Chapter 30: Chapter 29: Rumors

Bella’s pov

I stand there not moving from my spot, I know the sound of gunshot when I hear one and since I have grown from a house where it is common my ears start ringing.

I attempt to walk down and see what is happening when I see Raffaele.

A man wearing a white shirt which is now red is holding his feet and pleading with him.

"Pl-please Mr Vincenti, one last chance" The man says clutching onto Raffaele’s lef like his life depends on it.

I suddenly feel a wave of pity and step closer.

"I am afraid that doesnt exist to me Bruno" Raffaele says his voice dangerous, low and unfeeling.

"Ple-shh you are about to die and instead of being happy all you are doing is whining" Raffaele says like it is the most annoying thing in the world.

I don’t even know what prompts me to do what I did or where the courage comes from but I find myself running towarfs him in spead.

Opening my arms I crash into him and hold him tightly against my body.

"Raffaele" I call out and thank the lord above I did not stutter.

Instantly I feel his arms around me, holding my body closer to his.

"Baby, what happened" He says turning to shield me away from the man who I have very well seen with my eyes.

"I-i am scared" I say and glance up only to see the man starring down at me with soft eyes.

"Why is this man crying" I ask feigning ignorance.

"Nothing baby, let’s get you to school" With that he starts leading me towards the room we share, completely forgetting about that man.

I quickly get dressed and step out to see him already showered wearing a two pieces navy blue suit that honestly fits him a little too much

I stand frozen in my spot as I stare at the boy standing in front of me, with hands clutching my school bag tightly, I try very hard not to roll my eyes in annoyance

"Will you be mine" Randon asks again with a small smirk stretched on his face and his hand which contains flowers are stretched out towards me.

I stare at him, my gaze movibg from his face to the things he is currently holding that he calls

Flowers.

"Bella dear" The same voixe coos again while I stand there absent minded for sometime before coming back to my senses...

"Please stop this madness" I say calmly and turn to walk away from the obviously stupid boy.

"Please Rose, I just need a chance and I promise to love you" He utters and there are few awwns from the crowd making me roll my eyes in annoyance.

Well what happened is after happily coming to school today and having some minutes of lectures from my capturer, I was walking to my class when suddenly I am sorrounded and the boy decided it was best or rather funny to show up in front of me holding flowers and a box of choclates on his knees asking me to be his girlfriend.

I just watch in utter fear, anger and boredom as he puts on his stupid act.

Fear of that capturer of mine who had warned me not to stare at another soul and anger because I got delayed to my class and now I have to stay to listen to absolute bullshit.

"Let’s go Bella" Angel says beside me and I nod my head before tightening my hold on her hand and we start walking away.

Before I can comprehend what is happening, I feel a grip on my hand and soon I am turned around rather fiercely.

I land on the chest of another and it takes me some time to realise that he just pulled me.

"Plea-" I cut him off by pushing away from him and glare at him harshly.

"How dare you" It comes out harsh I know, but I don’t kniw why a person would manhandle a lady like that.

"I just want us to talk" He says while his eyes take in my appearance.

The eyes, it is so different.

While he looked at me like I am the most precious diamond in the world, something he would like to posess, the boy in front of me is starring at me like I am just some meat for minimal satisfaction.

My inner voice asks and I quickly snap out of whatever spell I was in.

"Are you list-" With a raise of my hand hr stops talking while Angel who is beside me shamelessly lets out a giggle.

I swear I would have felt ashamed if not that I am currently pissed off.

"First off, I dont know you from anywhere and even if I did it will not change anything as I don’t feel anything for you and never will. Please I don’t want this to be embarassing for the both of us so please stay away from me and next time don’t grab a lady like that" With that I turn to grab a grinning Angel before walking away.

"Wohhooo" She screams in excitement while doing weird dance moves that has me shaking my head at her.

"Angel, why did you laugh that was so rude" I remind her and she just rolls her eyes at my words.

"Oh please, it was funny plus you were so cruel rejecting him in front of everyone like that"She says with an obvious glee on her face while I just shake my head at her words.

After class and everyother thing that has to do with me glaring at our mathematics lecturer, I am finally freed from hell and we quickly make our way to the library.

When I find a comfortable spot, I shoo Angel away and start reading this really nice book.

Half way through the begining of the book and glaring at the characters, I shut the book before deciding to just use my phone.

" it’s time to go" Angel says coming towards me with a wide grin.

I smile at her and quickly arrange ne things before we both make our way outside.

Just reaching outside, I immediately spot a white cardillac parked there and a convoy of suv’s.

Closing my eyes in irritation, I notice how the students are all gushing and taking pictures of the cars.

Angel and I make our way to the cars and my eyes instantly widen when I see Angel making her way to another set of cars.

"No Angel please go with me" I say pleadingly while holding her hands tightly not to let go.

She smiles and pats my head before holding my hands.

"I have to go home, besides you are going with Raffaele, I know you have always seen him as scary but he is a big softy" She says completely unaware of just how scary that big brother of hers can be.

I try to say something when the tinted glass rolls down slowly and I come face to face with his side view.

He doesnt say anything, he doesnt need to but just that glimpse has me quickly hugging Angel and making my way to the car.

"Good afternoon ma" A bodyguard says opening the door for me while I just squeak out a reply and enter the car.

"Hi baby" Those are the first words his deep voice greets me with, which sends a vibration all through my body.

I refrain from looking at him as I am sure my face is red.

Why is it red

I have no idea.

"Hi" My voice comes out sounding like that of a frog’s but I don’t do anything to clear my throat.

I feel a hand grabbing mine and that is when I snap to reality and also realise that the cars have started moving.

His hold on my hand is strong yet soft enough to allow me wiggle my hands in his but not soft enough for me to remove.

"How was school" He questions while starring at me.

"I-it was ok" I answer simply.

Why are you scared Bella, its not like he is going to eat you.

"I might baby girl" The moment those words escape his lips I let out a scream and release my hand from his.

I just said those words out loud and he heard me loud and clear.

"I-I sorry" I say again.

"It’s ok baby" He says all the while starring at me and I resist the urge to tell him to stop starring as all it does is make me feel funny and scared.

I turn to peak and see that he is still starring which instantly makes me duck my head and I hear a deep chuckle which escapes his lips.

Biting my bottom lips I stare out of the window of the car.
