Chapter 85: Chapter 84: Burning the city

Third POV

"WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE" Raffaele growls marching towards the bathroom to pull the bathroom door open.

He searches everywhere like a mad man and even goes as far as raising the things in the hospital room.

He refuses to calm down and goes as far as bringing out his phone to make a phone call.

"Emiliano" Raffaele calls out trying to control his breathing because at that moment all he can see is red.

"Brother" Emiliano replies, already sensing that something is wrong.

"Where is Bella?" He questions Emiliano who furrows his brows at Raffaele’s question.

"Isn’t she at the hospital?" Emiliano questions slowly and carefully, surprised at being questioned about her whereabouts.

"I left them there, herself and Angel before going to complete the job you gave me" Emiliano says when he doesn’t get any reply from Raffaele.

"She’s not here" Raffaele says, his gaze moving round the hospital room.

"Calm down brother, I’ll be there" Emiliano says and Raffaele does even say anything and instead ends the call.

Walking in circles In the hospital room he again starts typing on his phone and dials her number.

It starts ringing and the call is rejected.

Letting out a frustrated groan he decides to call the guards he put in charge of her.

"Boss" The guard says the moment he picks up the call with a slight tremble in his voice.

They all know that ever since Raffaele had assigned them to take care of her he barely calls them because they always inform him of their whereabouts.

"Where is she?" Ignoring pleasantries and any thing that would lead to unnecessary conversations he goes straight to the point.

"Sir, ma’am and the young Miss left the hospital and they are currently going home" The guard replies to Raffaele’s question.

"Ok" With that Raffaele ends the call and quickly Angel’s number.

The phone rings and just as he thinks his sister isn’t going to pick the call, she does.

"Angel" Raffaele writes out trying to control himself from exploding towards his baby sister.

"R..Raff" Angel stutters while gripping the phone as she can already tell she is in trouble.

She passes Bella a look before putting the phone on speaker.

"Where are you?" Raffaele questions yet again pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I..w..we are on our way to the mansion" Angel replies and she hears when her brother sucks in a harsh breath.

"With whose permission did you leave the hospital" Raffaele questions.

"N..nobody, But brother Bella wanted to leave the hospital and was crying so I j.." Angel starts saying hoping her words would be enough to calm her brother.

"You just what huh, pass her the phone" He cuts her off before demanding she passes the phone to Bella.

Bella shakes her head as she refuses to take the phone from Angel.

Angel insists and goes as far as pushing the whole phone into Bella’s arm.

"Bella" Raffaele calls out and she lets out a little squeak as a reply, not daring to do more than that .

She could tell the man is furious if not for the way he called her name then from how harsh he is breathing.

’"You should have a good explanation before I get home.." He leaves his words hanging but that is enough to add to her fear and she shivers from his words.

She is about to reply when the loud sound of a gunshot makes her eyes widen.

At first she ignores it as her attention is focused on the phone but that is until another comes and this one hits the car they are in.

"ahhh" The loud scream escapes from her lips and Angel’s.

"Bella" Raffaele calls out his voice frantically as he can already sense something wrong and it is confirmed by the loud sound of a gunshot and their loud screams.

"Baby what is it?" Raffaele growls already making his way out of the hospital room and when he comes in contact with one of his men he tells him to place a call and find out their location.

"I..gunshots, there are people shooting at our car" Bella says in fear as she is now slightly ducked to avoid being hurt.

"Shit,shit, pass the phone to Angel" With that she passes the phone to Angel who collects it to listen to her brother.

Raffaele starts speaking and starts off by reassuring his sister and as they are both listening they become unaware of the huge car driving behind them.

Before any words can escape, an impact at the back of their car sends it flying with only their screams filling the empty space of the car and Raffaele’s booming voice.

"Don they have been attacked" One of his capos tells him and Raffaele nods his head before giving out rapid instructions, his gaze unfocused.

The guards nod and each watch as the man seems to have grown in size with his eyes turning dark.

It is needed as two important women in his life are in a life threatening situation and he feels utterly helpless.

Even the need to think has temporarily left his head and that is why he places calls to his friends and brother.

Orders immediately get thrown out and the convoy of cars drive towards the direction where the ambush is taking place.

They get there in no time and the sight in front of him makes him suck in a painful breath.

Raffaele shouts his eyes briefly as he counts in his head and when he opens it again he is greeted with the same sight.

Emiliano, Nathan, Alexander and Draven are already present but Raffaele is oblivious to their presence and fixes his gaze on the now damaged and flipped car.

Without wasting any time he races towards the car and immediately his hand comes in contact he is burned.

Retracting, he glares at the car before placing his hand again without a carethathe is being burned by it.

"Raffaele" Emiliano calls out softly to his elder brother as he moves to place a hand on Raffaele’s shoulder trying to make him move away from the car which is minutes away from exploding.

"Where are they?" Raffaele questions but doesn’t get a reply from Emiliano.

Emiliano runs his hand through his dark locks as he tries to control himself.

He is also feeling terrible with an ache in his chest at the fact that something happened to them.

"We have to step away from the car, it is dangerous" Emiliano says but Raffaele pays him no mind and rips the door open.

His palms now read a d scalding but that is the least of his proproblems when he is welcomed with the sight of an empty car.

"where the fuck are they" Raffaele growls and swiftly turns on his feet to face the others.

"When we got the information and tracked them down it seems we were late as they were already missing" A man explains to Raffaele.

Raffaele chuckles, a hunting sound lacking any form of warmth or anything and instead it is cold and emotionless with an evil underling.

"Who is responsible for this" Raffaele questions and when he receives no reply he takes out his phone.

"Find their location and you have ten minutes to do that" With that he ends his call and places in another.

"Call the general and ask him to prepare, I need five private choppers all will be used by my men and some of his and also inform the governor about this, it’s either they are found or the city is set ablaze" With that he ends the call.

"Get me the CCTV footage and everything I’d need" With that he heads straight to the car and enters.

Emiliano enters the back seat with him and Nathan sits in the front with the driver.

"We have sent out men and our team is working on it" Nathan assures Raffaele and Raffaele nods stiffly at his words with a clenched jaw.

"Base" That is all he says and the driver is already driving to the Vincenti base.

When they get there, they all step out of the car and Raffaele is the first to March forward.

Ignoring the greetings of the men there he turns to face them.

"Group yourselves soldiers there is war" That is all he says and walks to his weapon room.

Ten minutes later he is strapped by the best weapons owned only by the Vincenti’s as they have been specially made for him from the best weapon makers.

He grabs anything that can annihilate a person before stepping out completely armed.

Stepping out he sees his men already grouped and arranged, ready for combat and blood shed.

"It seems they have forgotten who Raffaele Vincenti is" His voice booms as he addresses his men.

"And maybe that made them think they can attack me repeatedly without consequences, now we burn this city down"
