Chapter 89: Chapter 88: shot

Third pov

The scream tears past her lips before she can even control herself when the first sound of gunshot is heard in the room.

Tugging on the ropes used to tie them she quickly turns her gaze to Angel who is in the same situation she is in.

"Are you ok?" Angel hurriedly asks Bella who nods her head but her gaze remains fixed in the direction where the gunshot just came from.

"Are you sure?" Angel asks again to be sure and this time Belle gives an audible reply.

Alphonsi who is frozen for sometime attempts to move forward when another gunshot halts him and before he can even try to compose himself a blast is heard.

The door to the huge room they are in is suddenly opened and men clad in either black sets of clothing or military clothing file into the room with straight faces.

Neither of the men have smiles on their faces and they all look serious.

With huge machine guns and some explosives tied.

They surround the room and just when Alphonsi and his gang think that is the end they watch as another group file in and this one makes two lines leaving a wide space in the middle.

The aura is felt even before they enter and the whole place starts feeling too small and suffocating.

The first sound is head and that is of a man’s scream and the sight that meets them has all the men in the room sweating.

Draven steps in and right behind him is a guard who is holding a rope to which a man is tied like a dog.

His face is emotionless, giving nothing away and the only indication he is angry are his eyes which have turned red in anger.

The thoughts of any man having the guts to kidnap his fiance did nothing but make the always calm man furious.

He had promised to make them all an example so next time anyone would think twice or a hundred times before messing with him.

The moment he is in the middle of the room, a guard runs and quickly a chair is brought for him and he sits down.

He turns to gaze at Alphonsi and the moment his gaze lands on him Alphonsi holds his breath, afraid of breathing in the presence of such a monster.

Instantly he regrets not doing his assignment properly about the family and maybe then he wouldn’t have ended up kidnapping the fiancee of the Demon.

Alas!! He is still unaware of the fact that he is yet to face the devil himself and the beast himself.

"Scar" The moment the words escape his lips and the man named scar steps forward one of the men in the room immediately holds his chest.

Scar is one of the closest of his men and a man whose mere sight could make even the strongest of men tremble in fright.

It is not from his huge frame or handsome face which is marred by a scar and instead it is his eyes.

His eyes are completely white like there is no black in them and staring into his eyes does nothing but terrify a person.

"Untie them" He says and instantly Scar raises the knife in hand and in one swift slash the thick rope holding them falls.

’Idiot’ Angel mumbles glaring at her fiance but when she feels Oscar’s eyes on her she is instantly terrified and she finds herself shrinking into Bella.

Bella looks round the place trying to see if she might catch a glimpse of Raffael but the disappointment settles in when she doesn’t and she hangs her head.

A chair is brought for the ladies with Angel’s own being right beside Draven’s.

She tries to move her chair away from him but looks up just in time to see Scars face and instantly she remains sitting without moving an inch.

"Are you ok?" Draven asks the ladies and while Bella nods her head in slowly, Angel shakes her head and instantly all of Dravens attention is on her.

Alphonsi and the men who have been trying to slyly escape pause in their steps when they hear a growl-like sound escaping his lips.

"Come here" They don’t need to be told twice as instantly the men start making their way towards them.

Draven’s gaze is set on them as he watches the men slowly approach.

"Kneel" he thunders and all five of them kneel in front of them.

"Nobody touches family" His voice comes out rough as he says those words with the intensity hitting the men.

Before he can utter another word one of the men starts crying and rushes towards Draven while groveling to his feet.

"Pl..Please s..spare us" The man stutters full on crying as tears and snot fill his face.

At the sight of such a grown man crying while Bella feels slight pity for the man, Angel is full on grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Alphonsi has his head hung low with clenched fists as he starts thinking of ways to escape the hell he has landed himself in.

"You were warned" The right hand man of Draven says, stepping forward with a menacing grin set on his handsome face.

"And decided to ignore it" He continues and this time draws out something which happens to be a whip.

Angel almost claps her hand but stops herself from doing so.

"Boo" Angel calls out sweetly towards Draven while straightening her hand to grab his.

"Is my face swollen" And right there the man who had slapped her instantly falls on the marbled floor, face first and starts wailing.

The moment his gaze moves to her now swollen and red face all sorts of calm.escapes his body.

He had wanted to play with his prey just like he likes it but now it changed.

"Who slapped you?" Draven asks, his hand now moving to her cheeks which he traces delicately.

Angel grins and without a second thought or hesitation she points at the slightly thick and fat man.

"I..I..I" The man looks extremely pale but he is not able to finish his sentence as at that moment they look towards the door.

Raffaele Vincenti

The beast.

The way he carries himself and walks like he owns the whole of the place or the look in his eyes now.

Bella stares at him as she feels a little bit of happiness crawling in her heart.

Her gaze moves from his toes upwards and when she looks at his face she shivers slightly.

Biting her bottom lip, Bella doesn’t know when she springs out of her seat and races towards Raffaele.

The moment she is standing a little closer to him, she throws her arms around him and wraps her little arms around the huge man.

His whole body stiffens and he stands there for some second before slowly raising his hands to wrap around her body.

Slowly he buries his face in the crook of her neck and starts inhaling her scent, his hold on her turning tight every second.

Angel also stands up from the chair and walks towards her elder brother before hugging him with tears streaming down her face.

After sometime she pulls away and so does Bella but Raffaele has a hand wrapped around Bella’s waist.

Alphonsi, who is staring at them, slowly stands up at the sight of Raffaele.

"Raffaele Vincenti" He calls out with a tremble in his voice.

He has heard alot about Raffaele, seen things he is capable of and heard stories but has never once seen the man whose downfall he is planning.

Now in the presence of the man and a loom at his face and dark green orbs which looks devoid of any form of information he can tell he is dead meat.

"The basement" Raffaele says simply and instantly one of the men kneeling faints while the thick older man holds his chest with his lips parted and eyes dilated in fear.

At the word ’Basement Even Alphonsi shivers in fear and a few tears escape his eyes.

They have all heard horror stories about the basement and they all know what happens to those who have gone to Raffaele’s basement.

Alphonsi will know as some of their best men were there but never returned to tell a tale.

With a nod towards Draven and his arms still wrapped around the waist of his beloved he turns to walk away.

Initially he had planned to deal with the men in front of the girls but after a careful thought of how he doesn’t wish to traumatize them due to all the things he has planned out for these men he decides to take care of everything in private.

Alphonsi watches as Raffale is about to walk away and different thoughts cloud his head on how he can escape and before he can think it through he is already running towards one of the armed men and drawing out a gun.

Aiming and pointing towards Bella he pulls the trigger.

Bella lets out a scream as her eyes fill up with tears while Raffaele’s eyes widen.
