Chapter 96: Chapter94: cupcake

Third POV

Unaware of the hawk eyes seemingly following every move of hers she just moves with ease and without a care in the world.

It is only when she is downstairs and sees a maid does she remember her goals for the day.

"Hmm ... .hi" Bella calls out to the young man who freezes for a second before making her way to her.

She can see how scared the maid is, especially from how the maid keeps fidgeting with her hand and the look on her face.

"Good morning ma’am" The maid greets with her gaze set on the floor and Bella giggles at that wondering why she looks so scared.

"I had dropped some things in my room upstairs and it is wrapped in a blanket. Can you get them?" She asks the maid politely to which the maid nods her head.

"Ask for assistance and please some fruits, snacks and drink" With that she skips her way outside and plugs in her earphone.

Ignoring the existence of the guards stationed around the huge place she makes her way towards the huge beautiful garden.

She has always found herself in awe whenever she steps foot in the garden because of how beautiful the whole setting is and the flowers planted are all imported.

Slowly trailing her fingers along some flowers to feel them she makes her way to the double swing in the garden and sits on it.

Bella plugs in her headphones and starts listening to music while resting her body against the swing.

She stays there lost in her own world as she tries to stop herself from remembering the events that have happened for the past two days.

She had not yet digested the kidnapping and seeing that much blood on Raffaele still sends a chill down her spine.

She is busy humming to the song when suddenly she feels a feathery touch on her shoulder.

Shocked, she jolts away and turns around to see the maid from earlier who now has a scared expression.

"I..I am sorry" The maid stutters in fright, they were told not to annoy or irritate her as they would face punishment from Raffaele.

They had all heard and seen how the man treasures her and nobody wants to be a victim of that man.

"Oh it’s ok, I was just startled. Please help me arrange this" Bella says after removing her headphones and keeping it with her phone on the swing.

The maid nods and starts helping Bella to arrange everything on the blanket which has been laid out.

Bella arranges the blankets along with her pillows the way she likes it along with the drinks and snacks.

The moment they are done, The maid turns to walk away

"Hey" Bella calls out softly.

The maid turns to face her while Bella stares at her with a small smile making the maid stare at her in awe.

At that moment she understood why a man as powerful as Raffaele is in love with Bella.

She truly is Bella.

"Your friend, go call her, you two should be here please" Bella says softly to the maid who nods her head before venturing into the huge mansion to go call her friend, wondering how Bella knows she has a friend.

"Come we are needed in the garden" The maid tells her friend who stares at her with wide eyes.

"Who needs us in the garden?" The friend questions with a confused look on her face.

"Young Miss" That is all she needed to hear before bolting to the garden.

The moment Bella sees the two of them she has a wide grin stretched on her face as she gestures for them to sit down.

Both maids stare at her with wide eyes as she narrowly shakes their head.

"Please sit, I really don’t want to be alone" Being alone clouded her head with thoughts she’d rather not dwell on.

And being alone makes her think of running away which she knows is impossible.

"Please ma’am w..." Before the young maid can finish Bella cuts her off.

"What are your names?" Bella questions calmly.

"I am Kate and this is Aya" Kate the second maid says pointing to her friend who had come to call her.

Bella nods with a wide grin on her face as she gestures for them to sit down.

She watches how they hesitantly refuse to do so and she starts persuading them.

In less than five minutes, the three girls are sitting on the blanket as they talk and laugh, with mostly Kate doing all the talking and making Bella laugh out in complete happiness.

Water pours in the direction of the girls and they look up with a scream.

"I..I am so sorry" A voice says arriving from the back of the huge flowers, a hose in hand which he uses to water the garden.

His words however are stuck in his throat as he yet again comes in front of the beauty.

He stares at her with a lost expression on his face as he cannot help but wonder how someone can be so beautiful.

Bella stares at him with a confused gaze before diverting her gaze.

"Are you blind, you almost destroyed the Miss’s settings" Kate says glaring at the young Male who looks no older than twenty.

His eyes widen slightly and his gaze moves to Bella.

So she is the Miss.

That thought dulls a part of his heart as they have all heard how the big boss treasures her.

"It’s fine" Bella says with a small smile that goes straight to his heart and he finds himself staring at her not having the urge to blink.

The moment he hears her voice the first thought is she is an angel.

"Are you ok?" Bella asks the Male who has been staring at her and instantly he quickly shakes his head to get out of whatever trance he is in.

"Yes Miss I deeply apologize for everything that has happened" He says bowing a little and from his words his British accent pokes out.

"That’s fine" Bella giggles and a curious look appears on her face. "What’s your name? Are you new here?" She questions as she could swear she has never seen him around.

She has seen the girls around a couple of times and that is how she knows they are friends as they are always together but he is a whole different story.

"I am new, I am part of the gardeners and my name is Dean" He answers and Bella nods her head.

"Come join us Dean" Bella says excitedly and immediately the smiles on the other girl’s lips fall.

"I..no thank you" Dean stutters and fidgets in his spot.

Bella, sensing that he is rejecting the offer, maybe because he sees her as the boss, shakes her head and insists and Dean sighs before going over.

He doesn’t sit on the blanket and instead sits on a huge stone close to the girls.

"Here" Bella says passing a cupcake to Dean and the girls sigh.

"But that is the last one Bells" Kate says with a small pout earning a laugh from Bella.

"Why don’t we go make some and come back to watch a movie" Bella says and instantly they nod their heads.

They have always watched the chefs and head maid do their thing in the kitchen and they were only in charge of serving and cleaning.

"Let’s go, please watch over these Dean" Bella says and Dean nods his head with a small smile playing on his face.

"Are you sure about this" Aya asks with a nervous look on her face.

"Yup, besides I can’t bake alone and would need your help" With that Bella links their fingers and they trudge towards the kitchen.

They get to the kitchen and it is filled with the chef, assistant chef and maids who are busy arranging the place.

"Hi" Bella says softly and instantly the once busy kitchen becomes pin drop silent and their faces turn pale.

"Mi..Miss, do you need anything" The chef asks in a trembling voice as he stares at the boss’s woman.

"I...." Bella clears her throat suddenly feeling shy and awkward from the multiple pairs of eyes.

"I’d like to bake some cupcakes please" She says And if possible his face turns paler.

"I’d get it done right away, miss" He says, already rushing to grab his ingredients and Bella giggles.

"I would like to do it myself" Bella says and steps further into the huge kitchen.

Even with the people in the kitchen there is still an unbelievable amount of space in the kitchen.

The head chef along with the head maid argue with her as they fear losing their jobs.

Bella smiles and suddenly an idea hits her.

"Should I call Raffaele?" She says and the moment she asks the question she watches how they all freeze in fear.

They stare at her with widened eyes before quickly shaking their heads.
