean stutters out and stands in front of Raffaele like a soldier in front of a commander.

Sweat has already made itself visible on his forehead and back and even his whole body starts trembling slightly.

All these don’t go unnoticed by Raffaele who continues to stare at him with his intimidating eyes.

Dean fidgets and when Raffaele stands up to his full height, towering over him he steps back a little.

Raffaele stares at the boy in front of him and leans towards his ear, just enough that only the two of them get to hear what he is about to say.

"Know your places, she is mine" When it came to her he always felt insecure and that feeling had hit him stronger when he saw her smiling at Dean when he was sure she hadn’t known him for more than twenty four hours.

After his words which makes all the blood to be drained from Dean’s face, he steps back and it is only when he stands at his full height does his gaze move to Bella who is currently chasing a laughing Emiliano.

Stepping away from Dean, Raffaele makes his way towards Emiliano and Bella.

As Emiliano is about to run from her, Raffaele holds his arm and delivers a smack at the back of his head.

"Stop troubling my baby" Raffaele says with a stern face.

"Ouch brother, why would you hit me?" Emiliano whines and Bella grins widely before stepping closer to them and getting a hit at Emiliano’s head forgetting her injured hand.

"Ouch" Instantly Raffaele moves to her and holds her hand in his.

"Let’s go" He says going to drag Bella upstairs with him where he can have her all to himself.

"Work" Emiliano screams after Raffaele who turns to glare at him and does something that surprises even Bella.

He throws Emiliano the middle finger and that has his lips parting in surprise.

"Wait" Bella calls out halting Raffaele who stares at her with raised brow.

"I want to give Aya and Kate their own, would you like some?" Bella asks innocently to which he nods his head, a small smile appearing on his lips at her thoughtfulness.

She moves quickly and grabs the other tray before arranging the cupcakes she intends on giving her new friend and she steps towards the kitchen.

She gets there and sees them there already with the maids who have started preparing lunch.

"Aya, Kate" Bella calls out to them with her beautiful smile on her lips and they turn to stare at her waiting for her to speak.

She carries the tray and passes it to them.

"Here" Bella says, passing them the tray.

"This is for you guys and the others and I’ll come out later so we can chat" She tells them and they stare at her surprised.

She had given them almost half of all the cupcakes and it instantly warms their heart.

"Can I have a small box?" Bella asks and instantly the head maid rushes into the store to bring out what she wants.

She thanks her and steps out with an excited expression on her face.

Excitedly she sits down and opens the box before putting in the cupcakes.

After she is done with that she ties it with a ribbon and faces Raffaele.

"Can these be sent to Emilia and E?" She asks him, adding a pout to her face to sound more convincing to him.

Raffaele chuckles and nods his head.

"Emiliano" Emiliano groans dramatically and stands up while dragging his feet.

"Why me?" While munching on a cupcake like a wolf, Bella rolls her eyes.

"These are for Anna and Angel gets the ones I’ll keep you better not steal them" Bella says and at the mention of Anna his eyes immediately light up and he grabs the two boxes before walking to his car.

He steps out and decides to go drop off the one for Emilia and Ethan before going to Anna’s.

When he gets there and drops the box he chats a little with Emilia and plays with Ethan before entering his car and driving towards the familiar root to Anna’s house

When he gets close to the estate which houses Anna’s penthouse, he steps out of his car and starts walking towards the front door.

He stands there contemplating whether or not to just input the password and enter or knock for her to open the door.

After standing there for sometime he raises his hand and knocks on the door with the other hand stabling the box of cupcakes in hand.
