Raffaele’s gaze which is supposed to be focused on the person busy making a presentation is not even focused.

His desire and need for his Bella keeps on getting more intense daily and even he himself is scared he might just pounce and devour her like the beast he is.

From the laughs she gives which makes her blue orbs shine lighter or the little giggles everytime she sees something that is funny, a sound that goes straight to his heart with no way out and it messes with his brain not to talk of her addictive scent and how she unknowningly has him wrapped all around her fingers, he could swear she is an addiction and a dangerous one at that with no drug or rehab as a cure, she is the addiction and the cure.

He needed her to survive,heck he needs her to keep sane and that is exactly what is happening right now as ever since the talk where she agreed to them being couplely and he then took her back to the main house he wanted nothing more thab to stick her closer to his body.

However after she so lovingly asked him to allow her back to school last night, he does not have it in him to tell her no, not with those puppy eyes or those hypnotising lips of hers that he can spend the rest of his life devouring.

Knowing she is in school and sorrounded by other people did nothing but make a burning rage of jealousy appear in his heart.

He wants and needs her close.

"Vincenti" A seductive voice drawls out and he feels a hand on the upper part of his arm, snapping him out of his thoughts and instantly his eyes narrow.

Cornelia who dared to touch the beast of a king without permission cannot help but lick her lips seductively.

The feel of the man’s muscles under her skin makes her feel a thousand different things at once and the most prominent being lust, they had always admired him heck women flood him like he is all that is needed to live their life not only for his wealth and devlish look but for the man’s aura and how like other men doesn’t act on lust.

Heck he could see a woman naked and stare blankly but when it comes to his Bella even when fully dressed can evoke different emotions from him and make him act unusual and like a beast.

A look, a look is all it takes from Raffaele for her to quickly retract her hand like it burns her.

Raffaele stares ahead wondering if he was too lenient on her and her brother, he had warned them he would finish their enter family and nothing would be left of them if they so much as glance at his beloved and everybody knows, Raffaele Vincenti doesn’t make empty threats or promises.

Now in the meeting room listening to what he deems as boring as he would much rather take his time and be at home listening to Bella, be it when she is on the phone or nervously answering to his questions.

Though these days he has been nothing but haply and elated as she seems more accepting of him and doesn’t fidget thatmuch in his presence.

The door to the meeting room suddenly gets opened and the person busy talking pauses while all heads turn to the door.

Hearing the opening of the door, a frown makes its way to Raffaele’s face wondering who dared to enter without knocking.

He raises his head and the moment his gaze collides with that of a pair of lovely blue orbs, the glare in his eyes soften.

"Baby" Surprised will be an understatement to explain the reaction of the men and women in the room.

Bella stares at the room in regret, her whole body full of uneasy nerves, she knew coming to his office is a bad idea but Emilia alomg with Angel had to coax her to do it.

She had arrived to school and while telling Angel everything, she had a video call with Emilia and the two clicked instantly and that is how they suggested she goes to his office with food to thank him.

Though she doesn’t see why she has to thank him.

And that is how she instructed her driver to take her to Rafaele’s office while being a bundle of pure nerves.

She definitely does not know what to expect and now being here and seeing this much eyes on her makes regret to bloom in her chest.

The men in the room and women however look more shocked at the fact that Raffaele’s voice sounded tender and soft like he is handling something gentle.

"I-I’m sorry" She clears her throat awkwardly and turns to walk away while her cheeks flame in embarasssment.

"Come here" Raffaele calls out from behind her and instantly she freezes in her spot unknowingly.

She knows she cannot disobey the man and does not wish to anger him especially with his bipolar mood swings that end up scaring her so she turns around slowly to walk towards him.

You know that awkward and weird position in life where you are in a crowded place and just a crazy scream draws everyone’s attention to you.

That is exactly how she is feeling at the moment and she wishes the ground can only open up to swallow her.

Raffaele who can see that the other men in the room are starring at her, balls his hand into fists as he starts to feel angry at the fact that other men are starring at her.

"I’d advice you stop starring" Came his rough voice as he tries to keep his anger at bay and himself from exploding and probably shooting a few eyes in other to find peace.

Walking towards him, she stands beside him awkwardly when he suddenly grabs her wrist and pulls her down to sit on him.

A surprised yelp escapes her lips as she tries to stable her self on him, with wide eys she looks round the room only to see that the men are avoiding eye contact and nobody dared to look in her direction again

"Continue" Raffaele booms trying to keep the eagerness from his voice, he could not wait to finay be left alone with his little love.

The man making the presentation stutters but continues none the less while Raffaele looks down at the little woman in his arms, his eyes shinning with affection.

"Do you need something baby" He questions her softly.

Bella who is already uncomfortable, shrinks into his body further and shakes her head ’no’ at his question.

He nods his head at her words and his arms come circling round her waist.

The door opens and she sees her favourite person in the office which is Anne.

"Anna" Bella calls out and the blonde woman’s smile widens at the sight of Bella.

"Bells my beauty" She says walking towards Bella with the tray of snacks still in hand.

Bella grins widely and attempts to walk towards Anna but the firm hand on her waist halts her and she has to sit down involuntrary.

Anna tries to not react to the glare her boss is currently sending her and instead focuses her attention on the beauty sitting close to the don.

What a stingy man

Anna says internally.

"Please continue" Anna says and the person busy presenting passes a a subtle glare but not one she would notice.

Everyone in the office knows Anna, for someone to be able to tolerate Raffaele and work beside him for a long time then that person has to either be half as crazy as he is or more.

"I want to go with Anna" Bella whispers to the man whose glare towards his assistant intensifies.

"We’ll continue this tomorrow" Raffaele growls and instantly the room starts getting cleared.

Even the leach sitting there does not say anything and walks out when she feels anger rolling out of him in waves.

Bella looks up at Raffaele, a confused look on her beautiful face as she cannot help but wonder why he would end a meeting.

Unknown to her, the man has been unable to concentrate and it is all because of her presence and scent.

Dropping his head, he rests it between her neck and shoulder where he inhales her calming scent.

Raffaele doesn’t even realise when he pulls her closer to start sniffing her like a dog would.

A blush appears on Bella’s face as she tries to push him away seeing as Anna is there.

Anna who is watching the scene has on a myschevious smile stretched on her lips and goes as far as winking to a mortified Bella.

"Ra-Raffaele" Bella stutters out hoping the man would stop whatever it is he is doing.

"Good lord, I just want you bent over my desk this moment" Raffaele growls in her ear, freezing her.
