Chapter 52: Chapter 51:Mad don

Third pov

Raffaele who is busy driving the car turns to look at bella wondering why she has suddenly stopped talking.

Starring at the way her head is rested against the chair of the car seat his brows furrow.

"Baby" He calls out softly but receives no reply from her.

Raising his hand, he lightly pats her waiting for a reply but receives none.

Panick starts to surge in him and he can feel himself beginning to get nervous.

"Baby, please wake up" Raffaele says again trying to assure himself that everything is ok but it all goes down the drain when he sees blood tickling out of her nose and some from her head.

He doesn’t even know when he quickly stops the car and quickly turns her to face him.

With trembling hands, he preseses the button in the car.

"Hospital now" Raffaele screams and starts driving the car to the hospital like a mad man.

Disregarding traffic lights and the rules he drives so fast that even some of his men loose him.

Driving to the nearest hospital, he doesn’t wait before speedily entering the hospital and picking her up.

"Call the doctor" Raffaele barks at the nurses who had rushed forward with a stretcher.

His phone starts ringing and one of the guards standing there that sees that the boss is unable to tell what is happening, hesitantly picks up the phone.

"Raff,-"Nathan doesn’t get to finish as the guard informs him of what is happening and that is all he needs to hear before cursing out loud and standing up.

"What is it" Emilia who is busy watching frozen with her son asks her husband.

"It’s Bella and Raffaele" That is all she needs to hear before quickly calling the nanny to look after Ethan and they both dash out of the house.

"We have to get there fast, he might have an episode" Nathan says with a worried expression and starts having a group call between their friends to imform them of what is happening.

"Emiliano" Nathan says the moment Emiliano picks up the call and starts telling him all that has been told to him.

Reaching the hospital, he steps out with his wife behind him and they get to the floor only to see Raffaele pacing to and fro with his hand in his hair and eyes reddened.

"Raff" Nathan calls out and walks towards Raffaele before pulling him into a bro hug but Raffaele doesn’t reciprocrate as his hands remain limp by his side.

"M-my b-baby" That is all Raffaele stutters out as Nathan stares at him

Emilia who is unaware of Raffaele’s condition stares at him like he has grown two heads, surprised by his behaviour and wondering what her husband means by he might lost control.

"Has the doctors said anything" Nathan asks the guards sitting there and they shake their head in the negative.

Nodding his head, he forcefully makes Raffaele to sit on the chair and Raffaele absentmindedly does.

He has seen blood all his life, heck he grew up bathing in blood but the image of blood gushing out of his baby has him trembling as the sight remains etched in his head and he finds it hard to breathe.

His body starts heating up and his whole body starts shaking, the urge to hit something, anything becomes prominent and he clenches his fists to control himself.

His vision starts getting black and his breathing short.

Raffaele shoots out of his seat and races towards the door to opsn it.

Nathan is quick to try to hold him but the beast of a man proves too strong to be held back by him and so the guards join him.

"Let go" Raffaele growls, his face turning red in anger.

"Calm down Raff, this will only slow them down and I am sure you want her to get better" Emiliano says barely controlling his voice from stuttering as he felt different emotions clawing at him.

After talking and trying to control Raffaele, he punches the wall so hard there is a dent there before he moves to the room close to that and starts destroying the place like an enraged beast.

Raffaele paces round the huge hospital room, his muscles tense and every part of his body screaming.

The urge to destroy the whole place is strong but just a glance at the pale girl lying on the bed unconcious makes him ball his hands in fists to avoid doing anything irrational.

Marching towards the sleeping figure on the bed, he lies down close to her on the bed and places his head on her stomach careful not to hurt her.

He raises his hand to caress her stomach and a sudden thought fills his head of when she would one day be filled with their babies.

Just the mere thought of that makes him overly excited and he smiles, the fury in his heart calming down just a fraction.

"Baby" Raffaele whispers, wishing his baby would just wake up.

"I promise you love, they’ll regret this and I’ll make sure of it and they’ll pay in a very horrible way" The whole place is about to be set on fire and that is what everyone around the underworld is about to witness.

No one touches his queen and is left unscathed.

With his head placed on her stomach, he holds onto her gently like she is a fragile pieces that can break anytime and to him she is that and much more, his hand caresses her stomach till he feels himself being lulled to sleep and he allows it.

Raffaele’s friends are busy pacing with Nathan being the most worried of the whole cruel.

"If Raff doesn’t get who tried to kill his woman we all know he is going on a killing rampage" He says and Eros who lifts a glass of whiskey to his lips, smirks as the sound of marsacre doesn’t sound si bad after all that is one thing the man looves about Raffaele.

The tjing they had in common

They are both crazy.

"Yes Nate, and that will not only disrupt the underworld but every other person in the country and maybe even beyond" Antonio says the thick cigrette sitting between his index and middle finger as he puffs out smoke.

"Why haven’t they be found yet" Eros questions confused.

"With your sources the asshole should be caught soon" Antonio says.

They all knew Raffaele must be stalling the search a little, playing a game with his prey which they are all familiar with.

The game that instills fear in the prey and he ends up coming out by himself to face less punishment from the beast of a man, not knowing nothing can really save him especially not now that it involves the life of his beloved.

Raffaele who has already instilled fear in the outside world, stands up after sometime but that is only because he feels a weak hand caressing the hair on his head.

His eyes snap open and he is sitting on the huge hospital bed before he knows it.

"Baby" His voice comes out hoarse at the sight of her barely open eyes as she stares at him.

Raffaele stares at her unable to comprehend what to do and it is only when a weak smile forms on her face, he quickly rushes to the button and presses it.

Soon doctors and nurses run into the room and without a word to the scary man they start checking her.

Raffaele has his large hand envelopping hers in a tight grip and refuses to let go while Bella just stares at the man in front of her.

Her memory is stillkind of hazy and even when the doctors are asking her questions, she takes her time before answering each question with either a small nod or yes or no reply.

When the doctor finishes, he turns and updates Raffaele on her health and he isn’t stunned when he sees Raffaele gaze focused on Bella without even moving away from her face.

Deciding the excuse the man, they all leave the room and Bella who is lying down tries to sit up.

"Be careful" Raffaele says, his voice soft with a rough edge to it.

Bella cracks a smile seeing that the man is all serious without one on his face.

Raffaele steps closer to her and when he helps her to sit comfortably on the bed, she can see his hand trembling and she could already guess he is about to experience one of his episodes.

Raffaele’s hands tremble as he feels his whole body screaming in something he himself cannot place his hand on.

After helping her to sit comfortably, making sure she doesn’t hurt herself, he is about to turn around when she tugs at the sleeves of his shirt.

He looks worn out, tho still handsone he looks like he has been run through by a huge train
